If you are having trouble with the batteries in this car, look into the hands-free-link unit (if yo haven't already). It goes bad in the heat and then creates a continuous drain on the battery. It's in the ceiling behind the garage door buttons. Just unplug it and see if gets rid of the parasitic draw.

I love and understand your passion for that car, since the TL is one of the most beautiful sedans ever created, reliable and with an amazing performance, I have two, a manual and one automatic (just for the paddle shifters). You don't show the outside of the car, but I hope the ghetto wheels you had are no longer there, the factory ones look much better.

@@HerVTEC Well that's nonsense, lol! Btw I have a nice 3G TL as well. It's a 06 MT w/Nav. It is a low mileage vehicle like yours with only 34k miles. The car looks new! Overtime I have slowly converted it to A-Spec. The only A-Spec component I lack is the suspension. It's been hard gathering all of the parts over the years.

@@HerVTEC Thanks for compliment! I have thought about doing a video........currently I just privately enjoy my car. I got my TL in 2014 with 26k miles. I wonder how many sub-50k miles manual 3G TL's are left in the condition of our cars. I went ahead and had the timing belt and water pump done a year later because of the age of the rubber belt. Also for peace of mind. I'm not sure what part of the country you are in, but our cars would be a site to see going down the road together!

Keep an eye on that torque damper. The XLR8 one is a rebranded NRG model it I dont think theyre designed well enough for our cars. Mine split in half after 11k miles.
Wow this thing has been gone through head to toe. Even all the lines wiring and hoses are new and chrome, getting those back covers and exhaust manifold painted, this car is annoying enough to get those back spark plugs out. Super pretty. So much work. Wish my TL was even close to this.

The IAT sensor, it was originally plugged into the stock manifold. The new manifold is a bit different and didn't give me a place to plug it in, so it went into the cai...hope that makes sense? I'm guessing you didn't swap your manifold

However, I do anticipate noticing a difference. You might want to read up on it if it's something you are debating to see if it's right for you. Is it worth the money? I wanted a super clean show car and so yes, for me everything I have ever done to this car has been "worth the money" :))
