I prefer this song over the original release. It's more party like....which is what the entire galaxy WAS doing, so it feels more star wars like anyways. But hey that's just me.
+Supersnow Yeah, my favorite part is the vocalizing. That choir does a good job in adding to the celebratory and peaceful feel. This song definitely beats the original release.
manifesting a consciousness and physical form with the force after death is something only jedis know (Qui gon jin, obiwan, yoda and anakin to be specific) If would be nice if everyone was there but it wouldn't make any sense
I love this music. Also, I don't mind Hayden being the ghost, because I admit it it's partially my nostalgia, but I don't hate the prequels, Phantom Menace, I think meh, Attack of the Clones, slight guilty pleasure, and Revenge of the Sith, My personal favorite prequel film and my favorite Star Wars film. I cannot deny the awesomeness of this music though, and I like how it actually feels celebratory, and I know I'm petty, but the vocalizing, I LOVE the vocalization, because of how it adds to the peaceful celebratory feel the music gives off. And makes for a good voice warm-up before you try to sing. Sorry, again I love singing, sue me
Ahh, I totally understand ; that would be awesome. I just don't think it would work since she was portrayed, not as a Jedi sensitive to the Force, but as a regular person. As awesome as it would have been to see her included and Luke seeing his family, both his Father and Mother, I don't think she had the training to engage in Force Ghosting. I didn't even think of that though, before I seen your comment haha. That still would've been rad..
RIP Jecht RIP Auron RIP Yuna RIP Matoro RIP Baby Millionaire *"be always beloved her father."* RIP Edgar roni Figaro We always be missed you Best are legends!
Cuanta nostalgia por esta cancion estan genial que solo de volverla a escuchar puedes imaginar aquella esena en la que luke skywalker pasa a ser parte de la fuerza :(
it would be soo great if they did another edited vesrion with little anikan and young obi wan yoda and QUI GON as ghosts that would actually be touching
The Channel The reason they made the change with Hayden Christensen was because it makes more symbolic sense. It's a metaphor for how Anakin Skywalker died on Mustafar, from then on, he was known as Darth Vader. His force ghost represents the Anakin which was still a Jedi.
+Aquaman Hasnat They digitally took his head from an outtake from ROTS(without him knowing) and placed it on the original actor. Kind of lazy and disrespectful to the original actor, Sebastian Shaw. And he wasn't cast in 1999, he was cast in 2002. Also in case you didn't know, the Original Trilogy you see today on Blu-Ray/DVD isn't the ACTUAL theatrical version. It's the special edition versions in which they added cgi over some of the effects, changed plenty of scenes (George made Greedo shoot first this time and this song wasn't the victory celebration song, it was 'Nub Nub'), and basically made things try connect more with the prequels and added a lot of unnecessary and dumb things.. The theatrical cuts are hard to find, mainly because Lucas refused to release them most of the time. He finally did in 2004 but never did it for the Blu-Ray(Hopefully Disney does). If you want to see all the changes George Lucas made and why many people hated them, check out HelloGreedo's channel.
Pink Guy It didn't clear up any plot holes. It made more actually. How would Luke recognize young Anakin? Why doesn't Obi wan look like Ewan Mcgregor? It made no sense.
I love this theme, but not this version that's on the album with the added children singing "ya-ya-yaaaa-yaaa-yaaa". I was pissed when I bought the CD and heard that. Like... wtf John Williams?? Anybody know of a version without the "yaa-yaa"?
How do you get the year of ROTJ's release (1983 not'86), how the ghost of Anakin originally looked like, the first time this song was heard (1997 not 86') all wrong!
+Gouki_CR Don't know if it's him or not, but on Naboo in the celebration scene, you can here someone say "Wesa free!" and standing on a tower. Check it out!
They should have just left the original scene as it is, the new music is fantastic, much better than the original. Or just a suggestion, try add Hayden be added there, like as anakin appears, its starts from hayden then grows into sebastian.
I mean, the ghost.....Yeah they should have kept Shaw in, but I would've tolerated Hayden's ghost if it wasn't looking in a direction that wasn't towards Luke. It looks so weird.
+TwizzyEmpire It's just most people use this unfortunate moment when he looks really, really bad. But compare it to the very moment he appears and looks at Luke with joy and love.
