My favourites ( in vintage bottles): -Gris clair ( fantastic lavender and ironing) -Five o'clock au gingembre ( so refined smooth Spices) -Fille en Aiguilles ( my all times christmas perfume) Love them so much, but I hate the new prices... Your sélection is excellent 🙏👌
Wow thank you! I didn't know his perfumes as well as you do but I also love the evocative ones... Strange ones that tell a story. I only have Ambre Sultan which I love and have wanted to smell Tubérose Crominelle and Fille-- now I am more inspired- thank you!
Hello Sam. I love Serge Lutens. My favorite is Fille en aiguilles. I wear this one every Christmas day. To me it's Christmas in a bottle. Second is Five o'clock au gingembre. I also have Arabie, Chergui. I'd like to acquire some of the ones you mentioned here.
Serge Lutens... No matter how many years go by, no matter how many trends come and go, it always remains a benchmark, the undisputed number one in the world of perfumery. A house of reference like no other. Its compositions border on perfection, always finding the exact perfect balance between clean, luminous notes and animalic, seductive ones; between photorealistic natural notes and industrial, modern accords. Whatever note you’re looking for, Serge Lutens offers the best interpretation. Looking for jasmine? A La Nuit is perfect photorealism, while Fils de Joie delivers a seductive jasmine worthy of the Queen of Sheba. An amber? Ambre Sultan gives you a herbal, dense, majestic amber, while La Couche du Diable offers a dry, arid, desert-like amber. Hyacinth? Bas de Soie perfectly captures the angelic purity of hyacinths on a frosty winter morning. A rose? Sa Majesté La Rose presents it in all its glory: grand, velvety, majestic, dark red with golden honeyed highlights worthy of a queen. Or if you prefer a younger, more modern take, there’s La Fille de Berlin young fresh pink rose sprinkled with pink pepper. Tuberose? Tubereuse Criminelle strikes the perfect balance between a realistic, carnal, and lustful tuberose, seductive with its animalic notes, as natural as a panther lurking in the foliage, in contrast with a fresh, dense menthol industrial almost Avant Garde note-like mint candies melting by a fire. Perfect for the modern vampire seeking their next victim. I could go on forever. This house, with its gothic elegance and masterfully constructed formulas, crafted with the precision of a watchmaker, is the one that suits me best. I adore it ❤❤
Btw...your collection is absolutely fantastic!!! Its practically the same as mine 😂😂 we are completely in line in our taste (which I shall say, it's exquisite 🧐). I am missing some of your faves, but I know them well and they are most definitely in my wishlist. They have been for years
Thank you for this wonderful review of these perfumes that make me travel… something that, in my opinion, few perfume houses manage to evoke. And congratulations on your impeccable French pronunciation, unlike most TH-camrs.
I was looking forward to this video for sooo long 🥰🥰 Serge is my most favorite house, I am truly obsessed with his style. Really enjoy all the moods it translates and I think that is why it is beloved. These perfumes really talk. My first love was Santal Majuscule, but I got many in the end with the latest being Tubereuse Criminelle 😍 When you talk about them, I realized that their latest business problems might come from the fact they try to be more approachable and mainstream. I think it clashes with their persona and aesthetic, which I think won’t ever be truly mass appealing.
I loved your video! You have given me a context for the Serge Lutens line, which I never had before. I did not realize the connection with Morocco. I visited Morocco in May so I can understand the relationship to the fragrances, such as Cedre for example. I am still working my way through a set of samples and love several. I think my first purchase is going to be L'Orpheline. I don't care that it's a cult fragrance. It's evocative of Canada in winter for me. Like you, I wear fragrance for the feelings it gives me.
What a treat to watch you share your beloved Serge Lutens collection with us🙏 - teaching us, while also sharing endearing personal little tid-bits & stories along the way - which we all absolutely soaked-right-up & thoroughly enjoyed!!❤ I too believe perfume comes to me by chance, when it’s meant to be… and now SL has edged onto my radar. We’ll see if by fate either Diam Blond or Santal Majuscule ends up in my collection in 2025😉 - both sound gorgeous!! All my best to you, Sam in the New Year💐🫶💕
It’s so nice to see you review again and a great start to 2025 🙃, I own Fille en Aiguilles but hope to add another one , maybe Chergui , Happy New year and all the best to you 🥂.
