    The Lemon Dual Zone Electronic Crash cymbal is an insanely good cymbal for the price and blows away everything in it's price point (since there is nothing else in this price range) but even if there was, I can't imagine anything better than these. They trigger just as well as my Rolands and are like 1/7th of the price!

    Just picked up a few of these and also noticed that rattle sound. You can make them way quieter by removing the plastic bottom and screwing the centre rubber part back in on it’s own!

      I just got a lemon cymbal and noticed the loud kinda rattle sound from physically hitting them. Does this really work and is it safe to do, will the cymbal get hurt in the long run?

    Nice drumming man. I have a Ronald td-17kvx2. I'm just a beginner drummer. I was thinking about adding a small cymbal to use as a splash. Idk why. I can't even play anything that needs a splash cymbal lol but I have a bad habit of spending money on stuff I don't need. I thinking about getting a used cy-8 but these are so cheap I could almost get a new lemon 9". I also thought about getting a lemon 15" crash and moving my cy-12 around and using that as a splash/China or whatever.

    I heard that lemon was coming out with an 18 inch ride. Thatd probably throw a monkey wrench in the whole 18 inch ride thing that bigger companies have a hold on with the high prices, the cheapest being the gewa ride that finally showed up on kraft music

    Nice vid Justin, these cymbals look pretty sick! Tangentially related question: I got the Alesis Nitro Kit on your recommendation a few months ago and super dig it! But I wish I was able to use dual zone cymbals like this. I'm curious if you know of any cheap drum modules that I could basically just swap out the Alesis Nitro module with that supports dual zone cymbals and that would work with the rest of the Nitro pads/cymbals/kick + hi hat pedals? This might not even be possible, I'm still pretty new to electronic drums but would love to be able to use these cymbals with my current set up without changing too much or breakin the bank. Thanks man!

    • @demonicsweaters
      @demonicsweaters  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, the single zone cymbals are something a lot of people ask me about on the nitro. One of the best cheap modules I am always recommending is the Roland TD-6 reverb.grsm.io/td6 if you can find them. They're no longer in production, but they're usually around $150 used (you can try that link) and support a wide variety of pads and cymbals with a lot of inputs. The only thing that would give you trouble would be your hi hat controller, you'd probably need a roland one, but everything else will just work, and your existing crash 1 cymbal with the choke will magically become dual zone on a TD-6 and most other Roland modules.

    Hey Justin. Love your videos. Converting my 5 piece Pearl kit. Currently have one crash, one ride and hi hats. What budget friendly e-cymbal setup would you recommend? • @demonicsweaters
      @demonicsweaters  ปีที่แล้ว

      Lemons are by far the best deal. You don't need a bottom cymbal for your hi hat. Only certain models use two cymbals.

    • @demonicsweaters

      @@ryxn because the dual zone snares and toms are two piezos, and the dual zone cymbals are 1 piezo and 1 switch. You can test it by plugging crash 1 into a tom input and see if you get two zones. Crash 1 on the Nitro/Surge is actually a dual zone cymbal, that's why it will choke.
