I love all the tips! A fast and easy way to use up scrap material. My mom has been making these for years and gives them as gifts. She made some all my adult kids. I love them for those bowls that dont come with lids. Perfect for taking salads orother dishes to potlucks. Hers are different. She does a single layer and makes a bias tape casing. They aren't reversible, but also not as bulky. For the waterproof ones, she found "crinkly " plastic ( used for inside baby toys) that she sews on the inside layer. ( She buys it online). It's noisy, haha, but works well and is completely machine washable and dryable.
I love this! With warm weather on the way, I’m definitely making a few for meals on the deck. They’ll keep pesky gnats/flies off of the food while we eat ♥️
you can press the oil cloth with a warm iron if you use parchment paper on top of it as you iron it, don't let it just sit on it just iron and keep it moving around til you finish it 😇💝luv your tutorial Thank you so much