Omg!!! I was 15 when my grandmother would wear Feminite du Bois by Shiseido. Its glorious ❤❤❤❤ that fragrance and Zen in the black bottle are ultra classically feminine
Thank you for this fantastic review Sam 👏👏 My faves form this great brand: Ambre Sultan, Santal Majuscule, Feminité du Bois and Datura Noir ❤❤❤ old classics, before so called niche fragrance wave 😉 just hope Mr Lutens will leave his heritage to someone deserving his trust…. Would hate to see all of those discontinued by some Greedy conglomerate 😢
Thank you for bringing a smile to my day- my loves are Chene, Fille en Aguilles, Chergui, Fumerie Turque. Miss the bell jars but grateful i still have mine. Glad to see a new video from you!
I love Serge Lutens!!! Thank you for going over your collection. I have multiple Lutens fragrances too, but when I saw you bring out Daim Blonde, I was so happy! I am saving my pennies to get a bottle, but couldn't wait, so I had to track down a decant in the meantime. I live in the states, so it wasn't easy, but I recently got my decant. Again, thanks for taking the time to go over this incredible, original, emotion invoking, perfume house.
In Poland ( where I live) Serge Lutens is very popular. I also have his fragrances in my collection :) Rousse It was my favorite for years 😍 I still have it: Fille en Aiguilles, Chene, Santal de Mysore, Santal Blanc, Serge Noire, Five O'Clock, Arabie, Jeux de Peau, L’Eau Serge Lutens, Chergui, El Attarine :)
I really enjoyed watching this, Sam, to bring in the new year. Happy New Year 🎉 thank you for sharing your personal journey with us. This is what I love about perfume passion; raw and straight from the heart! I am a self confessed perfume wimp, so whilst I can appreciate the beauty of Serge's I have smelled in store, I have only sampled Fils de Joie and Five O' Clock au Gingembre. They are actually stunning but quite powerful for me to wear. I hope the brand might be in my perfume future when my tastes have developed more. I want to try Daim Blond now. And Fille en Aiguilles, love pine 💚
Thank you so much. I am a fan of Serge Lutens and own six bottles three of which you mentioned, now adding a few more to my wish list. Wishing you a happy and blessed New Year:)
I bought Fils de Joie 2 years ago based on a video you made that featured it, and I’m so glad I did! One of my favs in my collection and I totally agree with your description. I think Serge Lutens is being phased out here in the states, so I’m glad I was able to grab the largest bottle at 50% off.
Thank you for this list, Sam... Serge Lutens was also the brand that initiated my adoration for artistic perfumery. I want to mention a top 3, but it is impossible so here's my top 5 : Sarrasins, Fumerie Turque, Tubéreuse Criminelle, Veilleur de Nuit and Santal Blanc
Thank you Sam, great overview. Appreciate your passion for all of these. What’s crazy is I have more bottles and decants from this house than anything else, yet there is very little overlap in our collections! So much to explore with SL. I cherish all of mine ❤️ and will have them forever and ever. It makes me sad to see so many of the mainstream YT folks decluttering these beauties. Happy New Year! 🎉
Happy New Year Sam ! Serge Lutens , un bois vanille was my first buy outside mainstream. I wore it a lot as also Daim Blond that I still love with Cuir Mauresque as well . I would like to revisit the brand now and try to find a new love !
I blind brought Fils De Joie... and fell in LOVEEEEEE. Now ai am sampling all the rest.. I am so happy there is a perfumer that I can go to to find original scents.❤❤
Regarding Féminité du bois, the Shiseido version is so good that I would advise to locate a sample to try. Sadly, the Lutens version is really not as good. That said, there is so many Lutenses that are special. His artistic vision is unparalleled. My favorite Lutens... Hard to say, but I love his moody florals.
