I got my 1994(not '93) MIM Fender Strat for $300. Brand New. Sorry, NOT the First year of Production(as mistakenly stated previously).That was 1991.The Big difference, I noticed at the time, from my 1972 American Made was the Inferior Maple used in the Neck. Defo wasn't Canadian Hard Maple. Satin finished as well. Love Freddy Fender.
@PontiacS This one is from 1993. Certainly not the first year of production. $429.99 suggested retail price according to Fender. This one had a few dings and was old...so...lol! Freddie Fender is awesome, vato!
