The marsupial mutation is ridiculous. For those who don't/won't play F76, it's a mutation that increases jump height, meaning you can pretty much glitch up mountains with it. There's a perk card to ensure its permanent, meaning Radaway won't cure it.

I remember when fallout 4 dropped alot of ppl complained about the bulkiness of the power armor redesign but i feel it makes sense. Instead of it being wasteland armor that any lucky scavenger can find and pick up n wear, it instead makes it feel more like your putting on a suit meched tank basically, that you know is able to take direct hits from missiles and even survive a fatman nuke maybe. It gives off a more intimidating atmosphere and now i could understand the fear from the commies eyes when u got a squadron of these suiped up juggernauts coming at you. the fight is clear as done unless you got artillery backing you up. But thing again those invisibility suits they developed are another thing, a neat little counter by the commies to overcome such brute force from the us.
@@CloroxBleach-qy7vy Agreed. In NV it just felt like having really strong armor that crippled my agility and that was it. In Fallout 4 the first power armor I got mad me feel like a tank. During BoS paladin playthrough I felt like I was wearing a battleship.
The Enclave Remnants from new vegas were my favorite tbh
I loved Moreno and Kreger. That story Arcade tells you, when Moreno says, "Kiss America goodbye," is heartbreaking to me. I still really liked Autumn and Presidents Richardson and Eden, too.
I loved them because they weren't the center of the game's story, same as the brotherhood. They were optional stories with very rewarding payoffs and bonuses
I love the Remnants as well. They really show off the human side of the Enclave. It wasn't all madmen and genocidal murderers, there were also some decent, honest people in there.

If you think about it, the Brotherhood of Steel vs The Enclave is really just a Civil War since they were both part of the government.
I don’t think being in the army is the same thing as being in the government though. It’s more of a rebellion or a mutiny than a civil war.

Capt In my opinion The Capital Wasteland was the worst map. You couldn’t get around because at every turn there was 2 city blocks of rubble front of you and had to go around.

@Imperial Officer There really isn't a choice in 76 to join or not to join any faction. If you want to access the content, you are forced to join. There is no alternative you can either progress the story of the game or refuse to join which just keeps the game's "story" at a standstill until you decide to go back and accept. 76 has really opened my eyes to see just how shitty Bethesda is at writing a story. Sure they can make good gameplay most of the time but they seriously lack any sense of good storytelling/world-building, which I believe was fallout's greatest aspect.

@@beebin456 exactly, the factions are only used as forwarding of plot and nothing else. you don't really "join" them even. they could've made it so much more in depth, incorporating the factions into the multiplayer aspect, you could have enclave players fighting brotherhood players, but bethesda has to be bethesda lmao
Straight up, the enclave may be genocidal maniacs for the most part, but something about the fact that they're the last remnants of the US government and being the most advanced faction has always made me like them and think they are awesome. And being the enclave I almost certain they're still hiding underground and watching, fully capable of destroying anyone who messes with them.

Ok I can buy that an Enclave soldier would sneak back into wastelander life after the organization went south, but for an Enclave soldier to join up with a wasteland cult especially the Children of Atom is far fetched. Bethesda has some explaining to do lol.

Lets see a soldier had his entire team die and was left for dead by a faction that was being wiped out. Only to then be rescued and healed by another faction. Why wouldn't he join them.
TroopperFoFo because by the sound of it he was never rescued due to the Enclaves lack of resources, even if he had almost died he should of kept his ideals and abandoned or slaughtered the Children of Atom, possibly the reason the enclave disbanded after fallout 2 was cause the NCR hunted them like nazis, they wouldn’t dare rebuild.

As everyone prolly knows the NCR, The Brotherhood, and the Enclave have all fought each other and are arch nemesis factions but believe it or not during one battle they all fought along the same side. If in Fallout New Vegas you get the Enclave and Brotherhood to sign a peace treaty with the NCR they both help with the Second battle of hoover dam, so just like that NCR Troopers, Brotherhood Knights, and Enclave Veetibirds all fighting along side each other against the common enemy. The more ya know

its a shame what happened in FO3 the Human General actually had a good idea use the purified water to get humans to flock to your cause and join therefore uniting the capital wasteland. unlike Eden the General was opposed to using it to cleans the wasteland. if I could of joined the Enclave I would of.

