Its a versatile bike, in my opinion. I test drived Dominar 250, FZS 25 and Gixxer 250. Here's my verdict : 1. Dominar is good at highway not for city(weight) and twisties(130 sec tyre and heavy weight) 2. Fzs 25 is only for city, if you hit 100+kmph on highway it's strains like 150cc bike(even rtr160 4v can hit 100+kmph). 🌟Now, Gixxer 250 has manageable weight on city, 🌟Enough power to cruise in highway without locking out the throttle. 🌟110,150 sec Radial tyres really works, you can confidently corner in twisties.

Yes, but even though Gixxer 250 is just great at all tasks, some people will still want to consider Dominar 250, for their own reasons I guess. It's kind of funny, I was buying fuel for my motorcycle only this afternoon, when I saw a relatively new Dominar 250 pass by. There was so much noise coming out of the motorcycle as it approached a speed breaker I could barely pay attention to the engine sound itself. Compared to Dominar, my 6-year old GS150r looked classy and to the point, just there, waiting for me. No noises after 19,000 Kms. Cherry red beauty is on my channel, just with minor mods after 2 or so years.
Side stand cutoff blah blah? Really you guys managed to come yup with this disadvantage? Seriously. A liquid cooled engine? More colour options? Better tyres? Larger display? You could have said anything!
Why does every one want a liquid cooled engine all we want is a engine that doesn't heat up a lot and that is completely well managed in this bike , tyres is not of a concern because they provide great grip and in this price range don't even expect any thing better . Ya display is a bit small. And bikes with dohc and liquid cooling of the same segment gets heated up a lot than this.
@@linkinpark7898 I bought this bike In September sold my 6 years old classic 350 , as I travel a lot I have already completed 5k kilometres this bike have a magic with its engine , its oil cooled have no fins and have a cooling fan too but the engine never over heats at all and the dealership is so responsive they don't do nonsense billing ,like RE did with my bike every time , at the price of 2.13 lakhs on road Bangalore , it's a pretty good bike and the engine is Highy tractable, ( many complained about the spares availability) ,the 250 shares everything from the 155 , headlights , forks with single bolt axle , foot pegs , silencer / exhaust , throttle cables and handle bar , strengthened chassis , a no master link ( DID 520VF CHAIN SPROCKET) DID IS BRAND WHICH IS USED BY FAMOUS BIKES LIKE THE R1 AND EVEN THE GSXR1000 COMMING TO SERVICE and the oil filter is priced at 32 rupees and oil 676 rupees ( not motul it's ( idemitsu ) aka suzuki r9000) and Air filter at 112 rupees and its way better In all ways from my slow , and vibrating RE which had 80k on the odo and the engine was never opened up , and not even a clutch cable broke in these 6 years it was pretty reliable but expensive spares ( with very low quality ) too much pathetic service teams made me not to buy the interceptor Please note The cbr 250r and Gixxer have the same compression ratio that is 10:7:1 Cbr 250r has dohc and liquid cooling and tall geared and more teeth chain SPROCKET making it to achieve class leading top speeds in the segment

My comment on the channel was a sarcasm, as they were nitpicking things out of it.😂 P.S- I had a Thunderbird too from 2010-2015 and then Pulsar 220 from 2015-19. And I still love this bike! Because it is so practical and fun to ride!.
I am already using Gixxer 150 and a huge fan of this bike....I am waiting for twin cylinder Gixxer as I will surely go for it....I love the way this bikes handles....like a mature and big bike
The SF looks half cooked, with that small wind shield. If you are 6 feet or above,the bike will look tiny on you. Otherwise it's a great machine! I have the naked one matt black. Smooth AF.
Guys, great review. Currently, I think the 250 segment belongs to the Suzuki Gixxer 250 (Sf and Naked). Considering the price difference, it makes only sense to go with the Dominar 400 and if you are tighter on the budget to even afford the Gixxer 250, the latest Apache RTR 200 4V is no pushover and is the best bike in its segment.

Hello... i have gixxer 155 BS3 version. I bought it in year 2015. Now I have completed 148000 km running. The bike is absolutely fantastic comfort, pickup and mileage is also good. Still I am getting mileage of 50 kmpl in city and 55 kmpl on highway. I am completely satisfy with gixxer. Only one drawback is the back seat is not that comfortable for ladies.
I took test ride of both sf 250 and naked 250. The main problem I felt is that curved seat along with slightly rearward foot peg. Every time you apply brake and it creates problem. I also read many comments about breaks are not that good. Lookwise I do not like headlamp and the exhaust, and the handlebar also looks very basic. Yes side-stand fuel cutoff is a safety feature Suzuki should have added, Duke bikes have this.
@@chriscs9080 Well ok, I guess I am not asking anything extra. The seat could have been flat, like duke bikes or yamha fz 25. I am not sure why they tried to make more aggressive posture. But yes handlebar looks very basic. Even cheaper bike like fz 25 has better looking handlebar. Also on road price of gixxer 250 is almost same as ex-showroom price of old duke 390. So it is not that cheap in India for many.

No not at all even I enquired some owners and they said no issues like that but I saw a TH-cam video about this and that's the only one about the issue
If you have a budget get the Duke 250 don't compare the Gixer or Dominar with it have ridden all three bikes I don't see any negatives on Duke 250 don't spread hate on KTM
I didn't like the Duke 250 at all. The clutch is too grabby, the motor isn't engaging at low rpms, it's nothing like the Duke I know of. It's the most mature of the ktm lineup, but why would I take a ktm if I wanted something mature? The Duke 250, is bad as a ktm.
Y still they give this with non LED blinkers & no Bluetooth connectivity turn by turn navs & a little bigger screen even after 2020 😡 for a bike @ this price
Do not buy suzuki bikes .I have an gixxer which i bought in 2014 and i still struggle for its parts. The aftersales service is very bad and parts are also of inferior quality . Rusting issues in tank are also present . Have changed the fuel tank as well . Better go for Bajaj

I get 38-39 everytime in mixed conditions if chain is properly clean , lubed and is at correct slack as well as tyres at correct pressure.

Dominar is heavier than it should be, being a 250 cc bike. Also, Gixxer should be a better handler as well.
Bit better ergonomics , mileage , easy to use & acceleration much better ... sohc engine so less heating no tension for liquid cooling
