What is a Sigma Male?
Most people categorize men into two neat groups: the Alpha, and the Beta male. However, not every man falls under these two well-known types. To put things simply, the term Sigma male actually stands for an introverted Alpha male, who lives his life his own way. He has numerous characteristics of both types and has actually gotten the best traits of an Alpha male and a Beta male. A Sigma man has much more to offer than it might appear at first glance-you just have to dig under the layers because this guy’s personality is way more complex than you might assume. I've always felt the odd one out. Carved my own path. Went to sea at the same age my friends were going to college, to find out more about the world and myself. While polite and chivalrous, I'm not really empathetic. People say I'm aloof and owlish. I don't get involved in group activities, got my own projects and the world I've crafted for myself is too personal to allow others in.
I randomly came upon the idea of a "Sigma" Male and pretty surprised how this fits me 1:1. It's nice to get an idea of "Who I am".
I believe a Sigma is simply an Alpha personality type that has been through plenty of pain, then turning that pain into wisdom. I had a hard life since I was a kid, I've always been on my own. But I try to learn from suffering and grow from it.
Now I am very successful. I have a great job and try to make peace with everyone. Never shy to talk to women, but I noticed I don't have an interest to as of late. The world is in a dark place and I see the future being fairly bleak. Being in a relationship becomes something that would weigh me down should things go south.
Ultimately? This life is a lesson, we learn from it and move on. We must create peace and go our own way when it's required.

As a leo, i really have changed myself. When i was about 13 years old i was dominant and was seeking for attention. Basically an alpha male. people thought i was always happy, because i had an insane amount of energy, but that isn‘t true. after my 14th birthday, i began to understand what type of world i‘m in. Thats where i started to take care of myself. My confidence grew a lot, when i stopped talking much. It doesn‘t matter which zodiac sign u have. Everyone can become a sigma, alpha, delta etc. If you just focuse on yourself. ❤️👑🔱
I’ve always displayed these traits but I do struggle with confidence. People have put me down my entire life for having these traits as they are not valued in US culture. So I need to embrace who I am to develop that confidence.

Very good video and I am glad I was able to find this channel and listen to your take on Sigma males, it as helped place my mind at ease. I admit it for a long time I went through a long course of self hate. I felt troubled with the people around me because how different I was. I was okay being alone, and I was good at getting along with others but often people didn't know how to take me and usually backed away. It started to hurt a lot and I tried to fit in...which made me more confused. Due to social norms, I was really starting to feel the pain of being lonely in highschool. Finally had the courage the ask out this girl who was great, but it didn't last long and it tore me down to the ground. When I became 18, I kind of just stopped trying to fit in and started existing on my own terms. From fixing the things in my mind I needed to and bettering myself in every way. At 24, I feel a lot better with myself, looking back and seeing that most of the past few years, I have had set backs but no real failures. I ended up cutting ties with a good relationship for a long time, but it started to drain me. I keep in contact with her and try to help sometimes but I wanted to walk alone again and focus on myself. A clear alpha male in the company I worked for was kicked out and I ended up taking the strings and was awarded for it and praised for the work I sunk in(the work did slowly degrade me and I did lose around 30 pounds in the scope of 6 months, going from 160-130) Didn't eat or sleep much because I was just laser focused. Work never really bothered me like it did others, and I took that as a heavy strength. Now I even get called very charismatic as a leader in the company I am in now and it has been a short time in this company. It is very odd because I have always thought and was even told I was awkward. I'm still more of an introvert than and extrovert but I am good at playing both sides now just from being myself and continuing to learn. I mainly focus on my own self growth and try to guide others, even help people I don't see anymore just because I feel it strengthens my own resolve. Even at the dawn of this new year, last year was probably the best year of my life, and I have bigger plans this year.
The take away from all of this is, you may feel unwanted and be sad that others don't right away think to look up to you and sometimes look down on you, but don't worry about what others think about you, worry about what you think about you. What is it that you want from your life and that nothing will stop you from reaching your own personal goals. People Be a good person, speak the truth and continue to walk that lonely path brother. You may feel alone, but there are a lot of us lone wolves out there walking around you, you are not alone.

I am a Christian first and foremost. I believe Jesus Himself lead the example of these topics being anyone whom is a true Sigma has a moral compass just as strong as their desire for spending time alone. Omega also likes alone time without walking the same fine line.

Not sure if this fully fits, but I've always been fine to go my own path. Even my profile photo is from like 3am in an empty building, slept on the couches at a trade school multiple times while working through the night. Started a business, moved to a new country by myself, day to day basis I'm usually solo. I can blend in with any crowd. That's a odd way to see people gaining better understanding of themselves. Took me years to break the mold society had placed on me. I used to do things because it's what society told me I was meant to do. I hated it. I truly hated to be another cog. To follow the flow like most.

I was only making an observation about how I found it funny that people are quick to make an assumption that they belong to a group or certain status because of where they "feel" like they should belong. How you think and how you physically act can be 2 completely different things, and maybe for a lot of people here they shouldn't focus on what kind of group they belong to or think they belong to and maybe they should worry more about self improvement. Society is a very tough thing to break away from, its what we're used to so I commend you on your personal journey as well.

No one is born anything, they become what they are today based on their experiences, like the video said, it takes years of experiences to become a sigma so most likely a sigma is a sigma since childhood.

So ... the alpha male definition is getting updated? If so and we are using the Greek alphabet, I would like to claim the next definition of alpha types. I am of the Omega alpha male. I am not a sigma but im not the typical alpha. I could never be a beta but I like pretending to be a beta because its fun. I would rather have a free for all with every man for himself as opposed to a team battle. I get along well with other alpha types and I am usually the first one picked for the team an alpha is building. All alphas of every type would rather have Omega alphas as allys then to face them as enemy's.
I think the jaguar is a better symbol for the Sigma since it's the symbol of strength and confidence to the Maya and not only that but is also a solitary and opportunistic animal kind of how the Sigma would be
