Dude It's really unpopular, everybody says they know it but yet no one has played it. Out of all the people I've met on gaming platforms only 2 played a street fighter game.
@@majinbros9971 You're on some acid or lying. Alpha 3 is one of the most played Street Fighter games in the community. It's the most popular in the alpha series. The only SF series that should even have the title underrated next to it are the EX games. And vanilla Street Fighter 4. No one has touched that to this day since SSF4 game out and no one plays that anymore either.
@@gc3k I actually don't like the A3 soundtrack. Other than a couple of really good tracks, most of the songs just sound the same to me. Honestly SF should've just kept the A2 ost and for new characters they can get a better theme.
3rd strike Chun to me is as bland as watching paint dry. Cant stand her there. Alpha is her best incarnation, Alpha 2 in particular. Badass, super fun, and flashy.
that loyal dedication to something bigger than oneself. something that means a lot of things to a lot of different people. the very fight to keep your cultural heritage that makes you stronger yourself, and gives meaning to a life lived through to the end. you're part of a culture and you take pride in doing the right things to make it memorable and respectful. this is the theme at hand, gentlemen
@@pr12rhodesgraveyard26 Heh not played that ^^ I must have written this while drunk ^^ I am a semi-professional astrologer and write stuff like this sometimes ^^
Chun-Li on the hardest difficulty could kick the ass of any other characters on their hardest difficulty. She is just too much! Took me well over ten tries to defeat her two times because she fights so unpredictably elegant most of the time. But, everyone else on their hardest difficulty was easy after figuring out the patterns. Chun-Li should be the final boss, though, for at least ONE of the character's stories. Because whenever I encounter her on the first round on my Saturn, I just call it quits and restart in hopes that she is not going to be in the lineup of fighters I have to face!
I really love both Chun-Li's SF2 and SFA3 themes, but for different reasons. Her SF2 theme has an catchy and optimistic vibe while her SFA3 theme has a meditative trance feeling to it.
Alpha 3 took a different turn with the character themes and fortunately it worked in its favor. Although this theme isn't the OG Chun-Li theme we love, it fits the background of the stage and kind of shows a different side of Chun-Li. As it was her younger days. You see the graceful movements of tai chi and seeing that Chun-Li is a practitioner the music is a good fit.
X ism Chun Li is a god in this game. She has the tools...range..and moves to easily defeat everyone including shin akuma. Max difficulty and max turbo speed is the only way to play.
Im terrible at street fighter games, but Alpha 3 has always been my favorite in the series (mostly cause of the soundtrack and I've had some great memories playing it on the Dreamcast and PSP) and if Capcom actually released a port of it for Xbox One and PS4 with the same treatment they did to Third Strike Online Edition, that would be the tits. Though, I doubt the demand for a Alpha 3 port is not high enough :/
That sample is used way more often than just the levels already mentioned. It's used in TGM1 for both non-20G and 20G levels (it's sped up considerably in 20G). It's used for the first two level BGMs in TGM2. In TGM3, it's the sample can be heard in the Level 1 (obviously), Level 3, and Level 4 (plus the opening theme).
I've loved Street Fighter since World Warrior. I still have yet to be any good at any version of this game though. Actually, I'm not really good at anything.
The beginning sounds extremely similar to the original theme for Metropolis in Ratchet & Clank, seriously, it's almost identical, but the first R&C came out later, it's almost like R&C ripped that piece of the song and made it slightly faster.
@AiteFiripin I totally agree! SFA was pretty popular and it does indeed have it's fans. To some people Alpha is there favirote version of the SF series. SFA4 would sell good just like SF4 did. All the possiblities for SFA4, the possibilities are endless for sure.
I prefer Chun Li's classic outfit to her new outfit to this series (the Alpha series). Hence, I always select her under X-ism (even if it means she can't taunt or roll from her opponent's attacks), although I do like her pre-fight taunt with this ism (where she bows). I never select her under A-ism or V-ism.
shoopdahoop22 woahoho dude, dem metropolis vibes tho. I felt that even as a child I knew well and good that that was the opening of metropolis right there. Srsly tho why Chun li in metropolis? XD so that means maybe Insomniac heard SFA3 and thought good sample
@kprime284 She does own but this version she has shorter legs than older versions and sometimes I can't reach or miss when I use her kicks, and plus alpha 3 doesn't have her upside down spinning kick which is one of her signature moves in the original. Go Chun Li!
I liked how they finally decided not to make her theme sound so Chinese. Same goes for everyone else, Capcom finally decided not to make music based on their nationality, but on the character themselves. It's a shame they ignored SFA3's music for later games.
@CatSkinCap i think the fact they based it off there nationality made it even more realistic.but music that fits the character is great too.i like both,so hopefully they can have it based off there character and nationality both somehow.that would work just fine. ^_^
guys, they have a heluva LOT of storytelling to do about Hakan, Juri Han, and the shadaloo dolls(which have been shown and disappeared right there in 3rd impact). maybe they can get back R. Mika into action... plus Makoto and other unsung 3rd impact fighters...

