Day 182 : Ch 321 + Ch 317 + Ch 318 + Ch 319 + Ch 320 Ch 321 : Sea God part 3 Shierje getting complimented as being the Ships guardian angel is great. She never really got that, only ever beeing seen as a bad omen. Thinking about it, maybe every "god-level" being like the sea god has things living intside of it. Qliphoth was simillar with the female godhand member saying it might as well be her womb. Ch 322 : Booming art Isidros fight against the captain is fun. He's found his fighting style really well in trickery. But what destinquishes him from the captain is that if he does mess up he has people who'd help him. Meanwhile the pirates are fed up with the captain trying to pull them all his way, making their cooperation mess up hard. I love how simple the defeat of the pirates is, they all gather inside one large tebtacle. And they just explode it in the most stereotypical way, I love Isidros face of "this ain't just gonna be the solution, right?". On Guts side, I just love the buildup to the heart segment. The hearts beats turning everything into a deep-sea atmosphere is really cool and unique. Ch 323 : A Call from the Deep The Berserker action with Guts mind intact feels a little like a slowmotion version of the usual armor. Guts does just as insane movements while remaining less reckless and there's more focus on a few of them instead of throwing 5 tornados in 3 panels. Isma saving Isidro is a great simple scene. I am not the biggest fan of the cutout before a character says something, but here it does fit lorewise I believe. There's also the scene of the pirates fully turning into tentacles, loosing all that was left of their humanity. It is a pretty scary concept, though never fully executed. Which somehow makes it a little scariet as the humanity that was lost isn't even mourned or anything, it just happened. I wonder if me feeling that the captain lost some of his style was a purposefull attemot at doing a natural transformation to a tentacle. Ch 324 : Merrow, Part 1 You know, I absolutely freaking love this starting scene. The current part is a really harsh battle, but the story can manage to go into such a joke. Black swordsman arc had some dumb jokes, but they were all held in the background as Puck trying to lift the mood a little. But this dumb joke has 2 entire pages made for it. I absolutely love it. The atmosphere really changed unbelievably much. I remember when starting the Hawk of the millenium arc thinking how the atmosphere resembled how Guts was doing emotionally. And I think that's still true, so just seeing this dumb joke flow so well within an action-heavy segment is wonderfull. Also note on the sea crew. Their chilled acceptance of all the magical things is greaty with sea people being known as superstitious it makes sense they just have a slight shock and then just accept all these things. And still Isidro somehow gets overdefensive. The concept of the secret name is interesting, it sounds like it'd have a lot of plot importance. The most intruiging thing is what is the secret name of the Berserker Armor or the beast. If the "secret name" allows one to controll a thing, that's what Guts is trying to learn about the beast. If that is indeed a part of the plot, then it turns Berserk even more into a story of finding yourself and coming over an emotional struggle. @@breannafreeman5520 i think telling someone to relax just for sayin that something is "not that good" its hysterical lmao but whatever. im putting my 9 years old cousin's marvel theories over the simplistic lore vatividia gives. im just being really straight forward, its "ok" i guess, but it kind of ruins the whole point of the souls series' narrative, Mordecai has a really great aproach to it, since he just tries to comprehend what could have inspired the odds to ideas implemented in the game, rather than doing a basic theory and giving it to you like it was the true, mixing script with images so you can take his "true" without even thinking it on your playthroughs so that you can buy his books about the history of Catarina and other money grabs he has. 💋

Day 28 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight. Feel free to share your thoughts on each boss fellow tarnished. Today we'll be talking about the Great Nailsage Sly. I can't be the only one that thinks this guy is similar to Yoda. He seemed like a typical merchant in the main game, but clearly he is a master of the nail arts. Sly can do big slashes and a dash from the entire arena. He has his own spinning attack similar to Oro and Mato. Sometimes he'll do a flip in the air for a vertical spinning attack. Phase 2 just involves him bouncing along the walls and spinning at you. Sneak in a few hits at the last second of his animation ending and this phase shouldn't be too hard. Definitely another one of my favorite bosses in the game. That concludes day 28 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight.

Day 28 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight. Feel free to share your thoughts on each boss fellow tarnished. Today we'll be talking about the Great Nailsage Sly.
I can't be the only one that thinks this guy is similar to Yoda. He seemed like a typical merchant in the main game, but clearly he is a master of the nail arts. Sly can do big slashes and a dash from the entire arena. He has his own spinning attack similar to Oro and Mato. Sometimes he'll do a flip in the air for a vertical spinning attack.
Phase 2 just involves him bouncing along the walls and spinning at you. Sneak in a few hits at the last second of his animation ending and this phase shouldn't be too hard. Definitely another one of my favorite bosses in the game. That concludes day 28 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight.
Keep up the good work mate. The Wait is almost over. Can't wait to start Exploring and Fighting. 👍👹.

I have been following you since the start and remember the hot summer days where your voice was tarnished and sounded like you hit rock bottom, but now look at you full of life, like a phoenix who rose from the ashes! All the respect goes out to you for your dedication and determination, and here’s to hoping that you officially collaborate or get to work with Bandai Namco or Fromsoft team one day

Guys, hope today is good day for everyone (that includes you Mord btw). Despite the ups and downs you have to deal with, there's always something precious to experience every day of the week, even if it's just something as simple as sharing a meal with a friend or walking your dog.
Maybe we're reaching the end of this journey, it was a lot fun ngl, but a new and more exciting one is waiting for us... in just one more week!
