    I use grubs all the time here in W.V. I have caught musky in the early spring and walleyes that's why I had to go with a heavy hook the type they use in salt 1/4 oz lead head I even caught a gar on a grub here in west Fork that runs into Mon. River has just about every type of fresh water fish there is you come this way check it out!!!!!!!!

    Grubs are the catch all bait....from little bluegill to musky they all love a grub! I had some action a couple weeks ago at a pond/lake in my area 3 inch twin tail grubs on a 1/4 oz jighead got about 15 bass in a matter on an hour or two small ones but still proves simple is sometimes better

    discovered a few years back the small walleyes love these in white , go about as small as you can, 2"in small jig heads (the cheap ones are fine cause your gonna snag) is best and work around rocks and along the bank in general at night while your setting around doing some catfishing. great time killer, we even get other fish too, rock bass, gar, drums, and the rare smallie.

    If not for this video, my grubs and jigheads may have continued collecting dust in my tackle box. Actually, that's not true; I use jigheads for shaky head fishing and grubs for dropshotting and texas-rigging. Well, at least now my grubs and jigheads are reunited ("and it feels so good").

    Cool. I never use a simple grub and jig head for bass

    • @shadeshiest22
      @shadeshiest22 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea me either... I thought they were for crappie, panfish, or trout maybe? I always thought the hooks on those jig heads were small, thin and easily bent...... Not what you want hooking/fighting largemouth 5lbs+, or hook into that once in a lifetime trophy fish! You never know what could take your bait, and if you got one of these on your line when the monster hits your gonna regret ever tying it on...
