I just watched all three of the “saddest moments” compilations. They’re excellent! I love the way you just show the clips in their entirety, rather than showing a couple of seconds and then talking over the rest. Thanks for that. It makes it much more interesting and enjoyable!
Well I think it's important to have the whole moment, maybe skiping some seconds but trying to have most of it, even if the video gets a little longer... I'm glad you like it... There will more content coming on and there's a 2nd season of AYITL to read in this video's description th-cam.com/video/A0HZvw6gR-0I/w-d-xo.html hope you get to give a Look... I've got pretty good comments on them!!!
Lorelei left her daughter when she had a mental health crises. I’m not a Rory fan, but it was really immature of Lorelei to cut her off because her adult daughter didn’t do what she was expected to. Rory clearly needed help in that moment, yes it was wrong to stay with her grandparents behind Lorelei’s back but she obviously wasn’t in her right mind.
@@beckyy584 I think what Lorelai say about Mitchum and Rory doing something just because he made a bad review of Rory's performance , was right... She didn't cut her off for nothing... Rory lost her scense and let Mitchum win just with a coment, where was the fighting girl from the first seasons?? She just took what he said and melt down... I don't excuse Lorelai but now,as a dad, I understand that sometimes we have to be strong and tough with our kids to make them get a point!!
@@chris.dav_8333 As I said, Rory lost her sense because she had a mental health crisis. As a father, you should know one conversation with your kid isn't going to do much to make them feel better, especially in this situation. It would be one thing if she spoke to Rory multiple times and then chose to cut her out. Her anger should have been more towards Richard and Emily. Kids obviously need to learn for themselves, mainly as young adults, but Lorelei has consistently used avoidance as a coping mechanism when things get hard or do not turn out the way she wants. I recently graduated college and wanted to leave for a semester because I had a mental health crisis. I didn't because my parents threatened to not speak to me. I ended up failing that semester because my problems only got worse. It worked out in the end, but I regret not taking a break that I clearly needed. This could've been solved much sooner if the family had had better communication skills. Rory has a breakdown because everyone around her would rather coddle her than set the real world straight for her. Her family chooses to pit their disagreements with each other over Rory's well-being and shield her as a result.
@@beckyy584 what kind of mental breakdown did she have? She cried once and was ok in the next scene, if she were some kind of mess in the next episodes, I would see that struggle but it was ok, she moved, quit Yale, was going out partying with Logan, doesn’t seem like a mental breakdown to me, and later it’s shown more like everything was twisted for her, that’s it. She wouldn’t cure her mental issues by arguing with Jess. It was all about not being able to take criticism and then she steals the yacht and quits Yale. Also she offended Lorelei by saying “you didn’t go to university, so you don’t know”
always when i see any a year in life content, i get the feeling that it should have been season 7 instead of the real season 7. lukes and lorelais relationship would make so much more sense and rory wouldnt be so pathetic
I think that's actually what happened... they just addapter the idea they had for S7 to this new season... that'swhy many things feel weird or nonsense
I disagree the whole reason why their relationship was weird in between was Luke mishandling the situation with April. Absolutely 0 emotional intelligence in that situation.
@@chris.dav_8333 I know and we had to suffer. sometimes I long for them to film S7 again with everything that they had in mind. because WE BE KNOWING THAT AYITL WASNT IT
Beacuse it was not supposed to be like this... It had to be Lorelai (maybe with Luke) the one who tells Rory and there should've been happyness and hugs and all that, but instead it's a very hard time for Luke, he feels bad when telling Because he knows they are not getting along at that time!!!
You both are so wrong. Did you watch Zooey Incredible play List she csn sing. If Lauren was a terrible singer she oeukdnt have been on Guys and Dolls on Broadway.
Nobody, she is just a girl in a picture. She must have been the same age as Lorelai and I think for a second, she just imagined how her life could have turned out if she followed her fathers footsteps and did not become pregnant. The face in the picture could have been hers. Edit: Just googled it! Yep, Lorelai would have graduated from Harvard in 1990.
@@do9026 thank you! I always confused when watching the show in the 2000s. It wasn’t until Netflix that I began to think that it was a place spot for her own picture:

I will, for sure. Thanks for letting me know!
Definitely the karaoke scene was heartbreaking.... But also one of y forever fav and definitely one of the best of season 7!! ❤️
Rory finding out about the engagement like that actually broke my heart. but loraile was right to cut her off like that.
I think the same!!

It's true but that was the consequence of the fighting between ASP and WB... They left the show wayyyyyy down the hill in S6 finale... So there!!!

Jess always had a point
How
OMG!!! How did I not put this together the first time...
Jess's Dad is ROB ESTES FROM SILK STALKINGS!!!
LOL...I lost my shit just a little bit...
In the show I hate it when Rory cries bc then I cry:(
Which episode of Gilmore Girls is that scene from?
Someone tell me, why the "your mom and I are engaged" is a sad moment?
Because Rory’s mom didn’t tell her. They weren’t talking.
