What I love so much about one piece is how Oda creates these factions and story lines that are relatable to real life factions and incidents. For example the void century reminds me of the Atlantis and Lemuria theories of there being these ancient advanced civilizations in the past, and the World Government makes me think of the whole “NWO” New World Order philosophy. There’s plenty more examples too.

Im imagining when Zunisha was younger, the reason she had to start walking forever was because the WG attacked and her owners/family told her to “Zunisha take this ponegylph, RUN and never come back!! It’s not safe here nor is anywhere else! Keep running and don’t turn back!!” And then they all died but Zunisha had to keep running and ended up doing that for a thousand years
5:41 That's why I think (but can't be sure) that the important stuff that happened during the void century didn't last 100 years but far less, like maybe 20 to 50 years. Then the whole government erased stuffed *before* (and maybe also after) so people couldn't figure what happened easily.
Hey Tekking, what about a video idea for talking about the hats in One Piece? I think there’s some depth to talk about there. Maybe the symbolism of the hats both in the story and in their design.
Crazy theory I came up with, the Fishmen are the original inhabitants of the one piece world. Maybe Minks and some other races too while the Humans are “Aliens” it kinda makes sense. They(Celestial Dragons) even wear space helmets. I know it’s cause they don’t wanna “Breathe the same air” but just a thought...
Tekking, I think Ryuuma and Noland did met each other when they were alive. Noland chestnut hair kinda resemble a topknot and they both used a sword. Noland probably traveled Paradise and New World multiple times. Did both half of the GL even have names during Noland Eras, or did he named them? Oden supposedly killed a white boar which is known as a mountain god. Noland killed the god of Shandia. Ryuuma was given the title of Sword God because he killed a dragon. Which you could called a dragon the sky god or weather god. I think the reason why the WG is so afraid of Wano was not just because Ryuuma killed their most powerful dragon. He also ended up killing another type of dragon, a Tenryuubito. A Tenryuubito could had ridden on the dragon when it was attacking the Flower Capital. When Ryuuma went to sliced the dragon, the shockwave from his attack ended up killing a Tenryuubito. Nobody dare to even look at a Tenryuubito in the eyes, let alone touch them. Here you have a crazy swordsman who ended up killing one. That would put fears in anybody, even the WG.
I believe it was in the manga (partially implicit partially explicit) that the prophecy about the scabbards coming back in 20 years was a fake Toki came up with in the spot... During the flashback we can see Oden telling her what it is that they found out in Laughtale and in there Oden found out that Kaido would be defeated by the worst generation in 20 years (which was confirmed from oden's journal from Yamato telling momo that he knew that specific fact) and so oden knew that it was not going to be him who could defeat Kaido in his time. That is also the reason why he tried to follow orochi's instructions so as to not sacrifice anything but his own pride in a battle he knew he wouldn't win. So when everything went south Toki pulled a prophecy out of nowhere (with oden's information so not actually out of nowhere) saying that in 20 years kaido would go down... and on top of that since she sent the scabbards into the future she sprinkled extra information about them coming back in those 20 years too... She probably came following a different actual prophecy telling her she has to go back to wano though... but that one is probably not hers but considering when she came from it is probably a prophecy from the same people that made the ones in the Laughtale...
Hey tekking, not sure if this is already a theory but what if one of the gorosei is Kouzaburou. He is the oldest which would support his 90 year old age, he looks almost exactly like Koushirou with his head shape and round glasses. This gorosei is the only one to wear a gi and even carries a sword, possibly a rare one. It would be super cool to have zoros blood come from wano, but to also have him some how related to a gorosei member would be even cooler!! hope u see this, love the vids
Poneglyphs are made from a really hard stone and infused with haki. The fact they have voices roger and luffy could here implies they have a will. Not to mention the two colors we see Poneglyphs is red and black. The four red are made with the color of the supreme king because it leads to the throne of the pirate king.
I believe that Bentham's family is from Wano because if you look at one of his draft designs as Mr. Happy Birthday he is dressed as a ninja/shinobi and in a latter design he was partnered with an elderly woman called Mrs. Obon a festival in Japan which is like Halloween celebrated in the summertime I believe that Mrs. Obon is another reference to Bentham's Wano origins and perhaps was Bentham's mother and as Baroque agents they had a relationship like Agnes Skinner and Principal Skinner.
