Aquila Private Game Reserve is situated under two hours from Cape Town. You can choose to visit Aquila for a game drive, or you can make a weekend out of it by booking accommodation. The reserve has rich wildlife, so chances are excellent that you will see the big five on your game drive. We look at the majestic big five at Aquila Private Game Reserve - lion, buffalo, rhino, elephant, and leopard. Find the article on my blog too allthehype.co.za/aquila-priva...

I live in the south africa and in johannesburg, definitely on my bucket list!! I also do love how the name of the reserve is based of the jungle books wolf alpha. Also, do you perhaps know what might be the best time of year to visit? I heard during september time is quite good since most of the animals drop their babies. Thanks for the video btw!

Hello Molten ShadowLocks! Thank you for your feedback, I'm happy you enjoyed the video. September does sound like a good time of the year to visit them. I'm not too familiar with the animals' breeding period, so I can not really provide any feedback on that. But I can say that around September / October the weather in Cape Town is starting to warm up and the animals are more active during warmer weather. Hope you get to tick this one off your bucket list real soon!

Aquila private game reserve is a great destination to visit throughout the year. However, the most stunning time to explore Aquila is during spring, as the summers can get too hot and winters too cold. The spring season from September to November is considered the best time of the year to visit Aquila.

Very interesting, do you perhaps know if they have animals such as Cheetah, Hyenas and Wild Dogs? Just curious, they're my top 3 favorite animals

Hi there Lime Impostor! According to the game ranger, there are cheetahs on the reserve, but seeing them on a game drive is rare as they are not too active during the day. To the best of my knowledge, they do not have hyenas or wild dogs on the reserve.
If you happen to be in the Cape Town area and love cheetahs, you can check out Ashia Cheetah Sanctuary in Paarl. Here's a link to their website: www.ashia.co.za/ I haven't been there, but it's on my to-do list.

Hi there Ammara, you can look at the Aquila Safari website to learn more about their offerings. You can also book your desired activity directly on their website. There are various options to choose from, from half-day safaris to staying over in one of their cottages. The pricing will depend on the activity you want to do.
I do not work directly for Aquila Private Game Reserve, so I can not help you with exact pricing or bookings, but here is the link to Aquila's official website www.aquilasafari.com/ where you can look at and book a breathtaking safari experience of your choice.