Street Fighter Alpha 3 has the most underrated OST of all the Street Fighter games. It's honestly my favorite OST for the series.
AeonG Most underated Street Fighter in general.

Love how 90s this track is.
This theme gets you so focused. Honestly, it's like you get into the groove with the tai chi dancers in chun-li's stage.
Chun Li The Grandmaster
Tetris huh
While we're at it: Ratchet & Chun Li
Amazing theme, especially the opening.
I always liked Alpha's rendition of Chun-Li the best.
I used to always want to fight Chun-Li just to fight with this theme.
+Turlast also Alpha 2 is Chun Li at her strongest imo
andreskizzo Yeah, Alpha 2 Chun is pretty ridiculous. I still think 3rd Strike Chun is the most powerful version, though.

Dave De Beer Not Shin Akuma :T do not even joke about that one.
Medachod dual shin akumas on dramatic battle mode tho...
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Had The Best Soundtrack In My Opinion. The Best Themes To Me Are: Chun-Li, Cody, Guy, Karin, Vega, R. Mika, Sakura And Cammy.
and Chizuru
Rose's theme is epic. I'd lose just to listen to that song.
Akira Kamisaru And ryu?!

nah sf3 alpha is second
This is prob one of the best themes in alpha 3 hands down. I love the alpha 2 theme for her but this is way superior

yh they had an online version for the dreamcast I think it was called alpha 3 matchmaking service or alpha 3 sakio dojo
Fightcade is your friend
Pretty dope that SFA3 is going to be playable online in the 30th anniversary collection next year.
Well, you’ll get the opportunity to fight online when the 30th Anniversary Edition comes out next May.
Capcom did listen to you buddy.
Sounds like
Tetris The Grandmaster 3: Terror Instinct - Level 4 Extended
Aye that'll be 'cause they use the same sample!
The beginning to that track (and this) is also the TGM1 bg music for the non-20G levels
That sample is used way more often than just the levels already mentioned. It's used in TGM1 for both non-20G and 20G levels (it's sped up considerably in 20G). This is the best Chun li theme. Change my mind.
j'ai toujours adoré le personnage de Chun Li.
Puissance, grace, beauté du geste et beaucoup de charme!!
this stage is beautiful!

Chun Li: Ha ha ha ha YATTA!
street fighter alpha 3 is my favorite SF!!!
Who's the composer of this? This has some of the same sounds as Tetris: The Grand Master
shinji hosoe
0:15 I can't help but hear "KAYY OH!" while this part plays
So, I'm not a huge fan of Alpha 3's OST, but this is leaps and bounds better than her SF2 theme.
Masterpiece, perfect synth sound
The bass in this song!!!!
I doubt Capcom is going back to 2D.
Best Chun Li theme by far
i need more songs originals like this
beginning reminds me of Ratchet & Clank Metropolis theme.
This soundtrack is my workout music for various reasons.
The first few notes sound like the start of _Tetris: The Grandmaster_
The opening of this song sounds exaclty like "Tetris the Absolute: The Grand Master 2 Plus (Arcade) - Level 0-499"
tho sfa3 came out first i believe
the sample was also used in the first tgm, but yeah this still came first
Tetris the grandmaster 1st bgm has the same exact sample
Ohh this theme... it was one of my favorites!!! It felt like I was fighting against a boss!
I know, right?
I like her stage background; seeing all those people practicing Tai Chi, even though there's people fighting in front of them.
Just discovered SF Alpha 3. Chun Li and Zangrief have the best OSTs, followed by the ending OST.
I just realized, every Street Fighter Alpha 3 is a heavily remixed version of the characters theme.
1:09 this part reminds me of Ratchet and Clank 2002
Street Fighter Alpha 3: Terror Instinct
I love this comment so much.
Nice Fitting Music 😎🐆
Why does the beginning make me think of Tetris: The Grand Master
Street Fighter Alpha 3 music rules so does Chun-li's theme.
This song just screams Chun-Li with precision
That's funny because Arika made the Street Fighter EX games which were released around the same time as the Alpha games.
The beginning sounds extremely similar to the original theme for Metropolis in Ratchet & Clank, seriously, it's almost identical, but the first R&C came out later, it's almost like R&C ripped that piece of the song and made it slightly faster.
Nah, it's more similar to the music from Tetris: The Grandmaster.
Sound like a theme from Tekken 3
That holler of hers.....Jeeeeezzzzuuuuussssss lol.
Alpha Chun Li kicks ass!
ok the sample in the begining. . . also in a couple of the tetris grand master game. ANYONE know where the sample origionated from?
