Miss you :( You were the only guy consistently dropping flashlight videos on TH-cam. Hope you're back! Theres a big hole in the content as far as I can tell, hopefully you can take advantage!
It really is a good light. I do wish they swapped some of the side LEDs for some UVs and then it would meet all of my needs (I don't need a green laser).
Performance is one consideration. But the form factor is another big consideration, the flat form flashlights have proven by sheer sales they are popular and here to stay.
A UV would be great for this and the 24 series. The 24 would compete more on the portability side against Arkfeld, Rovyvon E80/E90, and the Wurkkos HD01 series but with a replaceable battery. Then the 23 would just destroy on lumen output and battery size.
Yes I agree the IF24 would be great with UV and a laser. And the upgraded UI where it doesn't turn on when switching modes. For me the Arkfelds are too little performance for the cost.
I love this form factor with, a main light and the side lights. I have a IF23, IF24 and a IF24Pro, I can't believe I am considering buying a IF23 Pro. Great lights for what they are.
I wish the IF24 Pro had the same "off" default this one does when you switch modes. It drives me nuts! I hope they update the 24 to match that and the ability to change the color temp on the side light. Just make these identical but one is smaller and lower lumen with the 18650 vs 21700.
Tbh the magnet is not strong enough on horizontal and i put extra double magnet to make it more reliable and the bezel should be thicker. Mine has drop twice because of the weak magnet. Overall the flashlight is awesome. I really like the sidelight can change the light colour temperature.
Great video as usual. I have the Sofirn - IF23 (2 of them); IF24; IF24 Pro and now I am thinking of this one, IF23 Pro. They have a great price at this moment. I like the Ramp feature on this one.
For that price light output seems pretty cool. But tbh, all that side bullshit is hardly useful. Actually I am not avare what for is strobe actually used for. But I already hate clicking thru many options. In this case it just seems they ae trying to make it worth the money.

Nice. I wish they'd skip the rgb and instead have a nice flood UV light. Or both. Other than that I'd buy this over an arkfeld any day

@ I prefer a side light too so the Wurkkos HD01 Pro or the Rovyvon E30/80/90 are more my thing.

What are the run times for the front led?