Why? Luke never knew Qui Gon... and Alec Guiness was a much cooler Obi-Wan, as was original trilogy Yoda. Also, why would his father come back as a ghost-child? Stupid idea.
Ahi si q. Me hecharon a perder el final como q cambiarme al anakin viejo. X el joven si iban. A hacerme esa cochinada. Hubieran hecho el cambio completo. Cambiar a obi whan.... Tambien. Acaban de. Echarme a perder mi infancia. En 1 minuto..... Idiotas .
I still prefer the original version of the ending, and I grew up with the prequels, having only got the chance to see the theatrical releases a year ago.

Amen to that! Plus this feels more like a link to the Prequels which they are supposed to be.
+Supersnow Yeah, my favorite part is the vocalizing. That choir does a good job in adding to the celebratory and peaceful feel. This song definitely beats the original release.
+Supersnow me 2
Where can I listen to the original version?
I honestly love both versions, Yub Nub and Victory Celebration.
Brilliant and emotional music and of course the pic of those three is timeless :)
This is my alarm clock music every morning before going to work.... from 1:15 to 1:33, on repeat mode xD
+RoBeR200sx But why did you cut it out after 1:33? :(
Such good memories......
Cody Skywalker That was Vader....Not me go ask him
Star Wars will forever be apart of my life.
even though this was a joyous moment, everytime i hear this my chest and heart just aches. i really don't know why.
It would be better if he saw padme & anakin together, it would be a happy ending since Luke would be looking at his parents
manifesting a consciousness and physical form with the force after death is something only jedis know (Qui gon jin, obiwan, yoda and anakin to be specific) If would be nice if everyone was there but it wouldn't make any sense
What he said. Only Jedi can become 'force ghosts'.
I love this music. +David Timmer You prefer revenge of the sith over the original films? lol
Riley Herbert Yep. Not ashamed to say it
David Timmer.....I'm with you all the way, love revenge of sith and hayden and I'm proud to say to!
I like this song
I love this music so much that i never gonna stop watching it
J'adore cette mélodie depuit 30 ans et je continu de la regarder
Ye .. I wanted that anakin and padme had be togeter that was the best end
The Return of the true jedi.
If only Padme apears near Anakin would make best ending to story
Ahh, I totally understand ; that would be awesome. I just don't think it would work since she was portrayed, not as a Jedi sensitive to the Force, but as a regular person. legends in the galaxy far far away
JEDI!
wish they would have a ewan mcgreggor ghost aswell, and padme, maybe even the black guy master windu

This song came out in 1986? I never heard it until like 2005
I think the song was first made in '97 for the Special Edition re-release.
Hmm, maybe I heard it then. I don't know. They wouldn't have been able to do it with the Naboo and Coruscant scenes back then
They added those scenes on the '97 Special Edition, and then added that on the 2004 DVD release along with the Hayden ghost
Dex Draven it beats the fuck out of Yub Nub
CynicallyObnoxious Agreed.
This was never released in 1986. It was released in 1985 in the 1985 re-release and was probably heard again in 1997.
Luke Yannuzzi No this song doesn't exist in 1985
Евгений Орлов Yeah, this music doesn't exist 1985, this song exist in 1997.
Luke Yannuzzi No
It never released in 1985 and 1986 neither
@@channelisreturned1194 Then why does it say 1986.
I really don't care that they replaced it with hayden. and this ending is amazing.
Gorge Lucuse should pay you for that idea
I like how Anakin wears white in this.
How did they get Anakin to show up in 1983 when was only cast in 99?
+Aquaman Hasnat They digitally took his head from an outtake from ROTS(without him knowing) and placed it on the original actor. Kind of lazy and disrespectful to the original actor, Sebastian Shaw. And he wasn't cast in 1999, he was cast in 2002.

+Christian Young
The Laserdisc sets are the best way to see it I have both the original and the 1997 that has Mr, Shaw's' ghost
Christopher K I own the dvd set that comes with both versions. Thanks for the suggestion though.
+Christian Young Don't be a prequel hater, the changes were for the best to clear up plot holes.
Pink Guy It didn't clear up any plot holes. It made more actually. How would Luke recognize young Anakin? Why doesn't Obi wan look like Ewan Mcgregor? It made no sense.