9:00 i have seen theory about this that the flower capital volcano was in jaya island the right eye and was moved . what proved this was in sky island was mentioned "Sea Clouds, as well as Island Clouds, are created when an element contained in the Seastone called 'pyrobloin', ejected into the air by volcanic eruptions, " also that theres the knock up stream which implies there was a volcano
If we take the theory that Wano was moved by giants, possibly during the void century, the we could assume that toki used the time time fruit in Wano at the time but when she reappeared Wano had been moved. So now she has to explore the world to find Wano in its new location.
Maybe the reason why Kozaburo was able to leave the country with his group was because he asked Sukiyaki that for Enma, rather than money, he'd like to be granted that freedom.
I want the Void Century flashback to be the longest flashback arc in One Piece. Not 20 chapters, not 50, but a full 100 chapters showcase what the world was like 900 years ago and show us year by year how everything when to shit. I know that might be a lot to ask, and it would be a huge departure from the current story, BUT given how much Oda has been building it up over the years and how much everything seems to be tied back to it, I wouldn't be surprised if it was close to that length.
Maybe the florian triangle monsters that can literally push most islands down into the ocean like theyre floatys were used to make wano? Idk how or why or where they came from but damnit those giant things need to be mentioned sooner or later!
Perhaps during Toki's time Wano was a country of 7 unified islands throughout the area, similar to Totland. So when Toki jumped forward in time she was on one of the 7 islands, and only after this was the idea to literally unify the 7 islands concocted. Toki simply traveled to an island that had been moved to location of Wano presently, which could explain why she was found in the ocean. Just a thought.
The clans that ruled Wano before were Amatsuki (Kuri), Kurozumi (Hakumai, because Orochi is from Hakumai), Shimotsuki (Ringo, birth place of Shimotsuki Ryuma), Fugetsu & Uzuki (Udon or Kibi) & Hitaki (Yo) Amatsuki fell into disarray, because their daimyo actually died!
If you compare it to real life japan with the isolation, maybe you can do the same with gold as well? Back then, rice was actually used as currency. The more rice you had, the richer you were and it confused the outsiders when japan allowed other people back in the country. To them, the more coins you had, the richer you were while the japanese pointed to a rice farmer with the most rice fields and rice stored when they asked for the rich people to trade with. So what if the sea stones were the gold from wano instead of the actual gold?
The thing I found interesting is kurozumis family line seems to have a history of criminal behavior. Idk how it started but it's definitely interesting kanjuro was killing people and taking their hair for paint brushes, orochi we know that he's done genocide, and the ancestor who murdered all the other dymio of wano. Are they a family of psychotic people or sociopaths or something?
Tekking, what are your thoughts on the theory that Tenguyama Hitetsu is actually Kozuki Sukiyaki? It would make sense, logically speaking. It would explain why Ame no Habakiri was forged for Oden while he was still a child (though, him being Oden, this would make sense regardless, as you explained) An important link between the two is that Hitetsu is introduced as a collector of kokeshi dolls and, at once point, we see Sukiyaki playing with kokeshi dolls in a small panel when Banzaburo is coming to deliver him some news He now looks after the region Oden once ruled as Daimyo, and protects it's citizens (chiefly Tama), and the ages for the characters would match up roughly (since the exact ages of these characters are unknown, but he WOULD be the grandfather of Hyori and Momo) We are also only told that Sukiyaki was poisoned and died, but never actually saw it, only Orochi and Higurashi laughing and scheming Also, they have the same VA in the anime. Forgot about that one.
poneglyphs just might be like 'black swords' the blood of many people sacrificed to make it red or black due to prolonged haki, so if they are not sea prisms this might be the case... and this might also be why there are voices on them...
Tekking. Video idea: What if at some point the toki toki fuirt sends luffy and the straw hats back in time, and they become the Roger pirates? Think about it. Luffy looks like Roger, they share a similar personally. And Zoro and Religh are Missing the same eye... I hope it's not true, but it'd be a good video to watch.