I have both Shiseido and Lutens (old bottle) and they are gorgeous. I could say Shiseido is a bit ‘softer’ or ‘gentler’ but both are made geniusly. Both made by master Sheldrake. Haven’t tried new bottles.
I’ve been waiting for this video ever since you teased the possibility of it when you reviewed Borneo. Borneo is my fave and your description is spot on, a worm crawling into a deep cold earth, love it! Great job!
Im 24 and i discovered Serge right after approaching this world and it has been such an epiphany ever since. Visiting his store at palais royal in Paris, spending hours smelling those creations. It’s just pure emotions in bottles, nothing more to say. It speaks a language I’ve always known but it’s such a discovery every time. My 3 favourites as well as the 3 that I own are Fille en Auguilles, Ambre Sultan and l’Orpheline. Really really curious about Fils de Joie after your description; whether others that i really like that comes to my mind are Encens et Lavande, Fleur d’orange as well as Fille de Berlin, but prob I would wear only the first one mentioned. What’s funny is that i know that each time im going to visit his boutique Im going to find something different calling my name. The only one that i 100% would not wear and that i dislike of his collection is Santal Majescule, i could not even explain how much i disliked it that time i sprayed it on.
Loved watching this Sam 🤗 I too adore serge lutens although admittedly some can be a little bit challenging to me. Unfortunately years ago I sold my original bottle of datura noir 😭 you have an incredible collection ♥️
Do you remember those wax samples they used to do? So cool. I enjoyed so many of them. I was lucky enough to work near a place that stocked almost everything they made and saw the collection grow over the years. I’m not sure what my favourite is, maybe Chene. Love the video! Happy new year! 🎉
Lovely video, thank you for sharing your collection! I am such a big Serge Lutens fan. ETA: My favorites! Okay, let me explain lol, I'm old, I was a teenager in the 80's. My favorite Lutens (and one of my favorites of all time) is Nombre Noir. I have a bottle and it packs a punch like most 80's frags do. I am magically wearing shoulder pads, black lipstick, and listening to New Wave music every time I smell it. #2 is Fils de Joie, that stuff is heavenly, pure bliss. Addictive beauty in a bottle. #3 is Chergui. What he created with that is just iconic. But I have to admit I have never, ever smelled Arabie! I am so curious. I might have to find a sample. It sounds gorgeous.
great to see this collection - am also a fan of SL havin´Chergui (true to be so much ahead of time), Ambre Sultan, Santal Majuscule, Five O´Clock au Gingembre
I just love your videos and how you entertain and entice me to go exploring new scents. I love your picks and I have explored new scents based on your suggestions. Thank you for all the work you put into explaining each scent and now I want to explore this collection to experience each of your suggestions! I recently (earlier this year) had a long layover in Morocco while traveling and I fell in love with all the oils and scents. I purchased a nice bottle of perfume and I get soo many compliments every time I wear it! It’s Garaham ( which was a suggested scent from one of the nice sales ladies that helped me. The best layover ever had and I want to be transported back! 🥰
I am listening to this whilst wearing Sidi Bel Abbes, one that you opened my eyes to! That is definitely up there as one of my faves. I of course adore De Produndis which was one I smelled for the first time in 2024. Santal Majuscule, Gris Clair and Ambre Sultan are also some of my faves that I have had for several years now. Thank you for sharing your deep connection with these works of art, Sam ❤
@ yes I totally understand, it’s a big commitment these days to buy those bell jars! Thankfully I was able to pick up a partially used bottle which was far less painful!
