I wonder if this young man was taught by his father. It just makes me wonder how dirty people's carpets are in their homes. Somebody had made a comment on throwing away a carpet instead of having it cleaned. With carpets that old I am sure appraisal value is quite impressive.
I would think after all the brooming, floor machining, shoveling etc., the fibers would be damaged to some degree...?

I’m wondering if these carpets come out of homes that have been flooded or maybe abandoned for a longtime. I’m sure no body would have something like this in their occupied home. Or do you just make them like this for show!