Toki's attire is surely from wano, so she was from wano of 800-900 years ago, if she travelled forward in time from wano of 800-900 years ago and arrived into the future outside of wano, then that would mean, wano changed its location over the past 900 years
It was never stated Toki had a "purpose" or a "mission". Her convo with Oden in Chap 973 conveys that she was running from the past in search of the "day the world is overturned". It could very well be that she was just running from the horrible world under the world government's control and was living to see the dawn. Nothing she needed to accomplish. But, I agree her story still feels untold and nebulous
Maybe Oden swords were made specifically as a gift to the newborn heir, I like to thing they both made swords as rivals, trying to make the best sword to be choosen by the future shogun use, but Oden choose both
I really like how Oda did wanos history having it sprinkled around the story before we even got there and had big threats to deal with at the time. It felt so natural until we actually got to wano and it all came together as a whole. Hopefully elbaf is as great since we got so much already shown about it and still haven't been to the tree. Also just finished Vinland it was super fun and I feel the fanbase was divided on how thorfinn is in general
I'll be honest. I think the Kozaburo zoro connection will be an end of arc event to justify Zoro keeping Enma/also getting Shushui back. Think about it, that Benkei guy would have no reason to deny Zoro, a hero of Wano and a direct bloodline of the country (hes not a kozaburo but his would be wife was and he is 100% of Wano descent) But think about it, zoro with wado ichimonji, ShuShui, and Enma. A black blade from an ancient dragon slayer, a blade from Oden, who had the power to slay a dragon, and his own blade, the current day dragon slayer.
Maybe Zoro Is A Korozumi. That Would Explain The Weird Hair Color. Maybe His Parents Left Alongside Kozuboru And They Were The Last “Known” Korozumi’s And Maybe They Were Under The Shimotsuki’s Protection.
Maybe Kozuboru Got Permission To Leave Wano From The Kozuki But The Public Didnt Know. Maybe They Gave The Kozuki The Sword As A Thank You And Goodbye Gift For Allowing Them To Leave The Isolated Nation. It Would Make Sense As To Why Kozuboru Isn’t Disliked/Hated By The People Of Wano For Breaking Their Laws.
Random theory, what if the yuki yuki no mi did reincarnate onto the thousand sunny. And what if Nami already ate it and no one knew because she never let's anyone touch her oranges. Imagine her pulling that power out of nowhere mid fight
I believe either Orochi's grandfather whom I believe was the previous user of the Orochi devil fruit posioned Sukiyaki's fathers or mothers giving them infertility or that Orochi's relation Semiaru used his barrier fruit to make either one of Oden's grandparents infertile
I bet Ryuma died from the same disease that Roger, Whitebeard, and Itachi Uchiha had. The disease where your body can’t even handle how badass you are.
@tekking101 maybe Poneglyphs are made with the same stuff/s like those sea stone handcuffs that were put to prisoners in Udon. The very sole reason, why Robin isn't totally weaken by touching any Poneglyph just like when Kidd and Luffy could still work even with sea stone handcuffs in place in them
Did kanjuro die? Because imagine the sole reason he lived, as an actor and infiltrator to the scabbards. Orochi. Dies what's he got left, the people he called friends, seems like something you'd cry over. Maybe while healing their wounds?
2 things. Odin tells toki that if she wants to see the day that she was waiting for she had to go in the future 20 years. 2nd didn't big mom give kaido his mythical dragon fruit when rocks was disbanded at the end of God Valley so could bib mom have got that from the celestial dragons
Just wait for when we more learn about the giants, they obviously play a huge role and then again one of the weapons that could destroy the world is a giant mermaid
It seems that several countries, including Shandora and Wano, chose to isolate themselves, i presume in order to protect the poneglyphs at all costs, from being read by the power that defeated them.
Zoro’s ancestor was Ryuma’s brother. They trained together all the time and were absolute rivals in strength, neither winning and both always drawing in their matches. But the brother never became famous. Because every time there was an epic battle... he got lost along the way.
I want this to be canon, but it probably won't
He never got famous because he kept getting lost and never staying around long enough to get the fame.
Ok but if Zoro’s ancestor was Ryuma’s brother that also makes Ryuma his ancestor

It would make sense, logically speaking. It would explain why Ame no Habakiri was forged for Oden while he was still a child (though, him being Oden, this would make sense regardless, as you explained)
An important link between the two is that Hitetsu is introduced as a collector of kokeshi dolls and, at once point, we see Sukiyaki playing with kokeshi dolls in a small panel when Banzaburo is coming to deliver him some news
He now looks after the region Oden once ruled as Daimyo, and protects it's citizens (chiefly Tama), and the ages for the characters would match up roughly (since the exact ages of these characters are unknown, but he WOULD be the grandfather of Hyori and Momo)
We are also only told that Sukiyaki was poisoned and died, but never actually saw it, only Orochi and Higurashi laughing and scheming
Also, they have the same VA in the anime. Forgot about that one.