HAPPY NEW YEAR Sam🥳🥰🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺 My first Serge was only recent ,scoring Boxeuses in the Bell Jar, it’s so darned elegant and then my second being Chergui 😍. I am definitely looking to get my nose on more as your tastes are very akin to mine and I really love the stronger boy boy smells as they work beautifully on my skin.boss b but still feminine❤️🧡 Tuberose,on the other hand;has a painful flyspray up my nose torture, then migraine within 10 minutes, the 90’s were agonyfor me as it was everywhere like a toxic cloud 😭 And Sandalwood on my skin dries down like Smokey prosciutto 😂🤷🏻♀️go figure loll. Thank you Sam , you’re awesome🥰🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺Stani Wishing you only the best for 2025 and always❤️💜🧡🥳🧡💜❤️
The dry down of Chergui is one of the best dry downs to exist, imho! SL is the largest collection of bottles in my fragrance closet. I also wear everything I own. MKK. ….❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. It’s so comforting to me.
Thank yo so much for sharing your Serge Lutens perfumes and thoughts. I can remember walking into the department store and seeing the new launch of Shiseido's Feminite' Du Bois and being totally entranced that I bought a bottle right away and several after that one. I had never smelled anything like it and it was for women, yet spoke to my masculine side as it were. Soon after, in my perfumista decant/split group, this new Niche brand was all the rage; Serge Lutens, so of course I bought his Bois series and still have them. We had to blind buy or join group buys to get a sample decant. My bottles all date to 1992 or shortly after and the label has a little art deco "three buildings in a row" icon with Paris under it. I think that is the oldest label honestly. I also do have the white and black SL icon labels which I think are second generation till current. I wish I had been able to smell Iris Silver Mist and a few others you have. Daim Blond is an absolutely beautiful perfume and I wish I had bought a full bottle. Is it not discontinued? So many I have now are discontinued, sadly. I have about 1 ml left in an old decant bottle of Daim Blond from back in my early swapping days, when we all did it via group emails! Sarrasins and Boxeuses were pretty good ones too. Serge Lutens is and will always be my favorite niche perfume house but it's hard to get the perfumes now in the US. No other niche brand speaks to me quite like his perfumes do. oxJulia
This brand is emotional, the man (SL) behind is a creative all time genius, a man from another galaxy yet very "human" , a main character of a movie about perfume to make... I started my love for perfumes beginning from his Gris Clair and Vierge de Fer. So proud of my bottles (I own quite an interesting amount)! Thanks for this video.
Happy new year, fabulous video of one of my first niche brand along with l’Artisan in the early 2000. I had in the older bottles Un Lys and Rousse which I lost in a move unfortunately. Now I could only get them back at the Palais Royal in the bell jars.😢Currently own and wear Ambre Sultan, Ecrin de Fumée and Datura Noir. But you make me want to re-smell Arabie…
I own several from this house but my favorite is Chergui for fall/winter. It has been a favorite since I discovered it. De profundis is my favorite 😮for spring/summer. I am currently hankering for Borneo 1834 and would love to try Tuberose Ciminelle. So many gorgeous scents from this house!
Thanks for the video, such a beautiful collection! I'm wondering, though, if you've ever managed to compare Serge Lutens fragrances in their current versions to their previous iterations. I'm typically not one to lament over reformulations, but with how notorious SL is in the community for that very reason, I'm kind of second guessing whether some of them are worth it, mainly based on what I've read. I do own some Palais Royal bottles but I'm quite happy with some of the current ones even though I haven't really had the chance to compare them side by side. Just can't really pull the trigger knowing that there might be "something better" out there, but chasing old bottles can be quite a hassle. Finally, all the best in the new year, wishing you good health and happiness! ☺
Thank you! I think that if you are one who knew the older formulation, then a newer version would be disappointing. Personally, I decide not to (deliberately) look back for that reason. My Daim Blond is just as lovely to me today. The ones that I hear are different now, well - if I like it as it is myself, then I buy it. 🌹
Seems that we have the same views on fate. 😉🤲 Waiting ready with open hands and silent gratitude. Loved your descriptions Sam. An amazing collection indeed. Chergui was certainly a hype beast back in the day! ✨ Wishing you a glorious new year full of adventure, intrigue and fragrant delights. 😘
Ahhh, Serve Lutens is my favorite. I fell in love with Feminite du Bois around 2009, though my first purchase was Daim Blond a few years later (poor college student).
