      THATS WHAT I JUST SAID ABOUT my fellow Americans! HA HA HA! NO JOKE, his English is FLAWLESS. I cannot say the same for my American NEIGHBORS with a 7th grade Reading level, at best!!!!! Funny you said the same thing! Rock on, and how many hundreds of hours will these machines run, for a guy who uses 5 to 10 30cf tanks per day?!?!?! will i be wasting my money? i have found i break every type air compressor i use since i shoot thousands of rounds PER WEEK. Big Bore, since i am a caster.

    I am minded to believe that to use the Hill in this way would cause less ware, than cold starting it several times to fill a gun.
    I am therefore glad you are going along these lines.
    Again thank you.

      I think that is a good thought. If the compressor works like a car engine, then this could be absolutely true.it gets a nice temperature without overheating so I think this could really be true that this is actually better for the compressor 😊 glad you liked the video 👍🏻

    I love my Hill EC 3000, I don’t use it that often. But it works great, always does the job. How many hours does your machine have so far? Great videos. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks for this, I'm interested in this compressor for myself so am wondering how people like it after owning it for some time. I looked at google German to English translation and 'Fazit' translates to 'Conclusion'.

      Well, since I own it I don't have any problems and I am still satisfied with it.
      Are use it for a few years now, and it still runs like on the first day without problems.so I can still recommend it.

    The only thing I think is that the service parts are a bit expensive at £67 for a fifty hour service kit and £115 for the 100 hour kit in my opinion, if you happen to use this compressor regularly.

      But I will be buying one because the cheaper Wulf compressor isn't up to the job for frequent use, more for the weekend warrior.

    GREAT INFORMATION, and your English, it is easier to understand than a HEAP OF AMERICANS!!!! So, do not be hard on yourself, your Engllish is perfect...as is your INFORMATIVE review. You outright answered the questions i have been SEARCHING FOR for many hours. And you did so gracefully. How many hours have you put on it now? I have gone through over 23 compressors now, as I shoot big bore DAILY, hundreds to a thsaound or more rounds, daily, How do you think it would hold up filling that much, 8-10 9liter bottles PER day? I run an outdoor range for myself and use a LOT of air, daily! You sound very confident in your use, but HOW MANY HOURS? Thanks again, and i appreciate your time sharing!

      Hello and sorry for the late answer :(
      Thank you for your very nice and kind comment on my video.
      Regarding your question:
      I can't really tell if the Hill will hold using it so much.
      I know when I fill a 500cc bottle it needs a cooling break afterwards.
      When I top up the 3 L bottle it needs several cooling breaks.
      I sadly can't tell you if it will male a good job on a big bore shooting range.
      But if you try I would try to enhance the cooling system so it wont run that hot and change the oil often enough.
      Mine has around 20 hrs now. But I use it quite careful.
      Meaning: fill a 3 L bottle and then let it cool down to 25c
      or fill a few rifles with 500cc bottles and then let it cool to 25c again.
      This way I never had problems. But dont know how it will work if it works all day without cooling properly.

    Are you claiming this machine is not designed to fill larger bottles ? can it not be used to fill a 12ltr bottle occasionally ?? ty.

    • @ThePCPChannel
      @ThePCPChannel  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well the manufacturer states it's not designed for this. I only tested it with my 3L bottle. This works fine since over a year now. How it handles topping up larger bottles, I can't honestly tell.

    Sorry for asking when this video is a year old. I recently got one of these compressors however i use mine for filling HPA tanks for Airsoft/paintball use. I would like to use this compressor to fill up 1.1L (4500psi) tanks. One thing i was told that the bleed valve when opened after filling air can contain both water and silicone oil particles. Does that means there is silicon oil present in the tanks when filling with air?
    If so i have heard putting oils into HPA tanks can cause the tank to explode. Apologies for the long explanation but I am quite concerned if my HPA tank will explode whilst filling air via this compressor.

    • @ThePCPChannel
      @ThePCPChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, you don't need to be concerned that the tank will blow up. I also use it to fill tanks up to 3 L. Of course it can be that there is a drop of oil in the tank after filling it a few times but this amount is not dangerous. If you want to be sure that there is absolutely 100% nothing in the thing you can buy the additional filter from hill. It is around 150 bucks and uses at least two different ways to filter everything and it is designed for this compressor. So you can assure that there is really nothing else then clean air in the tank. But also was out this additional filter I never had any problems.

    Why do you need that red coupler? Wouldn't connecting the air hose of the bottle and the air hose of the compressor with a male/male foster fitting be the same thing? I have just bought the EC 3000 and am very impressed but do not want to damage it topping up a bottle.

    ...nobody seems to mention the matter of moisture in the compressed air? Some of my guns are worth a few thousand euros and I would rather stick with dive bottle fills from my dive shop than spend over a thousand euros on a compressor that puts moisture in my guns. I think the Hill has a filter of some type ....but I'd need to know more about that issue before even thinking of purchasing one. Thanks!

    • @ThePCPChannel
      @ThePCPChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has a system that captures most of the moisture. Of course it is not perfect, not the same quality as from the dive shop.
      But I also have a lot of guns that are worth several thousand euro and also disassembled them for maintenance and did not find any problems caused by moisture. But it is possible to add an external system that also filters the air and moisture, I think if you use one of the systems the air would be great quality.

      @simonspain6080 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThePCPChannel Excellent...thanks for the information! My dive shop has shown me how much moisture can be in the air....they have three filters on their compressor, so yes more filters the better, but as you say you seem to have been fine with your guns. I think cleaning them internally is vital with a home compressor. All the best from Spain!
