Much respect for telling it like it is with the UD60 & not sugarcoating it.
I can't understand why certain long time Dynatrac advocates suddenly flipped the script & went with UDs on their new builds after years of talking shit about UDs on their forum.

I see where you're going with this...let's dissect shall we. Offroad Evolution installs UD60s on their rig, Eddie soon follows suit & all of a sudden Northridge does a JT giveaway & also do UD60s... and EVO suspension. NR4x4 is the biggest distributor of EVO & Eddie is Mel's biggest schill....connect the dots.
Why would they turn down an offer for a Dynatrac Elite combo, axles that they ran for over a decade without issue for axles that they know are inferior?

I appreciate your attitude towards this situation sucks that they would not replace it. They are great axles over all, I have ud60’s on my jk and have been very happy with them. Thanks for the demo on the quick removal of the hub.

I believe it was Excessive Industries if I'm not mistaken, who had UD60s on their rig a few years back, axle tubes spun from pumpkin & didn't even beat on it yet. Spicer said the same & wouldn't honor warranty.
I want the crate the UDs more than what comes in the crate.

WTF...90 days, or even 3 weeks to get a replacement axle shaft is freaking crazy. I was considering Spicer on my planned new build based on EVO's recent ventures with them, BUT now.....no way. Last year I had a bend DYNATRAC axle in while in Moab....they sent me a replacement axle with 12 hours....!! No BS. I called around 4PM Pacfic time and they sent a new axle for 9am delivery the next day. I was able to drive back to OK with really no significant delays.

Thanks for understating Steve! A lot of people couldn’t understand that my frustration has been mostly with Spicers attitude, and lack of preparation to handle failures. Dynatrac has excellent customer service, can’t go wrong there!

Knowing they didn’t warranty your (a reputable shop owner)axles makes me think twice about the whole UD60 thing...the day you broke your joint and shafts I ripp off a upper control arm bracket on the rear UD60 ...sad how their welded faulty weld and 2 yrs of twisting (flexing) ...the front UD 60 the track bar bracket welds where broke and tearin it self from the axle ...I guess from ram (1.75) and faulty welds but who knows just glad I do a pre trip bolt and nut check before I got wheel/trail riding....but the real issue is spicer has some really piss poor customer service and welds .....as soon as I get the cash up the UD60s can go on the wife’s 2 door jk were just going to putt around the mall and dirt roads ....hope they can handle that