Finaly 💖 Happy New Year dear Sam! ✨🥂💛💫 From the member of Lutens cult 😅 I’m waiting for Santal de Mysore to join my Lutens’ family. I wish Fille En Aiguilles and Fils de Joie to join too. Still my favorite is Fleurs d’Oranger, I’ve started my Serge journey with this beautiful creation. Second was Ambre Sultan. No matter how many perfumes I try and cherish, always come back to Lutens and L’Artisan old ones. Thank you for this video, really great one for New Year 🌟
Fumerie Turque was one of the first two niche fragrances I bought (the other was Tauer's LADDM). I got it before it was consigned to the more expensive, skyscraper bottles. I still love it. The only other Lutens in my collection is 5 O'Clock Au Gigembre. Unlike FT, this was a blind buy, years later. It's a less showy fragrance than the early SL's I'd sampled before picking up FT. At first it disappointed me a bit. But after a few wearings, I came to realize what a fabulous, subtle fragrance it is. I look forward to exploring more Lutens fragrances in the future.
Oh yes love a few from them. I only really started exploring them more last year. Sam musk 🤣 I am sure you'd be a millionaire from that. Yes I absolutely adored Tubereuse C it was stunning. What an incredible collection there too. I've never seen so many in one place, uv added to the try list. Happy new year
Serge Lutens is almost impossible to find now in the US (discontinued in North America), but I want to try all of the fragrances. So far, I have only Fleurs D’oranger, which I loved at first spray and continue to adore. I happen to be wearing it today! My next must-try is De Profundis.
Amazing collection. Unfortunately, I wasn't "there" for the golden era of Lutens but it's probably one of my favorite houses. And looking at the prices today, I really wish I had the opportunity to buy bottles back in 2010 lmao. And now they're discontinuing the Gratte-Ciels so I gotta hustle and buy at least a couple of my favs before they're only available in the even more expensive bell jars 😭 My favorite Lutens are probably Muscs Koublai Khan, Borneo 1834, and Cuir Mauresque. But of course there are others I really like such as Chergui, Cedre, and Sarrasins.
I haven’t bought anything recently but own and love many full bottles of Serge Lutens fragrances including: Feminite du Bois La Fille de Berlin Daimler blond Five o’clock au gingembre Un Bois vanille Boxeuses (in bell jar) Ambre sultan (prefer on my husband)
Not even five minutes into your video & I had to run upstairs, frantically searching for my Shiseido Feminite du Bois (original bottle from the '90's). I never knew the connection but, oh the memories so dear came flooding back. My Serge Lutens' fragrance is Daim Blond in OG bottle. In fact, the label fell off some time ago & I have to glue back on. My other Lutens in my collection are: Sa Majeste La Rose & Santal Majuscule. Sam! I missed you so much but that's my fault😂 Happy, Happy New Year🥳 I wish you all the best!
Love this house and so many of the fragrances but I think my top favorites are Chypre Rouge, Encens et Lavande, Tubereuse Criminelle, Jeux de Peau, & La Fille de Berlin. Gloriousness! Oh and also Rose de Nuit, a very vampy animalic rose. Mine is from a bell jar and very old. A dab or two is all that's needed, it packs a punch and lasts all day.
wonderful video I follow you regularly because you are a smart, emotional and honest person and so authentic ❤ I really appreciate Lutens I love Jeux de peau and feminite do bois Also Santal Majuscule and De profundis and Datura noir In summer I wear fresh Fleur De citronier I have a feeling that I might like Diam blond and I'm thinking about buying blind is the newer bell jar version as good as the old one?
Delightful video! Do you find any similarity between Daim Blonde and NG’s Cuir Velours? It’s so difficult to get a nose on SL in the States! Thank you again and Happy New Year! 🕊️
I loved this!!! 🥰🥰🥰I am only a few yeשrs inאo the fragrance world (wearing perfume from a young age but didn't know anything about it....) Serge Lutens is my favorite niche brand , I love that this braמds has different and unique scents, each making me feel something different My favorite perfume is Chergui ,it was love t first sniff , and as my collection grew, I found other beautiful scents The bewitcing Fils de Joie , the more subtle alluring La Dompteuse Encagée, the delicious Five O'Clock Au Gingembre, the dark and warm Écrin de Fumée, and others... can't wait to fall for more scents from this brand in the future.