Autumn was lying through his teeth. He wants power. He wouldn't allow anyone to have purified water and just take advantage of struggling wastelanders. President Eden believed his own motives were for the greater good.
The Enclave really needs some troops that aren't in power armor. In Fallout 3 every Enclave troop (besides officers) had power armor. For lower ranks they should have combat armor or something similar to it like the BoS did it Fallout 4 with their pilots,initiates etc.

My Problem with the Enclave is that they what to wipe out all wastelanders. I think that incest has gotten to their head. I mean their goals are noble but how they go about doing it is wrong and it's what makes them Nazis, not the Brotherhood.

The Enclave's goal was to rebuild America back to what it once was, while the Brotherhood's goal is to acquire tech only for themselves and be complete a holes to wastelanders if they don't give them food. The only good Brotherhood was the one in 3.

I still have hope that my boy autumn will appear in another fallout and lead a reformist faction after Eden betrayed him.

Enclave again? That would’ve make them the main villains for a third time. They should’ve been wiped out at fo2 but bethesda’s shitty writers can’t think of anything new and simply recycled major plot elements from fo2 to fo3 (geck, enclave etc) and called it a day. For god’s sake please not the enclave again. If there ever were a fallout 5 I would suggest taking elements from van buren that weren’t used in new vegas or think up something new.

Biggest problem with tales of the two wastelands was how op the enclave armor was. It was fine in nv where it was for like 2 or 3 people but when they throw 20 soldiers at you its way too much

The enclave is the best faction. It's so sad they were pretty much completely destroyed except for the few people who escaped. Sure, they did some bad things. But name one faction that hasn't had something bad associated with them. I wish that they were a main faction in fallout 4. All we got was the grand zealot. I didnt even notice that he was enclave because I never talked to him.

I really loved how the Enclave looked in Fallout 3 since the bug-like eyes always looked off to me. I liked the update.
But gotta say, it's really grown on me. Especially when you see how they look in New Vegas 2:01
I had no idea that after Fallout 3 Broken Steel, that the Enclave was left so broken.
Yep, their major bases of operation where wiped out over the course of 200 years with the congressional bunker (the heart of the enclave) being destroyed only 9 years after the war, followed by the oil rig (the brain of the enclave) 155 years later and finally raven rock (the muscle of the enclave) 36 years after. Seems that the only thing that exist 210 years after the bombs fell are scattered remnants of enclave across America.
Fallout 3’s enclave had the worst armor in my opinion. I still liked it but obsidian’s design I liked much more. I like what they did with x-01 in fallout 4.

Gonna get a lot of hate here, but I vote for Fallout 3. The NV armour does look awesome, but they're too bulky and doesn't have that imperial restoration feel. The one in 3 not only has that feel, but also a vengeful aura, a rage before the dying of the light so to say.

Enclave was actually pretty neat in fallout 76. MODUS is one of the few intresting characters in 76, and he stands out a bit in the franchise as a whole. Would've liked to see more, but MODUS does his job as a psuedo caretaker pretty well. He is blind to the outside world for several years and has genuine suprise when he sees the nuclear wasteland. Its one of the few times you can hear that perspective in the entire franchise. MODUS pushed 76 from "just terrible" to "a very ok game". Not great, but it still has a little bit of that fallout charm in places.
I’m hoping the next couple of expansions really start to improve the game, I’ve tried to play the game but just get bored after about level 10

I don't know the lore reason behind it, but if I had to guess, probably a new change in management, or the enclave high command adapting to the more urban oriented combat in DC. The fighting in the west coast is generally more filled with larger armies and more organized soldiery, so bigger, more solid armour is necessary. In the east coast however, enemies are more mutated, monsters are everywhere, and every single ruin hides a raider horde or two, so a more tactical approach is necessary.
Think of it as west coast = war against civilized nation states. East coast = war against barbarians.

mr wehraboo the reason why the Power Armour is different in Fallout 3 is because it is meant to be the Enclave X-02 which is meant to be a more advanced variant of the X-01 you see on previous Fallout games

Its weird to me to see someone using guns in fallout, i forget that not every uses 90% melee
well i use guns
but i also do use melee sometimes, the power fist, (also got the 223 pistol, and the plasma rifle, and get a fresh pair of power armor from the BOS and harden it and turbo my plasma rifle)
I would have loved to have a enclave faction in fallout 4 I would choose them all the time
I mean there is the America Rising mod, it's pretty awesome ngl
