Jess reads people so well. It’s crazy how fast he can pick up on Logan and deans red flags. The way Logan taunts Jess and the dinner. Jess sees his old behavior and you can see he learned to regulate his emotions better than when he was a teen. As for dean, he saw deans controlling co-repentant side and temper and picked it up so fast. But even in the dinner scene with Paris. He’s actually kind to Paris and engages in conversation and respects her intelligence.
@ hey season 6 Jess and while year doesn’t count for something. Jess grew up. Season 6 was bringing therapy. Year in the life Jess is still going to. Therapy and much more adjusted.

Their conversation after Dean broke up with her and he went to break up with Shane. Their first kiss!! The most iconic of all the kisses. Them being awkward when they first got together, then being smoochy and happy, the tickets he bought her. The last bus scene, that was their break up. Him calling her during graduation. And the very last scene of Jess’ lingering look towards her in the revival.

Lorelai is such a horrible person in this scene, only thinking about her situation - totally agree with you and that it was great Luke stood up for Jess
100%, they belong together. I like to think either they slept together and it wasn't shown, and Rory is carrying his baby OR Rory is carrying Logan's baby but they don't work out and Logan becomes like Rory's dad, absent, and Jess becomes Lorelai's Luke to Rory. Did that make sense? Rory doesn't belong with Logan!! That's why she said no to marriage!

I hated the part where rory went with jess to have some random picnic with some basket just because it's tradition despite Dean being there, asking her not to go. He(dean) was such a perfect person and rory couldn't see it
Jess definitely handles jealousy better than dean lol. Definitely a difference between when rory was with dean and jess would drive him nuts, and then rory with jess and this situation happens. Jess doesn't carry on the situation and keep getting upset compared to dean. He is definitely smarter than dean.
Jess was the best for Rory. While he may not have been stable in the beginning, he left Rory because he knew he could not give her his everything. Jess never stayed with her if he knew he could not treat her perfect. Jess fled the first time because he knew Rory deserved better. Jess went through a lot with an unstable childhood. Jess only came back when he knew he was ready to give Rory everything he had, but she rejected him. Logan cheated on Rory and cheated with Rory; he is not the right one. Dean cheated on his wife with Rory. The only man who ever pushed Rory to pursue her dreams was Jess. The only man who never truly disrespected Rory is Jess. The cold shoulder he gave her was to protect her from himself and what his past did to him. In the end, it is Jess that deserves better because Rory cheated with multiple people.
How? Lol? Not how is she a horrible person, but how would it take being an adult to realise she's a horrible person? I think that teens with a functioning brain should realise that a person like her is nothing to aspire towards and not a person to want to be around. I dropped this show the second I realised that our sweet little Rory is the kind of person to waste her boyfriend's time when she obviously likes another guy, the kind of person who would cheat with a married man, the kind of person who would throw her entire life away by being lazy and expecting everything to be handed to her on a silver platter. This show was so disappointing tbh. But the lighting director did a great job. And the actors were fantastic.
He said that he knew that they should be together the moment he met her. He literally told her: “As you wish” - from the “Princess Bride.” That longing look Jess gave to Rory in AYITL - obviously he is Rory’s Luke. Pls make this right and have a Season 2!
Now as an adult watching one of my favorite shows, it infuriates me how everyone is treating Jess. Especially in regard to the accident. It’s mot like he did it on purpose. It could easily happen to everyone, ht because it’s Jess… personally I always wanted her with Jess. They are clearly soulmates. You can see the chemistry even outside of acting. Tho I can understand why they never lasted. Everything has to align. Even though they love each other, one has to commit. And they were just too young. And I think when Jess 1st left he was just too scared. Because he loved her so much, he was terrified to loose her. So he did the opposite. After that, Rory just wasn’t ready nor ever sure, even if her actions said otherwise. A bummer that in the A year in the life, they didn’t dare to put them back together. They are clearly meant to be. Tho ironically the actors was dating both on and off screen.
My mom said to me that Jess was always the one for Rory. She knew that from the beginning. My mum wasn't a faithful Gilmore girls watcher. Watched an episode here and there. However, even my mum knew!
Rory kissed Jess while he was with Dean, and then she cheated with Dean while he was married. Then she kissed Jess again while she was with Logan, and after all she broke up with Logan but had an affair with him while he was engaged? Well I think the problem is Rory.
People give Dean a hard time about being Jealous and angry when Rory was spending too much time with Jess while she was dating Dean. Yet they give Jess a pass about being Jealous and angry when he felt that she was spending too much time with Dean while she was dating Jess.
Dean used to be such a nice person in season 1-3 then the writers made him more angry and less loyal though his love for rory was real and at 6:20 he really wanted to eat with rory thats why he bet £80 for a basket of food.

