And all this right after getting his arse thoroughly stomped by Ken under the influence of Vega's Psycho Power. For Ryu to withstand all that and STILL be able to pull it together for the final confrontation is nothing short of amazing.

But Ryu remains the timeless ultimate Street fighter champion but you’re right the story without Ken and their friendship they’re both half the men and when they combine there is no powerful duo then these legendary brothers from two different worlds!

It's almost shocking how good this is compared to the songs they used in the American soundtrack, granted the american one does have some good songs but some of the songs towards the end are so dull in the american ost.
I still think if America wanted, they could do Street Fighter justice if they did a Bison origins trilogy with a plot akin to this. He starts off as US Air Force lieutenant Jon Martyr, friends with Guile and Nash, but during a mission in Bangkok he's severely wounded in an explosion and presumed killed, but taken by Thai forces to be experimented on with Psycho Power for the "Bison Project", he ends up losing his memories apart from the "M" from Martyr along with the name Bison, so he names himself M. Bison and takes over the organisation to establish a new world order as if to run it from the shadows, hence renaming it Shadowlaw, enlisting Balrog, Vega and Sagat as his main minions. At the end of the first film, he ends up killing Nash and almost killing Guile, who he spares because of shreds of his memories, and across the second and third films, he comes into conflict with Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, T. Hawk and eventually Akuma, and maybe at the end of the third film he recovers his memories as Jon Martyr and sacrifices himself to destroy Akuma for good. Make him sort of a tragic anti-hero that way, a martyr. And a teaser for the first film could show Bison lurking in the shadows, the dogtag of Jon Martyr (which says "MARTYR, J.") in his palm as its consumed by the psycho power on his hand, and the final shot showing Bison leaving and the camera panning down to whats left of the dogtag, which now only reads "M."
Discotek released a blu-ray version in 2015 that has an option to watch the English dub with the Japanese ost. Thats my favourite version. Its also meant to be on the streaming service Tubi as well.