Hi 😊 I just discovered your channel and I truly appreciate your knowledge and the way you describe fragrances! I’m curious if you ever tried L’Orpheline and Nuit de Cellophane!
The original Feminite du Bois is sooo much better than the actual version. It was so unique back then and I loved it so much. I cannot stand the "new" version.
There’s definitely something otherworldly about SL perfumes, maybe it’s the marketing, but every scent I’ve tried so far makes me think it was made in an old French apothecary, by decedents of forest fae. Fils de Joie is pure skill of sorcery.
I adore A la Nuit...Do you happen to know if the version of it in the bell jar is exactly like the original? On another note, I just bought my first bottle of no 19 and every time I wear it I think of your Mom... now I am on the hunt for the perfume.
Serge Lutens is my favorite here are the ones of my collection in order of preference: La myrrhe ;De profundis ;;bois sepia ;BOIS ET FRUIT Sa majesté la rose ;Dompteuse encagée ;La fille tour de fer ;Dent de lait ;Bois de violette ;Louve ;La fille de Berlin ;La religieuse ;Iris silver mist ; Vitriol d’œillet ; Clair de musc ; L’orpheline;Miel de bois (no longue available); Sarrasins ; Rose de nuit .
Wow Sam you’re one of my favorite fragrances enthusiasts!!! I have no idea where to try in Los Angeles.. Do you know the one that smells like bread? Are any blind buy worthy? Happy New Year

I bought Fils de Joie 2 years ago based on a video you made that featured it, and I’m so glad I did! One of my favs in my collection and I totally agree with your description. I think Serge Lutens is being phased out here in the states, so I’m glad I was able to grab the largest bottle at 50% off.
@@LadyBug1383 oh, lucky! Thank you so much. I do hope they come back to the US. 🌹
Thank you for sharing these beauties with us. Your taste is admirable 🌹
Those are iconic
Love that you make a video about this beautiful brand 🥰 I adore La Religieuse, Fils de Joie, Chergui, L'orpheline & Santal majuscule a lot!
Great reviews Sam! My favorite from Lutens is Bas de soie 😍
Thank you. Well that is probably because they aren’t very “current”. But glad to hear you were there too ;) 🌹
Happy New Year Sam ! Serge Lutens , un bois vanille was my first buy outside mainstream. I wore it a lot as also Daim Blond that I still love with Cuir Mauresque as well . I would like to revisit the brand now and try to find a new love !
Monika another fragrance reviewer mentioned serge lutens several times and now you have me going down the rabbit hole. Thanks for the video.
Serge Lutens is amazing ❤ I have been buying since they came out. Arabie was the first gourmand I fell in love with.
I love Serge Lutens. My first niche perfume was Surge Lutens Nuit de Cellophane.
Good to see you.
Much respect.
_the best of everything for you in 2025_
I’ve been waiting for this video ever since you teased the possibility of it when you reviewed Borneo. Borneo is my fave and your description is spot on, a worm crawling into a deep cold earth, love it! Great job!
@@kiam6967 thank you so much 🌹
My first Lutens about 2009 were:
ROUSSE, DOUCE AMÈRE & LOUVE.
Now discontinued or in the high priced bell jars
I love your videos and the way you describe stuff.
I have more SL than any other brand. I adore. This has been a pleasure to watch you gush over and fondle your bottles. ❤
@@breannacarels6479 thank you so much 🌹
Loved watching this Sam 🤗 I too adore serge lutens although admittedly some can be a little bit challenging to me. Unfortunately years ago I sold my original bottle of datura noir 😭 you have an incredible collection ♥️
Thank you, Pika. That’s a shame, but it’s best not too think too much about perfumes lost 🫶
Do you remember those wax samples they used to do? So cool. I enjoyed so many of them. I was lucky enough to work near a place that stocked almost everything they made and saw the collection grow over the years. I’m not sure what my favourite is, maybe Chene. Love the video! Happy new year! 🎉
Thank you so much for sharing this memory. A wonderful fragrance, that Chêne!
