KMax, I ended up with the Sealight H4 you reviewed. Super bright, glad I changed it. During an evening-night ride, I felt like it pointed over vehicles, and not to the ground. Can the Sealight be adjusted?

Hi Max. After watching your video of your $20 bike jack I subscribed to your channel. Max I have a question I’m hoping can help me with. My Vulcan 900 Classic is a 2006. Bought it used in May. In really good condition but I need to replace my front turn signals. I bought a set of 4 turn signals off of eBay...really cheap...the problem is the eBay turn signals have only 2 wire leads. The original turn signals have 3 wire leads. I can make the 2 wire turn signals work but I want to replace them with OEM turn signals. The only OEM signals I found are $69 each (also on eBay). If you know where I can get them cheaper please shoot short video describing the location. Thanks and keep up the great vids.
Hi, Vulcan 900 Classic bikes have two versions of the front turn signals, with two wires for Australia or Europe, and with three wires for USA and Canada. It is hard to find new OEM parts for significantly less than MSRP. If you live in US, I think the lowest price is at bikebandit.com (parts: Kawasaki LAMP-ASSY-SIGNAL,FR,LH Part # 23037-0511 & Kawasaki LAMP-ASSY-SIGNAL,FR,RH Part # 23037-0512). Their price is US$55.95 each and free shipping in US if you buy both left and right. They also have "LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE:. If you find a lower price, they'll match it. :) Ride safe!
K Max Video thank you Max. I’ve only had a brief time to look at bikebandit today but I got their phone number and will call them as soon as I have more available time. I really appreciate your help. Stay safe brother.
Hey Somebody who has already installed led with this type of radiator It’s all ok with rubber coverbag? I suppose heat from radiator can melt coverbag.
Sorry for delay. I have no issues with the temperature and melting. OEM halogen bulbs get really hot as well. I guess, those covers are designed to withstand the heat. Ride safe! Max
It is US$40.00 on Amazon and $5 Off Coupon. No adjustments were required when I replaced it. Here is a link: www.amazon.com/SEALIGHT-Motorcycle-Headlight-Conversion-Approved/dp/B071Z7RHYM/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=H4+LED+%22Sealight%22&qid=1612580896&sr=8-8. Ride safe!
I was trying to figure it out myself. I also already had few similar questions. Unfortunately, I could not find any information. There is nothing on the manufacturer's website right now. I was trying to find it in many different places, but found none. Sorry. Ride safe! Max
@@KMaxVideo Hi Max, I can give you some info on the M1 now. Amazon had sent me the M1 instead of the S1 you recommended. Spec wise both are identical. The M1 has the external controller. I was concerned it is going to fit all inside the headlight housing. Sending it back was going to cost me 24 bucks, so I thought, let's have a crack at it. The controller look bigger than it is on the package or photos. It is around 1 1/2" long, 1" wide and around 3/8" thick. Plenty of room inside the housing. And yes, very happy with the LED bulb and light improvement in the dark early morning ride to work. Love it. I also reduce/got rid of the headlight vibration. On the bumpy road it would vibrate the light beam somewhat. Since my bike is 15 years old, the rubbers must have shrunk a little. I ground down the spacer around 1 mm while having the lens out, now being firmer on the rubber grommet. Nice smooth light beam now. Frank
Hi Frank, mine S1 has exactly the same external controller as M1. That's why I couldn't see any difference. :) In any case, as long as it works as I expect it to do, I am cool with it. That's what matters, right? All the best! Max
I actually could not find any difference between M1 and S1. There is not much documentation or information on those lamps. Based on feedback I received from other folks both work just fine. Ride safe! Max
Hey Max, I have a question for you. Some of the road surface I travel on daily is a tad ordinary. This causes the headlight to vibrate some. Is there a trick or way to reduce vibration on the headlight that you know off? Thanks for your time.
Hi, I had S1 installed on my bike. I saw on the box that there are other versions: M1, M2, M3, S2, S3, etc., but I could not find any information as it relates to the difference between those series. Their website does not work right now for some reason. Although it worked a little while ago. I remember looking through it, but I don't remember what the difference was. Ride safe!
thanks Max, can you recommend a modulator (it makes the headlight blink) to the v900 on amazon or wherever where its is easy labor to input, i heard their like 100$ I wana do ur LED sealight and modulator combo to my v900, thanks?
Do you want to have the headlight blinking? I know a lot of folks make the break lights blinking. Honestly, I have never tried anything like that for the headlights.
Hello Max. Bamadad53 again. I’ve messaged you before. Max I have a windshield similar to yours with a large rectangular cutout over the headlight. A lot of wind passes through that cutout. It looks like you have a rectangular shaped insert that blocks the wind around your headlight and that attaches to your main windshield. I’m hoping you can tell me where I can find one like it. Thanks Max and by the way I saved your oil change video and use it when I change the oil on my Vulcan 900 Classic LT.
Hi, I know what you are referring to. I did not get it separately. I bought it together with the windshield. I think you can make one yourself. You can buy a piece of acrylic sheet at the hardware store and cut it out to the size and form. I can take exact measurements for you. It looks like it is about 1.5-2 mm thick. If you have the same windshield as I do, you'll need a peace 16"x10".
Thanks Max! This is a great video! Thanks to you I bought and installed this LED headlight. I put a night ride video on this headlight and a link to your video for DIY: th-cam.com/video/Hj0_0R5coAY/w-d-xo.html