"The arrival of the black ships".... the arrival of the black "beard" ships? Coincidence? I think not.....
Honey wake up, another Tekking video
poneglyphs just might be like 'black swords' the blood of many people sacrificed to make it red or black due to prolonged haki, so if they are not sea prisms this might be the case... and this might also be why there are voices on them...
This is perfect timing i just finished your Vinland Saga video
Tekking. Video idea:
What if at some point the toki toki fuirt sends luffy and the straw hats back in time, and they become the Roger pirates?
Bro I legit check your channel every 15 days to see if you upload new content.
😂😂😂great video video on sanji future.
Vegapunk being 500 years ahead goes along with your Advance Civilization theory.
Maybe Oden swords were made specifically as a gift to the newborn heir, I like to thing they both made swords as rivals, trying to make the best sword to be choosen by the future shogun use, but Oden choose both
Has anyone else figured that the special Haki that Oden had, is the way the Kozuki clan was able to carve the ponegliphs?
Tekking PLZ DO A VIDEO ON COMBINING TWO DEVIL FRUIT POWER. Like some of the better combo Blackbeard could of had.
She probably didn’t time jump to wano because like you said it was moved by continenta pullers
I think that, at some point in time, Wano was the last place that the ancient kingdom would run to, however something happened and the plan failed.
32:04 The word you were looking for was "deposed", I think.
Jaya had a gigant lake on the left perfectly cut in a circle culd that be the flower capital or maybe onigashima?
Random Hypothesis
Kaidos Flames that allows him flight is Pyrobrine
Aka another reason why he's a fish, and not a dragon
7:10 in my headcannon nolands scar was caused by ryuma
I'll be honest. I think the Kozaburo zoro connection will be an end of arc event to justify Zoro keeping Enma/also getting Shushui back.
Think about it, that Benkei guy would have no reason to deny Zoro, a hero of Wano and a direct bloodline of the country (hes not a kozaburo but his would be wife was and he is 100% of Wano descent)
But think about it, zoro with wado ichimonji, ShuShui, and Enma.
Stop, there's no one in kurozumi clan have similarities to Zoro. Meanwhile in Shimotsuki, there are 3 people have similarities with Zoro.
Great video today keep it up your doing amazing job
Thank you for making this
Random theory, what if the yuki yuki no mi did reincarnate onto the thousand sunny. And what if Nami already ate it and no one knew because she never let's anyone touch her oranges. Imagine her pulling that power out of nowhere mid fight
Now imagine Zunesha crime was take out from the big continent the kingdom of Zou betraying the big Kingdom
That man just pretty much talked about one piece for 37 minutes straight with ever taking a breath, and didnt even put a dent.
Tekking: *knows Koza's great grandpa's favorite food*
Also Tekking: what was that dragon from Skyrim?
Too much One Piece on the brain.
Thank you for a great video guys
I believe either Orochi's grandfather whom I believe was the previous user of the Orochi devil fruit posioned Sukiyaki's fathers or mothers giving them infertility or that Orochi's relation Semiaru used his barrier fruit to make either one of Oden's grandparents infertile
hope king's race gets mentioned somewhere in the void century flashback
I bet Ryuma died from the same disease that Roger, Whitebeard, and Itachi Uchiha had. The disease where your body can’t even handle how badass you are.
@tekking101 maybe Poneglyphs are made with the same stuff/s like those sea stone handcuffs that were put to prisoners in Udon. The very sole reason, why Robin isn't totally weaken by touching any Poneglyph just like when Kidd and Luffy could still work even with sea stone handcuffs in place in them
you're my favorite anime youtuber no one better
Edit: the dislike is 101gnikket he's jealous ;)
Did kanjuro die? Because imagine the sole reason he lived, as an actor and infiltrator to the scabbards. Orochi. Dies what's he got left, the people he called friends, seems like something you'd cry over. Maybe while healing their wounds?
2 things. Odin tells toki that if she wants to see the day that she was waiting for she had to go in the future 20 years. 2nd didn't big mom give kaido his mythical dragon fruit when rocks was disbanded at the end of God Valley so could bib mom have got that from the celestial dragons
Make a video about how you think the event of Gecko Moria’s crew robbed Ryuma’s grave went