My ALL time favourite house. I was introduced to serge in 2014 that's when my love for niche started!
I love to hear it 🌹
great to see this collection - am also a fan of SL havin´Chergui (true to be so much ahead of time), Ambre Sultan, Santal Majuscule, Five O´Clock au Gingembre
Thank you, thank you, Cherie! Sidi Abel Abbés I’ve been too stingy to shell out for, but perhaps one day 🌹
@ yes I totally understand, it’s a big commitment these days to buy those bell jars! Thankfully I was able to pick up a partially used bottle which was far less painful!
I think I would own lots of them if they weren't rather expensive... Right now my first one is Chergui and I love it deeply!
HAPPY NEW YEAR Sam🥳🥰🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
My first Serge was only recent ,scoring Boxeuses in the Bell Jar, it’s so darned elegant and then my second being Chergui 😍.
I am definitely looking to get my nose on more as your tastes are very akin to mine and I really love the stronger boy boy smells as they work beautifully on my skin.boss b but still feminine❤️🧡
Tuberose,on the other hand;has a painful flyspray up my nose torture, then migraine within 10 minutes, the 90’s were agonyfor me as it was everywhere like a toxic cloud 😭
And Sandalwood on my skin dries down like Smokey prosciutto 😂🤷🏻♀️go figure loll.
Thank you Sam , you’re awesome🥰🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺Stani
Wishing you only the best for 2025 and always❤️💜🧡🥳🧡💜❤️
I have the Bell Jar of Boxeuses as well! Love its leathery goodness 😊.
The dry down of Chergui is one of the best dry downs to exist, imho! SL is the largest collection of bottles in my fragrance closet. I also wear everything I own. MKK. ….❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. It’s so comforting to me.
Love these collection videos! Happy new year!
Thank you, otherwise it’s just pure consumerism, isn’t it? 😂
Happy New Year ✨
Great reviews. You explained their vibe sooo well!
This Year I will buy alot from this brand . Great Video 📹 👍 👏
Thank you. They are great to me.
Nice selection. Have you tried his new La Fille Tour De Fer? It’s really beautiful..
Powdery violet Iris and a dash of rose. Divine
I’m so envious you have Daim Blond
Ahhh, Serve Lutens is my favorite. I fell in love with Feminite du Bois around 2009, though my first purchase was Daim Blond a few years later (poor college student).
Finaly 💖 Happy New Year dear Sam! ✨🥂💛💫 From the member of Lutens cult 😅
I’m waiting for Santal de Mysore to join my Lutens’ family. Thank you for this video, really great one for New Year 🌟
Thank you so much for sharing. Your favorite is a star 🌟 happy new year
Fumerie Turque was one of the first two niche fragrances I bought (the other was Tauer's LADDM).
And now they're discontinuing the Gratte-Ciels so I gotta hustle and buy at least a couple of my favs before they're only available in the even more expensive bell jars 😭
My favorite Lutens are probably Muscs Koublai Khan, Borneo 1834, and Cuir Mauresque. But of course there are others I really like such as Chergui, Cedre, and Sarrasins.
I only owned the old Version of FEMINITÉ DU BOIS by Shiseido and this was around 2003 ❤
Serge can do no wrong! Fils de Joie is one of my absolute favorites. Chergui is another,
I haven’t bought anything recently but own and love many full bottles of Serge Lutens fragrances including:
Feminite du Bois
La Fille de Berlin
Daimler blond
Five o’clock au gingembre
Un Bois vanille
Boxeuses (in bell jar)
Ambre sultan (prefer on my husband)
In my opinion, all Lutens fragrances were and are LIGHTYEARS ahead their time and the trends❣️
A dab or two is all that's needed, it packs a punch and lasts all day.
wonderful video
I follow you regularly because you are a smart, emotional and honest person and so authentic ❤
I really appreciate Lutens
I love Jeux de peau and feminite do bois
Also Santal Majuscule and De profundis and Datura noir
In summer I wear fresh Fleur De citronier
I have a feeling that I might like Diam blond and I'm thinking about buying blind
is the newer bell jar version as good as the old one?
