Always a interesting show my Friend. Looked like a pretty decent sized Wolverine. Nice footage of that Cat along the road. Damned rights the Northern Canadian winters are tough on that wildlife. Have a good weekend.
the cats i got last season were in better shape then the year before no bite marks or scars, must have thinned enough the winter before to help from getting attacked by the other bigger stronger males
Minnesota Rancher. Thanks for the recap of the season. That last lynx footage sure shows a different perspective of life in the wild. Something very few see and understand. Thanks for sharing!
i try to tell it like it is if they don't grasp it well not sure what else i can do say or show. being a trapper doesn't mean we are without feeling, in fact i think we feel more even though we are taking lives we are helping save lives as well
yes they sure do. when i did my trappers course the instructor said when they are starving just keep catching them because they are going to die anyway but i do leave some around , the strong will survive, seems to be a few more rabbits this year so hopefully they will breed again in the next year or so, good numbers of grouse as well . you know lynx numbers are down when you see lots of grouse, in this part of the country anyway
A large male lynx was found hanging from a telephone pole wire by his teeth near my home in Whitbourne yesterday. I never saw anything like that before. You could find it by doing a google on it. @@bcnewfie494
G’day mate just found your clips bloody fantastic videos mate I hope you bring out many more! Marry Christmas 🎄 and a happy new year your Aussie friends 👍🇦🇺👍🇦🇺🫶🍻
Kind of a bittersweet set of videos. Hope you get to put a few animals on boards this year. I'm sure the fires screwed a lot of land up for the animals and trappers.
Kinda makes me itchy to get going, have only caught 3 fisher so far, but only put a handful of boxes out for a few days. Wasting time looking for a big ol buck now. Bet you catch more wolverine than me this year lol
13 and one bait another bunch wouldn;t touch until it was starting to melt they know my snares and was too late to set traps so i will work on them this winter if i can
Great seeing you again! Always look forward to wstching your videos!
Thanks for sharing, Jason. Always enjoy your videos.
Great stuff. Just want to rub it in,that I'm watching your video from oralando, Fl. Airport and no snow. Lol. Take care.

Always good to see your videos my friend. Lynx have a hard time of it when hare numbers are low.
