Vastly underrated bike. I don't understand why Suzuki is not working on marketing this thing properly.
I felt the seat to be a piece of slippery crap on both the new 150 and 250 as I was never able to have grip, kept being pushed around.
But otherwise, this bike is amazing. I'd say the engine felt just as smooth and relaxed right next to the ancient CBR250R's engine which is legendary as we know it.
This bike deserves a bit more flashier graphics to attract customers because it looks quite bland while the 150s look better.

@@dxxibit almost all SVCs of companies are filled with young kids as mechanics who had just completed Automobile Engineering diploma and got training from the company on their specific products.
So we cannot expect them to be passionate or enthusiastic about the job they are doing. So the outcome is not very satisfactory.
In my thought the prblm with gixxer is its look.. Mstly when i asked talk with my fren they dnt lyk the looks.. Yet its really nice bike bt looks is prblm and headlight this is still not good even same with sf.. If we put. Side by side to competetor gixxer looks little not good compare to other bikes..

This bike has a really good 250cc Engine, really good bike..
Apart from the design which is r&d related, considering the marketing strategy I feel it’s name GIXXER worked for 155 Cc .. but for the 250 they should have opted for any other name to make it unique...
also the fate is Suzuki bikes have good build quality but poor sales, but suzuki produces cars with poor build quality but sales is good

I ride an Interceptor 650....so sold the classic 350...now looking for a bike which will match my expectations in a quarterliter class...and I find Gixxer 250 most likely choice as I don't want to encounter similar bikes while on road at the same time offer a performance to love...only niggle is the seat ergonomics

A very practical introduction video to the real world daily usage of a motorcycle. City roads in India seems quite challenging to ride, I can see that the road pavement changes block after block but a lightweight and ABS equipped motorcycle like this one all seems manageable and even enjoyable.

Suzuki Gixxer 155&250 are very underrated for sure. In Kerala, Suzuki dealers provide pathetic service. Companies need to make sure you carry along good dealers focusing on customer centric ones.

Bro, I am thinking about buying access im Kerala man, it's a great scooter. But i am also worried about the service. I am sure they might be some decent dealers.
@@lijomathew8373 there might be some good dealers too but I m not sure. I went for test drive of 2019 model Gixxer and they gave me a very old bike. The staff at the dealership wasn't interested in anyways to sell I guess. Reviews for their service centres are also very poor.

Suzuki India should launch adventure tourer version of the same engine with ground clearance of 200+mm , good rider and pillion comfort for long ride, switchable rear ABS, Bluetooth connectivity console ,raised handlebar, and a tall windshield, long travel suspension.
Will be more suited for longer rides in low budget.

@@AK-fm2xn Suzuki made 2 blunders here . Even if sports tourer , a 15 litre tank and a 160 mm suspension travel both was must . Not asking for 200 mm like Himalayan but this is minimum to ask. No need for switchable ABS if not hardcore off roading.

Hope their next iteration brings in ride by wire and slipper clutch. And possibly a bit less plastic. Love the ride otherwise! Still torn between the more expensive Duke and this well balanced (performance vs cost) bike.

Suzuki busy with Access and Burgman series that they forget about Gixxer series completely ! Just look at that awful color updates they gave for Gixxer but just look at the all led setup with advanced digital console for Access and Burgman 🤦
The new sporty color is actually better than old one which had a simpler look. Again it depends on the person

I have a gixxer 150 gixxer one thing wrong on this is the ergo i mean the seat and tank i feel to sit comfortable i have to slide back on the seat but its super slippery and the fron of seat needs to be narrower
I think the reason why this is so underrated is because of suzuki half ass work like they were on their way to make a great streetfighter or race bike but then stopped to think about the office worker

I am gonna upgrade from 150cc to 250-300cc bike soon. My only concern is if 250-300 is a good segment, so that the bike doesn’t feel underpowered in long run. I typically ride bit aggressively; 80-120 kmph being the sweet spot for me. I am considering bw Jawa 42 &Gixxer Sf 250.
Should I go for it or look for higher segment bike?

According to your riding style which is aggresive go for the Duke 390. And upgrading from a 150 cc to a 250 cc is not an upgrade these days or my advice would be just stretch your budget a but and go for the RE 650

How's the break bite and pillion comfort especially for ladies sitting with saree.
I have it and my mom sits sideways occasionally . The only problem is that she can't rest both her legs on footpegs because it's small , like that of a commuter bike . So if u have any such plans taking ladies in a bike like this , u should fix an additional ladies footrest . She has travelled more than 15-20 kms and she was okay with comfort till these 20 kms. Other problem is that since she is used to commuter bikes closed grabrail type , she finds the open grabrails in this a bit difficult . But grabrails are damn strong though .
Brakes - I feel front brake has good bite . Rear is ok, won't praise much . I apply both most of the time , abs works very well , wheels never got locked . And talking about braking confidence in speeds I'm confident upto 90kmph because I haven't pushed more than that . Thanks to roads here .
