The 25th anniversary All Stars was a limited production too, although they apparently did another run a few years later. Limiting the digital version of the game like that feels kinda pointless though.
Also the fact that this is four minutes and twenty seconds long is... interesting

It's only available for purchase from now until the end of March 2021, if you bought the game digitally, you can still redownload it after March 2021 at any time. (Assuming the Switch e-shop servers are still online, which they probably will be until at earliest 2030)
Do you know if this is confirmed at all? I'm actually really curious about it. Obviously it makes sense but are there any examples of games being taken off the E-Shop and you can still download it?

"Please note: Super Mario 3D All-Stars can only be purchased until March 31st 2021. Owners can still play its entire contents after this date has passed, and can also redownload it from Nintendo eShop if the software has been archived."

At first I was bummed out it was limited. But here is a cool opportunity.
What if instead of asking for Super Mario 3D All stars to be here forever why not instead try to get more competitions made like this in limited quantities?
I mean I would kill to have a used Cartridge of a Nintendo racing Collection of Mario Kart double Dash, F-zero GX & wave Race: Blue Storm
I also wouldn't mind doing a video Collaboration with you if you want
