Looking good mate 👍I hope your shorter than me, I had to drive with my head to the side a bit to clear the side bar lol

Thank you! Definitely I’m trying to take in consideration cockpit design for as much room as possible. My premade kit I installed in the Convertible was horrible for head room, not doing that again.

Great work, Look and fit perfect. You are going to use the same 13B engine from the blue car. or will you use another 13B with other modifications? I wish you the best in this 2023

Thank you! To answer you question on the motor, I have a new REW semi p engine I’m building. I will however use the rotating assembly out of the blue car for the new motor.

Just subscribed! I'll be starting a 25.5 cage on my FC as well but man its kinda tricky deciphering what they mean in the sfi book and relate that to our cars. Also I'm using the granny 8.8 solid diff kit. And the anchor point of the torque arm is the transmission tunnel by the armrest. Not sure how strong that area would be after cutting floors 🤔

That’s awesome man! With the granny kit you’ll be able to reinforce the tunnel off the floor bars.

@IED RACING yeah somehow by either welding the floors to the 2a bars, if it's allowed. I'm planning on removing the sunroof assembly as well. I will probably make some custom brackets to hold the oem sunroof panel in place that should net an inch or more for head room. Any thoughts on the main hoop bar being placed above the oem subframe were it joins the rocker panel? I'm assuming it's still technically the rocker panel lol just on top of it, trying to get as much room 😅 not easy

@@fc3sluis head room is so important, I totally get it. To answer you’re question on the main hoop, has to be mounted below the drivers seat. I asked the same question to the NHRA cage inspector, can’t mount it on top of the rocker. Needs to be floor level.

@IED RACING Thanks man, that would have been a costly mistake.
