A "Response" to William Osman's "I'm Done"

- This video isn't necessarily directed at William Osman as it is to anyone who feels a similar way or may feel a similar way to William in his video, it just sparked some words I feel needed to come out. Some things you can't help, people are mean and then we all die.
As someone who grew up being bullied heavily maybe I have a thicker skin than most but I do truly believe the internet is a place that will remain largely as untamed as walking down the street. People will be rude and horrible and whether that's who they are or if they've just having a bad day and taking it out on some unfortunate unexpecting individual the best thing you can do is not allow that behavior to ruin your day.
At the end of the day, William Osman is a net positive. And I'm glad he got out what he felt he needed to get out.

I hope William get some well deserved rest. No one really deserves any sort of negativity, but it is what it is I suppose. Thanks for the video btw, it's really chill that it helped me relax a bit.
I was going to comment this on williams video but decided not to since it defeats the purpose of the video i feel, i obviously agree with everything he said, but my only criticism, both to him and something you mention is, that doesnt sound like "youtube" comment section, or like you say "the internet", it just sounds like life, working in customer service i can tell you i get 1000% meaner and more frequent mean comments, except those are shouted at my ear, same as they all said in his video, the ones that hurt are the ones that might have some realness to them, and im not saying this to say boo hoo me, rather, it doesnt matter what you do, if you do something for humans itll be (criticized)edit.meant to say underappreciated, good or bad. and if you choose not to do anything for humans then you can imagine what the response would be. being productive for society comes with the cost of criticism, and in some cases borderline lunacy, being human comes with that cost. humans are beggars and also choosers
by doing anything for humans i mean, anything form a service to an item to a thought., just thought id clarify lol
I work in customer service too. Which I think hardens us a bit. But I completely agree, its a part of the experience of being in a SoCiEtY. People get to comment on what you do, and sometimes its fucking rude lol. I dunno one of the many spices of life.

there are always gonna be insufferable people. BUT! u also have those frequent fliers who are genuinely kind and caring, and truly realize that you're just a human like them, and u both live in a dog eat dog society
