Those new pings from Uber about traffic and accidents are going to get someone killed... They ping with the exact same sound as when the rider changes the route so it automatically draws they eye. And they are persistent, I have gotten several in less than a minute recently. And of course if you don't interact with it, it sits in they way, preventing any other interactions, but if you say yes or no, they are still blocking you with a thanks notice... So they only way you can get rid of it quickly is with the tiny little x which means it is that much more distracting... Like I said, it is going to get someone killed...
Honestly i rhink once we add a vehicle on platform it should be allowed to stay there until we remove it. Id even be ok with inspections every 6 months. So many good cars out there!

However, private rides are SKYROCKETING during special events, peak hours and at the airport! Passengers are requesting "off app" rides more and more! My acceptance rate has dropped to 2 percent once Extra comfort and comfort rides have been reduced!
Hi Chris n Sergio regarding rest room it is a good thing for drivers. I had bad experience with SHELL oil n gas company would top company. In past I drove limo in Houston Tx in which I picked up shell employees also in which they want strictly rules and regulations maintained. Being a platinum customer one of my complaint about gas station was neglected and drag it to the extend were it can be with drawn. I complaint for gas station located on Tanner Rd n North Eldrige parkway in Houston Tx they deliberatedly lock the rest room with the reason of low water pressure. FYI that gas station is located in place were near by subdivision some top most shell oil personal lives. If you put on Google map you will get the location but shame on shell oil that they could not find location on Google map and drag it by asking address and then nothing heard. To me when sales matter ignore customers drivers with Uber n Lyft should get rest room priority because they are away from home. It's not like working place. Company should known a platinum customer mean he is buying gas very frequently so driving more n more needs to used restroom so they should get preferred.
Simple truth, DRIVERS RISK THERE LIVES, SHARE THERE, PERSONAL CARS, AND TOLERATE STRANGERS OCCUPING OUR SPACE, FOR ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY, MONEY! ALL THIS SMOKE ABOUT SAFTY CAN EASILY BE DELT WITH BY STRICTER POLICY.
Question for you, I'm getting error messages when I accept trips on Uber in Montreal Canada. This has lowered my acceptance rate from 92% to 72% in 3 days, with the new method monthly calculation... I reported the issue and they suggested I reinstall the newly updated app. Any suggestions/ Ideas ?
Prob poor internet connection Sometimes better if Wi-Fi is off (thus not connecting to random questionable networks) since mobile internet maybe faster
Ummm the other day I was suppose to pick up Linda, turned out it was Larry, Linda 8 year old son . . It was fine, but since I don’t allow kid accounts, this is the get around .
It's not going to make a difference... you're still going to get dirtbag riders in bad areas. Riders better start stepping up their tipping or this Winter will be a long one for them.

Lyft needs a driver verification tool because a lot of the drivers are not the driver!.
People order rides for strangers, it's not going to matter unless they show ID.

A shame they don’t did not accept vehicles from back in 2005. I got a perfect vehicle I could use, but they won’t let me do anything with it.

Lyft nav is garbage also. Telling me to turn the wro g way up a one way-leading me to closed roads. Taking me through scenic routes. Its GARBAGE.

Just make a restroom button that says you stopped for bathroom and not allow them to cancel because you stopped for 2 minutes

I would not pickup an 8 year old by themselves. Cancel the ride and report it.
Lyft is an unethical and greedy company exploring drivers and their employees with a meager salary in India
