How to change Chainsaw cylinder and piston. No Compression.

This Jonsered Chainsaw has no compression. Piston is with dents and scratches.This problems usually happens when not enough oil is added into chainsaw.
In this video I will show how to fix this problems with minimal tools as possible (At home conditions). All we have to do is just replace the cylinder and piston.

Super cool bro. Thank you very much. I feel so stupid. I ran my Jonsered 621 with 40 to 1 instead of 25 to 1. It died and has low compression.

When I adjust the idle screw I cant make the chain spin. It seems to idle okay though. When I give it gas it bogs down hard, if I slowly apply the throttle I can slowly amp it up to full throttle. It outputs too much bar oil. Any idea what this may be? Seems like its not getting proper gas...

Right now I am fixing an old 2035.
Are you shure the old sylinder is broken? After a piston damage like this, the sylinder looks bad. But after removing material from the soft piston, (that looks like scratches) it is sometimes still fine.
At 10:16 "Now we put on some silicone". It is a silicone gasket, a hardening sealant. Not that kind of silicone sealant we use in the bathrom. And make shure the groves in the krancase bottom is filled. Clean the surfaces with som petrol or breake cleaner first.

Jonsered and Partner chainsaw models if piston is broken sylinder will be broken as well. They are quite weak.
And you are right about the silicone i just forgot to mention it in the video.

But, maybe the "budget" Jonsered saws like the 2035 and 2137 has softer sylinder walls?
