- Fall is HERE! And we love the cooler weather, changing leaves and hot cocoa on the deck. But, every few months we get bit hard by the travel bug. Since we don't have plans to travel any time soon with our recent move and new job, we figured this would be a good time to revisit our amazing #familyvacation to Hawaii this summer. AND finally share our gorgeous beach home with all of you!

I was born n raised in Hawaii. Most of my years (38 years to be exact ) have been spent in Ewa Beach.
Yes, Hawaii is more expensive than the mainland but I wouldn’t give up my island for anywhere else.

The rental looked amazing and cozy! How long did you all stay there? What is the cost for a rental like this in Hawaii? Do you get a discount the longer you stay? Was it through an app(airbnb or vrbo)?
Only downfall I noticed, especially with toddlers, was no fence in the backyard. I saw that the neighbor had a fence.
A cute little white fence with a gate would look great in that backyard.
What does Brian do for work? You mentioned that he uses the desk, so just curious.
It was wonderful and super cozy!!! Felt like home! We booked through #vrbo there are tons of options in a variety of price points, it really depends on the area you want to be in and how much space you need! On Oahu they have mandated all rentals be for a minimum of 30 days though which can be rough if you're only going for a short trip. A lot of places will give you a discount for longer stays though!

Because no one wants to get up multiple times a night and have to walk down the hall 😬🤣
#Abrayinthelife I have a question for you guys, when u rent a house or unit in Hawaii do you get the same service like in the hotels, meaning daily towels, fixing your bed an so on ? Good Question!
It depends on the property and the length of your stay. Our vacation home offered weekly housekeeping which worked out great for us, but daily housekeeping is typically not included in a vacation rental.

Yep! ewa beach. The "W" is pronounced as a "V" same in Hawaii
