      She is indeed an impressive ship!
      While HMS Victory is oldest ship still in commission, I believe you guys have the USS Constitution that is the oldest ship in commission that’s still afloat… Would be cool to get to see that ship one day.

    Oh wow they built a whole maintenance facility around her. I have been holding off on seeing her again until the refit is done but it actually looks super interesting you can see her original frames. They should take a part of the rotten wood cut it into a billion flakes and sell them framed to help pay for the refit. Not all of it just obe beam or so, the rest should be preserved like ver original sail and displayed.

      It’s an amazing ship, we went on a spur of the moment trip and didn’t know it was going to be covered over. Was some 30 years ago that I went to see Victory, only real memory of being there is some old photos… Will be nice to go see it once we can see Victory in all her glory.

      @@thatkarlsmith Yeah, for me it's the reason I'm fascinated by age of sail and now build ship models. Warrior and Mary Rose are worth a visit too.
