Hi. I saw you do a demonstration for the bowls at Sew Yeah Quilt Shop in Las Vegas about a year ago and bought the pattern. I am just now getting into making them. I love hand stitching, so these bowls are a perfect project for me. Your instructional videos are excellent.
Oh how fun! I loved meeting you all!! Your timing is so on!!! I am sewing a bowl at the Christmas Goose on October 4rth. Maybe if there's room you can come stitch along with me. :). xoxo
Oh wow, I just found out that the transparency sheets print much better when combined with a blank sheet of paper! Use a small white label at the top of the sheets to hold the two pages together so the printer can pull up the sheets, and "recognize it" to fully print the entire page! Set this "sandwich" up so that your printer will print on the textured side of your transparency sheet. On my Epson 4850 Inkjet printer, that means I will place a white piece of printer paper on top of the smooth or "glossy" side of the transparency sheet, hold them together by folding a small white label sticker across the middle front top of the two pieces, place it in the paper tray with the paper up and textured side down, and my templates will printout on the textured clear sheet! Finally!! Remove the white sheet and sticker and reuse. Printing this way is challenging, has to be done one set up at a time, the paper in the tray has to be pushed gently forward to the very front end of the paper tray, but then it works more often than not (and I LOVE making easy, quick, clear templates to trace around or use for fussy cutting)!
Hi! Your pattern is in my ETSY cart, would have liked to see how to put the inner lining. My very 1st time to do EPP and I seem to like the look of your bowls the best. The inner lining seems to be more crucial in the neatness of the whole pattern.
Hi Tess, thank you for sharing and your kind words. I am glad you like the look of the bowl and yes, you have a good eye about the neat shape of the bowl. 👌I meant for these videos to be tips and hints, not a complete how to video. Everything you need to know to get that beautiful fit is in the patterns. Instructions and photos are included. Hugs, Jean xo
Hi Sigrid, thanks for writing. No you didn't miss anything. I didn't put everything in the video because it's all in the pattern and this was supposed to be a short video to add a few tips. I can send you a longer video and more photos of the construction if you'd like. Hugs, Jean xx (My contact info is on my website at sotreasured.com.)
That is in the pattern - these videos are not meant to show the entire process, only provide some extra tips. Please message me via my website at sotreasued.com and would be happy to help you further. Thanks, Jean
These bowls are adorable! Thanks for the great video. Off to but the pattern

Where would I find a template for this bowl? Just love the idea of making some.
The pattern with templates for 7 bowl sizes from tiny to supersize can be purchased at sotreasured.com.
What is the larger bowl template called
Very nice. Do you make 2 bowls then sew them together, or do you sew a lining? I must have missed a part

You didn’t show how to cover the outside of the bowl

Not having done EPP before, how do you sew the inner/outer pieces together? Your video skips that step.
Hi Audrey, thanks for commenting. My video is meant to be a companion video of tips, not a full tutorial. All steps are in the pattern. Hugs, Jean xo
