I’ve forgotten how talented he is at changing his voice. If I listen to all of his scenes from every TV shows and movies without watching it, I wouldn’t have known it’s him.
he killed me when he say , sirius black died , i was like " maybe jk rowling will let him in life again , there is a hope " and gary was like " oh honey he dead and he will never come back "
If Gary decides to quit acting, many people will miss him, including myself. This British actor has been able to amaze us with incredible performances such as, his Norman Stanfield's role in Leon the professional. And despite being the supporting actor, he became the movie's star because of his famous scene where says EVERYONE.
I think there have been times he has merely dialled in his performance (Planet of the Apes, Robocop spring to mind) but when he sets his mind to it he can be really astonishing. From Norman Stansfield in Leon to George Smiley in Tinker Tailor Solder Spy must be the biggest transformation I've seen any actor pull off.
When I think about who might be the greatest actor, I always end up with Gary Oldman. What makes him so remarkable, imo, is that every character of his is so believable. He doesnt act in character, he creates a character. I think this is a fine line all the way up there only few can cross as frequently as him.
Gary Oldman. Tinker Tailor; Gary is on screen for 5 minutes as we are introduced to Smiley, no dialog just straight acting, looks , glances, reactions, pure genius. Slow Horses; Gary farts so loud he wakes himself up and Jackson Lamb is revealed. Genius!
This is the best interview I've ever seen. He's so unassuming. Arguably one of the most massive acting talents of the last 40 years and he's just a bloke, ultimately. It's truth and I love it.
I've always liked Gary Oldman. He's like a chameleon--he really becomes the characters he portrays! Watching this video, he seems exactly like I would picture how he is in real life. He seems very humble and unassuming, and I think if I ran into him on the street, I would never in a million years recognize him. Great video!
When Mr Oldman was staying in Isabella Rossellini's penthouse and I was helping with the terrace plantings, I'd bring my Bull dog Mr Quincey a very large white Bullie with a brown spot.. He loved him, and would get on all fours and become a Bull dog, with all the snorts and Bully moves. He became a Bull dog....
Lol, somehow, I can imagine that! What a great story and experience. If memory serves, Gary Oldman and Isabella Rossellini began a relationship after meeting on the set of Immortal Beloved. They seemed like a sweet and classy couple at that time. Thanks for sharing!
I saw him first in Dracula that we used to watch with classmates a lot and I remember thinking he looks better than Keanu (no offence and I like later Keanu a lot!) but I think I totally fell in love with him after seeing Rosencrantz and Guildernstern. If you want to see a young and cute Gary Oldman, look it up, it’s so much fun!
Don't feel terrible, I think it's because he's so great that we see the character and not the actor! It took me years to connect his face to his characters, especially with Sirius i still can't believe it sometimes
I only knew him in Winston and dark knight, I didn't know he was in harry potter, so odd him not sound like did in dark knight here, also surprised how much looks like aged Just spin the thing Hermione had to get him back
"Aww, look at that sweet picture of me and Dan!!" How lovely!

“What’s on the other side of the vale?” “Commissioner gordon” 😭😂😂😂
*veil
I love Gary's laugh and that he doesn't take himself too seriously for such a wonderfully talented actor.

Yep. That's how I hear Everyone when it's written or spoken. Srsly. 😂

I love it.
This man literally has the talent to look like a whole different person in different roles.
we call that "acting"
@@doyourownresearch7297 True! Still something rather few can actually do.

Literally the greatest living actor
Love this! Gary is a legend. I hope he doesn't retire after Slow Horses.
I know Gary Oldman is famous but he’s probably the most underrated actor in the United States

If they ever make a documentary about Eric Clapton, the guitar player, I’d love to see Gary take the role. He looks a lot like him!!
True
@chuckbuskeehe's still a music legend
He's the best. Utmost respect for how down to earth he is.
You’re looking totally relaxed and happy Gary. Love the long hair on you. 🥰
There’s no way this guy did all these characters!??? He looks so different in each role but similar and now he looks completely different! Crazy
“I didn’t take bass lessons, because that would have just done him a disservice, wouldn’t it” 🔥
Great talent. Charming gentleman. Love the twinkle in his eye.
Slow Horses is a joy to watch.
sirius black is dead - it’s quite hurts here 😂
Wonderful person and a legendary actor. I'm so not ready for his retirement any time soon
This was nice, Mr. Oldman is awesome.

