I saw this video on MTV when I first moved to Houston TexasFrom queens New York The minute that I saw it I knew that I was going to be a Motley crue fan and a fan of heavy metal for life that's how powerful it was for a 13 year old
Here in the UK in 1983 as metalheads, Twisted Sister were the new thing and then Crue exploded in the scene and took the early glam thing to a whole new level!. We got tickets for Crue's final show of the "Shout at the devil" world tour at London's Dominion Theatre November 1984 where the pyrotechnics used must have blown a hole in the roof! Wonderful days! Shows of a bygone era now! X ❤
Hey EWG, Long time... Yeah this was the big song that got me into Crüe way back in the day. It's a cool song and just the type of video a teen boy in the 80's dug lol. There were lots of post apocalyptic/anti-hero fantasy videos from the time, KISS' "All Hell's Breaking Lose" and "Lick It Up", Mötley Crüe's "Looks That Kill" and "Too Young To Fall In Love", Lee Aaron's "Metal Queen"... good teen boy fantasy. ... But despite these all being pretty great songs and videos, I still maintain that more "realism based" or gritty videos are more poignant like, Mötley Crüe's "Wildside" that you reacted to a year back and one of my favs that never get any recognition, "Afraid" which has some surreal imagery and a really poignant ending... especially if you know anything about the ending character. Anyway... I do love metal react videos and enjoy yours particularly. Thanks !
Ahhh it's just an adolescent domination fantasy lol... but man when you were a young punk adolescent... it was attractive back in the day... what can I say. Still a kick a$$ rocking song though.. that riff ! Awesome !
now you're in my wheelhouse! I started listening to music in 1982, so I liked most of the rock and glam metal from that decade. And this was one of my first favorite bands. But yeah, too bad you have to overlay a band picture on the video because of YTube. As long as you got to see the original ☺
Beastmaster was surprisingly good for the sword and sorcery genre. Nothing could and likely will never hold a candle to Conan The Barbarian with Arnold Schwarzenegger though... just a perfect movie IMO.
What of kind of genres do you like? The 80s had about 11 different genres and they were like 5 deep, I'm sure we can find more of what you like. Sincerely, 80s Teen
Stuff I really don't like are bands like Depeche Mode...that dumb voice that everybody thought was cool. Lots of 80s metal I don't like, the voices again. Hate Cindi Lauper. Love stuff like Phil Collins, Mr. Mister, Huey Lewis, Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses....I have lots more that I do like.

80's Metal was the BEST Metal period! Check out more than Motley Crue...who weren't Heavy Metal. More like Heavy Glam rock.

I do know She's a Little Runaway.
I've heard of The Scorpions, but not sure if I know anything from them.
