i’m 14 and this was (and still is) my dream school but the cost of living is so high for a TRIPLE.. also the communal bathrooms is giving total drama

A lot of good info. So what location would you suggest living off campus? And how much cheaper is it living off campus?
The cost is gonna depend where you live but there are lots of places where you'll save a couple hundred a month. If you're gonna live off campus look at available spots now because lots of things are already filled. It depends what is important to you. Do you want to be close to campus? Closer to the beach? Do you need parking? Look at the reviews of the leasing companies, they tend to be pretty accurate.
how likely are you to get paired with the roommate you requested? also, is it first come first serve when it comes to doubles or triples?
I haven't heard of anyone who didn't end up with someone they requested. However, if you put one person down you can still end up in a triple with someone random as well. They're not first come first serve I think it might have to do with class standing but besides that it's random.