I really enjoyed this video. This is a house I want to try but not available near me so I cannot test.
My favourite is, to be honest:
FILLE EN AGUILLES.
I own two vintage bottles and they are still intact 🤎
Lucky you, mine is almost empty😉
Delightful video!
Do you find any similarity between Daim Blonde and NG’s Cuir Velours? It’s so difficult to get a nose on SL in the States!
Thank you again and Happy New Year! 🕊️
I loved this!!! 🥰🥰🥰I am only a few yeשrs inאo the fragrance world (wearing perfume from a young age but didn't know anything about it....)
Serge Lutens is my favorite niche brand , I love that this braמds has different and unique scents, each making me feel something different
My favorite perfume is Chergui ,it was love t first sniff , and as my collection grew, I found other beautiful scents
The bewitcing Fils de Joie , the more subtle alluring La Dompteuse Encagée, the delicious Five O'Clock Au Gingembre, the dark and warm Écrin de Fumée, and others... can't wait to fall for more scents from this brand in the future.
Thank you so much for sharing. I think I could wear Serge Lutens alone forever and be pretty happy. Blessings 🌹
Hi 😊 I just discovered your channel and I truly appreciate your knowledge and the way you describe fragrances!
I’m curious if you ever tried L’Orpheline and Nuit de Cellophane!
Thank you so much. Yes, I like both. They are subtle melancholy.
The original Feminite du Bois is sooo much better than the actual version. It was so unique back then and I loved it so much. I cannot stand the "new" version.
Hello. How does Périlleusement Vôtre fall into your rating of bland to brilliant for a rose and oud scent?
There’s definitely something otherworldly about SL perfumes, maybe it’s the marketing, but every scent I’ve tried so far makes me think it was made in an old French apothecary, by decedents of forest fae. Fils de Joie is pure skill of sorcery.
Hi I love that you wear, you don’t collect, I am the same, fragrances are to be worn.
I adore A la Nuit...Do you happen to know if the version of it in the bell jar is exactly like the original? On another note, I just bought my first bottle of no 19 and every time I wear it I think of your Mom... now I am on the hunt for the perfume.
Oh, I forgot CHERGUY. Shared it with my boyfriend in 2008 😊
Serge Lutens is my favorite here are the ones of my collection in order of preference: La myrrhe ;De profundis
;;bois sepia
;BOIS ET FRUIT
Sa majesté la rose
;Dompteuse encagée
;La fille tour de fer
;Dent de lait
;Bois de violette
;Louve
;La fille de Berlin
;La religieuse ;Iris silver mist
; Vitriol d’œillet
; Clair de musc
; L’orpheline;Miel de bois
(no longue available); Sarrasins
; Rose de nuit
.
Sarrasins and Rose de Nuit are still a available in bell jars.
I had the old bottle of Chypre Rouge...i like the brand but they are too dark for my taste. I still love wearing Sarrasins and Chergui tho!
They are moody beauties. Thank you 🌹
Wow Sam you’re one of my favorite fragrances enthusiasts!!! I have no idea where to try in Los Angeles.. Do you know the one that smells like bread? Are any blind buy worthy? Happy New Year
Which one is the most masculine one?
Cedre in palace bottle 😍
Its a shame that Feminite dus bois does not last on me at all😢
You look fabulous sweetheart. Happy New Year 🎉
Thank you, right back at you, sweetheart! HNY 🫶

You forgot to put Borneo 1834 on the list, it's missing.
It’s a shame they pulled out of the USA
Wow - you look so beautiful and elegant 🙏 Many thanks for a very inspiring start to 2025