Gary Oldman as the New Dumbledore would be worth a shout
I’d be down honestly
Gary I love youuuuuuu
more Gary please
We love you, Gary!

That's my favorite film. I'd love to see Gary and Tim Roth team up in another film.
Bin auch auch seit Dacula hin und weg vom ihm, bis heute. Ich war 16 damals.
Thanks Gary, you're a treasure!
Such talent. Love his work
I F**king LOVE Gary Oldman. And I also love Nil by mouth!
Love his laughter
He is great, I love his bit about dracula.
Gary Oldman is the greatest actor ever
Now Gary Oldman becomes James May! Amazing
He is a lovely talented man
Gary “Literally” Oldman.
Hey, it’s cool to grow old.
The unveiling of Commissioner Gordon... brilliant! 😆
Definitely one of the best actors of any generation
Stimmt
I love Gary Oldman
Actors Against Acting Athletes bit on Kimmel is one of my favorite Oldman moments!
i forgot that he had a very different accent from sirius.
I honestly keep finding out he's playing roles that I never knew he played. He's literally a chameleon
Gary Oldman, fvcking LEGEND!!! GOAT!!!
Missing the EVERYONE part from Leon in this video, one of my favorites actors of all time
My favourite actor
One of the great actors❤ in my mind
Stimmt❤
I love him. Even though he is getting older (and is a bit scruffy here lol)....he does something to me.
He's still so charming and delightful no matter how old he is.
Thank you
love him, excellent actor!
Huge talent of acting
引退しないで!!!!
You will always be both, a so called art dealer as Zorg, and Winston in Darkest hour for me. With a touch of Black.
My dumb self didn’t even know he played Sirius Black.
I feel terrible
Don't feel terrible, I think it's because he's so great that we see the character and not the actor!
It took me years to connect his face to his characters, especially with Sirius i still can't believe it sometimes
The best. Ever.
I still sweat over Dracula
Genauso❤
I am ready to see Slauw Houses
As he said, one of the few actors who can walk around and not be recognized due to the fact he dissapears into most of his roles.
The only actor that I get surprised by, for I never realize it is him playing the character, save for a few roles.
How are you gonna get the legendary Gary Oldman and not talk Fifth Element and Leon The Professional??
I only knew him in Winston and dark knight, I didn't know he was in harry potter, so odd him not sound like did in dark knight here, also surprised how much looks like aged
Just spin the thing Hermione had to get him back
Gary Oldman, Christian Bale and Vincent D' Onofrio are my favorite chameleon actors.
Hard to believe this is the same guy who played Drexl Spivey.
I agree to an extent I lived mascaros
If they hadn't waited so long, Gary could have played Eric Clapton and David Bowie in a biopic.
I love you!!! ❤
My name is Viktor Reznov and I will have my revenge!
"...for a million bucks a week!"
I'd like that sorta money.
My money is on the creaky chair making an appearance in one of his movies.
gary oldman cares about continuity of character.
only way to bring a shadow of someone back is the resurrection stone.
which isn't actually them.
I would be interested if he ever tried to drink and smoke as much for a day as churchill... 😂
Jesus Christ, I always assumed he put on an English accent for Harry Potter and not the other way around. What a beautifully disorienting man
You cant recognize him from one movie to another
Woow❤
He looks like Ben Franklin lol
Oh wow, he ageddddd
Gary Oldman is now Gary Old Man :(.
Das tun Wir doch Alle, oder nicht!?
What happened with her face
Ahhh I’m getting Steven king than the exercist don’t show it pkease
I feel bad that he’s getting older
Wir werden Alle älter.
He laughs like zorg.
I would love to hang out with him and buy him coffee
Ich auch❤
Sirius is dead, even in the HP world you can't bring back the dead.
Gary really is a oldman now
Get dressed up & pretend to be a wizard
Creaky chair! He has chutzpah! So not British ❤ ya Gary