I can't stand her, if I met her I would tell her that she's nothing better than Logan, she cheated on her boyfriends just in the same way. Kissing or sex - both are cheating. It counts where your heart is, not what you do. What you do is a result of what is in your heart. Plus, deeds can always be explained away... I wish the 90s sitcoms and movies wouldn't have taught our generation that you can do everything as long as you have a good explanation for it (some people may call that laying!!). Like when Rory lied to Dean on the phone that she was "a mess" and then Jess was at her home. And then Paris covered for her lie. I hate that. Girls that lie will never become happy in real life. I definitely think Rory and Jess were meant to be together but not necessarily when they were younger. I am team Jess, not only because he is very handsome but because he is also super intellectual, always matched her freak (witty comebacks and references) and always encouraged Rory. Jess was in a tough situation when he was younger (though Im not saying its an excuse for his behavior) I don't think they would have worked out if they stayed together back then, since he didn't know how to communicate or even love because of his messed up home life. I think that Jess asking her to leave with him was also very out of character. He always knew what she wanted and supported that so for him to come out of no where and say that was... to me that was just a manic episode or something. However I think its obvious that Jess was never truly a bad person considering how he came back and realized how grateful he was for Luke. Jess did love Rory and the time was necessary for the development and actualization. Although I do wish that Jess had been there for Rory when Logan's dad completely stepped on her dreams, because he would have been the only one to make her realize the stuff is said wasn't true and make her feel better. I watched gossip girl here and there I never committed. But this is the first time I actually sat thru without interruption and Idk what I was thinking. Going to get all the seasons.
I wish they had ended up together. I reallynliked them. ❤
moment 39:39 worst conversation ever on the show, particularly for that happens between them later in the show. it could have been such a turning point for the entire show, it could be still tormented instead we got Logan.....
Love how it didn’t show the part where Jess tried to take advantage of Rory on the bed and then Dean steps in and fights him because he deserves it DEAN FOR LIFE
Dean gets mad when Rory talks to Jess and Jess doesn’t get mad when dean is friends with rory
Omg when he chucked him into rhe water ....i feel like i missed out on gilmore girls
I don't know why but they just remind me a lot of Gwen and Kevin
33:15 rory being mean to her grandmother and jess pointing out that she's being mean ... Tells a lot about them as a person
I remembered Gilmore girls less cringe 20y ago 🙈
deans love for here was pure and honest. rory never deserved him. she just left any bad guy do what they wanted to her.and she would even defend him for the bad choises he does.
Love it when Luke pushes him in the water.
None of their main relationship scenes?!
Real
Rory running away from him is the funniest scene of all!! What do you have to say to me? "I love you." And he leaves!! Just drives off
That's not called a trick that's called a felony
So Luke should have more of an obligation to her and the town over his nephew?! Lorelei is beyond delusional.
Which episode is the last scene from?
I was dying laughing 2:32
The way dean reacted every time he saw her and jess tg would’ve made me so annoyed💀💀
So dumb Lorelei goes off calling Chris cause rorys car accident fracturing her wrist. I think she made a rather big deal about it. Rory is 16 not a little girl. But maybe it is a big deal?
🤣🤣🤣
“sO BuCk tRadTioN” dean is so goofy
like, am I the only one who can’t stop thinking about how Rory didn’t cheat Jess but her other boyfriends yes? It’s just so frustrating because she cheated with Jess. I mean. There’s no way Jess wasn’t Rory’s soulmate
I love Gilmore Girls show!! But I can’t know, why is called Gilmore Girls when two characters are called Rory and Lorelai….😅😅
Dean was controling and possesive
U're crazy
Why is his shirt so tight at 2:00? Lol
My thoughts exactly
T h a t s m i l e 🫠
“You can count on me now” boy 😒
i need Jess/milo
Not the full 😉 Glad we got an idea what happened to these two with the latest 4 episodes.
YaaALLEEE
I really hope they start filming for the next season soon😭😭😭😭PLEASEEEEEEE
They aren’t Filming anymore, it’s been over since 2016.
@@Foreverwithevermore ik but all the cast members said they would be down for it
God bless Paris ❤❤😂😂
Oh, with this I realise how much I hate Lorelei 😅
Rory is just an entitled little girl who was never given her the truth. Everything is everyone else’s fault. She was very intentional with her actions yet played naive and those are the worst ones
AMEN
THAT GUYYYYYYYYY
