Hi Steven, thank you for the kind words. Support for K&K shark vanes, feathers and regular vanes is coming very soon. We tried contacting you in early 2020 when the Rev. 1 was released, but with no reply, so hopefully we can sort something out now 😉
Send one to Jake Kaminski for review. If he reviews it you’ll get a bunch more exposure. The Wing Thing has been kept a hidden gem for too long. Love mine and I sing the praises of it to other wing users
Archery Supplies never answer emails in my experience over a few years, so the lack of response to yours is pretty standard but unfortunate 🙂 .Love the Wing Thing that I have from you by the way, with care the standard holder works well for up to 70mm XS Wings for me
I have been watching videos for a couple of days on the tape and various jigs. I am sold on the tape for Mylar type vanes and from what I have seen, this jig is one of the best out there. Hopefully by now it's available commercially because I want one !!
Brilliant! Brilliant! Thanks again for an awesome review Steve. Loved your story while you were applying the vanes, made for an entertaining yet still informative video. Top Man.
Has one for 1,5 year now. just loving it. No more vanes all over the arrow, but on the right spot. Be aware if it has to be send to Europe. Customs cost more than the device...
I have had one for about a year and It's awesome for my spin wing installation. I absolutely love it. There's a few different options for different types of vanes as well that can be purchased as an option.
I move my wing thing. Couple mods help. The newer vane holder doesn’t hold the vane well on the leading edge because the front of the clamp is just hanging. So I tape the leading edge so it holds the babe better. I also stuck a hard edge on the trailing edge so that my spin wing butt up against it. So they are mounted at the same distance from the back of the arrow.
@@stickboy6772 It is a very different idea to a normal jig, very simple, the clamp at the end is a very clever idea as it keeps the shaft in the jig. Sometimes with a normal jig when you fletch the arrow moves. I stuck a few packets of vanes now with no issues.
@@thearcherylab the product is very impressive. God bless you. What is also remarkable is how light it seems. On that note I saw the one in aluminium. Is that aluminium model still available? Is the leg under the clip detachable? If the leg is detachable it looks like it would fit very well in a quiver and people could even use it at the range if they choose to do so. Pocket knife, little plastic tape, some veins in a zip bag and no more problems. Heck depending on the diameter people could even carry the jig inside one of the quiver’s tubes if they so desire. Anyway great product and a breath of fresh air in an over engineered landscape. It is to the point it reminds me of an anecdote about NASA spending millions to develop a pen to work in zero gravity and the Russians just using a pencil… Any plans to make it work with compound vanes too? Anyway, the product is brilliant.
@@AdalbertoMaggioJunior The jig is designed to be taken down to fit into a toolbox. The arm can be taken off for storage or placed back on in the reverse direction for left-handers. Both black and the older silver version are aluminium. The jig weighs under 200 grams. Spin-type compound vanes such as Jet6 SV, XS Wings and Spider vanes work on the jig.
A lot of people don't want to sell the big shops because they think they make more money by selling to the customer direct but correct but if they think about it you can drive the customer a lot better than they can and less they got a really big name and people know them that's where people lose their own business
Steven there's a bunch of heartless m************ on this Earth all they care about is their shelf that's it and I'm gonna tell you something buddy I like the way you talk in your videos don't worry about what These other people say a lot of people like it honestly I see people talk about it all the time on here
Yes not breathing well. This was in the morning. At night I will wake because I can't breath. Getting better though, that day I shot a State record. So not 100% but getting better.

@@lordcarnorjax8599 Great idea! Jake has a lot of credibility in the archery community because of his expertise on equipment and shooting technique

I never saw it. Thanks

You know I have been struggling with this problem for years. 8)
I'm not sure about the spin wings, but I definitely will try out those arrows in your last video. Thanks Steven 🏹🤠👍
You look and sound really hammered. Take care and hope to see you get well soon.
He always sounds the same and I don't think he drinks...regularly anyway.
Got one about six months ago best thing ever perfect every time 👍👍👍

Brilliant! Just ordered one! 👍👍
Been using for a while now. Love it
“Can you put me on the same target with that really hot girl?” 🙈🙈🙈😂😂
When will pandarus release their vanes? I am interested in the fabric tape.
That looks great, if you can get them in I’ll definitely get one.
Where did you get it from ?
@@3269111 I got one from the maker Archery Lab in Perth WA Australia.
I am curious, not arguing, on how this setup, cool as it is, is different than the standard jigs.
Standard jigs do not support spin-type vanes such as spin wings or XS wings. Future we will be supporting normal straight vanes and feathers.
@@thearcherylab doh, dumb on my part. amazing it took so long for someone to create this jig.
thanks, great video, interesting as always.

Ebay is showing $90 price. $50 to $70 through some shops
Any source of the .stls available? Would love to try this thingy ;-)
hi sir can i install spin vanes even without tools?
Just use Socx and put the tape and vanes on by hand.
The Juicero of spin vanes.
There's potential to fixing an annoying issue. Seems a bit rough and just adding more steps.
First I’ve seen of this product. It is ingenious. Any chance of a partnership between you and the maker of these? Or you representing him?
The word is out 🤫

I have made something similar, just a bit better in my opinion. Contact me if you are interested in selling them.
