  • New engine build parts unboxing.
I finally have all the parts required to get things rolling.
The block and heads have been hot tanked and inspected, awaiting machining in January followed by assembly.
    Still to come:
    Head porting.
    Fuel system design and build.
    Air to water Intercooler setup
    Building AN lines
    Engine Assembly

You wouldn't happen to have a full shopping list anywhere...?

Not exactly, I will do a list when the engines complete but its hard to know when to stop adding stuff

Our dollar is weak, looking at about 6k for internals after shipping and import duties, another $1000.00 for the turbo and then you have clutch $1000.00 (if manual), machining (about $3000.00, fuel system $2000.00, etc etc.... Needless to say it's not cheap.
You could do an engine swap for less but due to Australian modification laws I wanted something reversible.

if your planning to run 25lbs you better strengthen up the bottom end crank and get more work on the rods sanding down the castingmark on the side and shot peened, that turbo can make serious boost

No one said 25 lbs. I said 14lbs or 15lbs and that's only if the gearbox and clutch doesn't destruct first.
Also when you're stress relieving things like rods you're not "sanding" them, but thank you for the advice.