*remade
The 3D rereleases were cancelled. But at least now we're getting new movies.
I can't wait for the new ones. Gonna miss anakin in them tho
Any regrets yet?
Jar jar bonks never died.
Please add daniel fleetwood at the end someone
I love this theme, but not this version that's on the album with the added children singing "ya-ya-yaaaa-yaaa-yaaa". I was pissed when I bought the CD and heard that. Like... wtf John Williams?? Anybody know of a version without the "yaa-yaa"?
That added more emotion for me.
thebbeenn It's "jub-jub" ¬¬
Alex Vázquez No that's the old Ewok theme...
Num sei pq mas eu chorei nessa parte :') acho que pq o Darth Vander volta a ser o que era antes Anakin Skywalker ele volta ao lado bom da força.
Darth Vanderson
though one question how would luke know what his father looked like back then I mean he's younger then luke.
i like it
Eu chorei nessa parte
I think that even though Luke didn't know them, there should have been Qui-Gon and Mace Windu. They knew how to manipulate the force that way.
ganeshapartners yoda never taught mace windu, and well yea qui gon probably should have been but they didnt have an actor for him.
How do you get the year of ROTJ's release (1983 not'86), how the ghost of Anakin originally looked like, the first time this song was heard (1997 not 86') all wrong!
15jan2016. still hear. anakin skywalker
When u killed all of academy 😂😂😂
Would have been cooler if qui gon where there
What happened toJar Jar Binks after Episode III? I mean, he did not die so why he's not on movies IV, V and VI?
+Gouki_CR
Don't know if it's him or not, but on Naboo in the celebration scene, you can here someone say "Wesa free!" and standing on a tower. Check it out!
La cancion da pena por que los jedis estan muertos 😂😂😂
How the hell did were thry able to have anekin look like haydem 20 something years in the past?
Hayden Christensen Anakin Skywalker Ghost
Because he didn't know him
Since Alec Guinness is dead, they'll probably end up doing that in episode VII.
They should have just left the original scene as it is, the new music is fantastic, much better than the original. Or just a suggestion, try add Hayden be added there, like as anakin appears, its starts from hayden then grows into sebastian.
Ghosts don't let alone they cannot age
Because I think it was Sebastian shaw never was anekin he was vader and Hayden Christiansen was anekin
I mean, the ghost.....Yeah they should have kept Shaw in, but I would've tolerated Hayden's ghost if it wasn't looking in a direction that wasn't towards Luke. It looks so weird.
+TwizzyEmpire so much this.
+TwizzyEmpire It's just most people use this unfortunate moment when he looks really, really bad. But compare it to the very moment he appears and looks at Luke with joy and love.
It wound be nice having anakin (episode III) rubbing anakin (episode I ) hair
who is that guy on the left? (i mean in movie, not actor. I didn't watch all episodes, only first 3)
Anakin Skywalker. Luke and Liea's Father. :)
HikariAngel16
Lol I literally just finished watching last Episode, but thanks for the answer though :)
+DoktorJoint Pff- Oh. okay. You're welcome. :D
Aaaaaa perdona :p
Really ? :D I think it will be » Padmé,Anakin,Obi-Wan,Yoda,Qui-Gonn ;-)
Im ok with the addition of Hayden Christiansen, but his smile looks... sinister :/
Why? Luke never knew Qui Gon... and Alec Guiness was a much cooler Obi-Wan, as was original trilogy Yoda. Also, why would his father come back as a ghost-child?
Stupid idea.
haha you think??
me gusto mucho él final pero no me gusto que se muriera darth vader
Do away with the Yub Nub all you want, but GET HAYDEN CHRISTIANSEN OUT OF MY FACE!!!!!!!!
Elaine anderson Not in the prequels, he wasn't.
Same here.
Ahi si q. Me hecharon a perder el final como q cambiarme al anakin viejo. X el joven si iban. A hacerme esa cochinada. Hubieran hecho el cambio completo. Cambiar a obi whan.... Tambien. Acaban de. Echarme a perder mi infancia. En 1 minuto..... Idiotas

I still prefer the original version of the ending, and I grew up with the prequels, having only got the chance to see the theatrical releases a year ago.
