The exterior feels very old school too, very similar to the old Civics with a splash of VW Golf about it. If I had to have an electric car this is probably what I'd go for :)
They did that with previous Gen Honda City as well where users complained about touch buttons for AC they couldn't control so in new Honda City they put again the buttons.

An software update will solve the problems. Place the gps on driver screen and you can use the middle screen for aquarium wallpaper. Also let your front passenger having with their own screen.

Definitely not. It will age horribly when screen tech would go forward. This is by no means a timeless interior, because it doesn't have something interesting like beautifully sculpted dashboard with good aesthetic proportions, just screens and SCREENS (it looks worse than in a Tesla, because instead of one big screen, you have shitton of them, which is even more deconcentrating). Its an interior that has been done with a dumb logic ELECTRIC=ELECTRONIC=TOUCH SCREEN
Most cars today are info overload, the thing is they cramp everything up in the infotainment system and the cluster. Now, this little fella has basically two screens for the other person in front. Maybe a little fewer things around would be nice, but not like Teslas. Everything inside an iPad... I couldn't.
The blind spot cameras are amazing you really see the other lane all the way back. For newer cars that have the bad blind spots and thick rear pillars Especially for older drivers who peripheral vision isn’t what it once was these are awesome.
@@bizzybezz problem is when the camera gets glitchy for these “side mirror” screens, there should be a backup. Honda’s cameras gets glitchy at times at unexpected times.

Step the gas where it's safe, don't risk around, some signs where it says 30km/h limit were put for a reason, not to make fun.

Hands down one of the most fun intuitive EV’s I’ve ever tried out. Previous king was BMW i3. Both rather short on range, but very likeable and driveable - which unfortunately is not the case with many computers on wheels nowadays 😝
It is so eerie to hear the only sound in the cabin to be the hands brushing over the power steering. Plus the cabin is made very nicely. And highway performace is impressive. I'm very much interested in this car now.

I was surprised by the initial quietness in the parking lot against those speed bumps. But at 5:47 - bumpy road, that really blew me away. Didn't expect an electric mini-cooper-like car to handle a dirt road so well. I mean really, I'm not sure if I'd drive my CX5 so fast over there 😂

@@sushivision I was mistaken I think. Honda announced an EV planned for the States code named Prologue. I think it’s supposed to be an SUV though. On a bright note, that buzz the Honda e has stirred has gotten the attention of the car’s lead developer. And when the e was initially being planned, the engineers were developing the car with the US in mind before executives axed those plans. I have hope that with news of the Prologue and the popularity of the e, Honda gives us the awesome little hatchback as well.

Or another solution would be to use a camera that would display the road on the screen. Just like how it is done in the Honda for the side view mirrors.
The interior of this Honda is so comfy cosy, home-couch-like, that it will put an end to people road raging. People will not get frustrated on the way home becuase they are running late because that Honda's interior IS home.
@@presidential3228 Camera mirror = very tiny field of view, less resolution than your eyes in a mirror, you cannot adjust where you want to see by quickly moving your head, when car is of, you don't have them anymore. A big no no no as well

Edit: actually seeing the video properly, even by watching on my phone I can see that actually the mirrors are easy to use. Blind spot monitoring included also. They really aren’t that unfunctional from what I see. Plus the driver didn’t look to struggle with it either. I think he did it justice tbh.
@@presidential3228 not really. I got 2016 Honda Civic EX and the reason i wanted EX is blind spot camera and better rims. And I gotta tell you blind spot camera does much better job than your eyes. It has fisheye lens like a backup camera and show you the whole blind zone and more. If they used the same camera here for ultrawide view it would be much better than your regular mirrors.

It feels like it accelerates faster than you would expect and you soon are at 75+ km/h without noticing it... I like it :D

@@humphreybrogart8392 that really doesn't mean much, snow or rain just because a surface is hydrophobic doesn't mean the lens won't be obscured.
@@jaker2843 I test drove one in pretty hard rain and there was no water on the lens. Far better than normal mirrors that get cover in water droplets and are really hard to see.
There are videos with night drive. In my opinion, it's even better than normal mirrors

@@jayasmrmore3687 you'll see through it since it would be transparent. In some cars, you can see the navigation and the speed through a head up display on the windshield.
Or another solution would be to use a camera that would display the road on the screen. Just like how it is done in the Honda for the side view mirrors.
In the future, the car will drive itself, and the windows will be giant screens. It'll be like being in a theater.

The interior of this Honda is so comfy cosy, home-couch-like, that it will put an end to people road raging. People will not get frustrated on the way home becuase they are running late because that Honda's interior IS home.

@@presidential3228 Camera mirror = very tiny field of view, less resolution than your eyes in a mirror, you cannot adjust where you want to see by quickly moving your head, when car is of, you don't have them anymore.

@@maximexc1299 possibly. I have no idea how practical the mirrors are. But to see it - it’s cool. It’s a top end car thing. Quite nice to see it in a more affordable car for the everyday man.
Edit: actually seeing the video properly, even by watching on my phone I can see that actually the mirrors are easy to use. Blind spot monitoring included also. They really aren’t that unfunctional from what I see. Plus the driver didn’t look to struggle with it either. I think he did it justice tbh.

@@presidential3228 not really. I got 2016 Honda Civic EX and the reason i wanted EX is blind spot camera and better rims. And I gotta tell you blind spot camera does much better job than your eyes. It has fisheye lens like a backup camera and show you the whole blind zone and more. If they used the same camera here for ultrawide view it would be much better than your regular mirrors.
