Karin was pretty badass. Despite her spoiled nature, she too tried to copy Ken, as Sakura did with Ryu, but not in his style; but rather just fighting in general. She saw the idea of fighting as unique and exhilarating and trained continuously each and every day, developing her own unique fighting style. The only thing she copied from Ken was his admiration for the martial arts and nothing more, well Sakura just aimed at that, but mostly perhaps because she loved Ryu and copies most of his tricks. Karin will have a more aspirational story to me, but I still kick more ass with Sakura because she has more quicker moves and tricks.

It's been well over a decade since I've played this game and heard this song, and yet it somehow managed to call me back to it, lol. Somehow I immediately remembered the character Karin. I love this song and the character.
It's amazing to me how much music makes a difference in video games. Without this theme, I doubt I would have fallen in love with, or even cared, about Karin. She turned out to be one of my favorite (if not the most favorite) new character to play in SFA3. This song, along with her awesome counter abilities, were a huge part of that.
Best of the best. Hypest of Hype. It's fantastic how light and jumpy this theme is and still keeps such a tremendous rhythm and slight dark tension to make you feel like THIS is the most important round of Street Fighter you've ever played.
I'm always playing as Guy, so Karin makes a big deal out of this fight but I effectively run circles around her and I think she's more here to fight Sakura and or / other chicks. Karin feels like it's a POKEMON FIGHT and it's her fight song. "You locked eyes with me on this random ship time to fight" Lol
Best theme in Alpha 3. I felt that a lot of the themes in Alpha 3 were really similar and hard to tell apart, save for this one and a couple others. I love the energy in this song, always gets me pumped.
Surely stands out for me too, surely my favorite piece of the whole OST. I like Sagat's one too. Sounds like something out of James Bond movie and Rose theme also comes to my mind as being above avarage.
I think the worst part of the music in this game is how short or repetitive it is. This song is still really simple, but it works. I feel like Seek no Escape is nearly perfect too. It is too short, but it also was not meant to be played often.

I like Rose's theme too. and I agree that most of the songs in alpha 3 is generic, but at least they didn't re-use songs from past games like alpha 1 and 2 did.
everytime i listen to this theme, i have always liked her stage in the console, which is inside a ship, because her theme really fits well in that stage
My favorite character from Alpha 3. She was hard to use compared to Sakura who was way easier to beat opponents with, but it made victory so much better. Karin please return to us soon!
Back in the old days, when this game was new: I mained her with a few others. my highlight moment was using her counter in the final fight with M.Bison on his super psycho crusher with no health left to win the match. that was such an epic win for me, i never seen anyone else do that other then me. everyone else always blocked it.

Even though I don't use Karin, I'm happy that she has returned nonetheless. There are many SF characters that hasn't appeared for so long that I miss seeing greatly, and Karin is one of them _(alongside Charlie, Birdie, and R. Mika)_. ^_^

I love how Karin's butler dude would randomly pretend like he was about to fight the match for you, and then he gets hit on the head with a pot or pan or some junk and then runs for it lol. I also love the fact that Duds had a white servant that looks like Alfred and he picks him up in a chopper after Duds wins a fight outdoors: now that's CLASS ^_^
Partially it's just that I find charge characters harder to use...not just execution at times (e.g.: in the case of doing some supers like FADC Guile's Super Flash Kick lol), but I'd get sore thumbs when I used to play charge characters on a d-pad :P but I also find Dudley's punches a lot flashier than Balrog's...mgb? rocket upper and corkscrew blow? SWEET B)

Man my first game into the Series as my first Fighting game was KOF not SF but when my dad gave me this on my PSOne I loved it a lot Sure miss the days when i got it on Christmas.

On Mame emulator, I played Ken a lot in arcade mode and have fond memories fighting Karin because of the music. Alpha 3’s music always felt extra “loud” to me but in a good way.
For me, this music sounds like a Arcade Room Theme, the happy eletronic parts and the techno serious instruments are something that you easily would hear in similar places.
I think Simple Rating... derives from her background and affluence. Everything is given to her on a silver platter from birth, the life of privilege. Everything for her has always been gotten simple and rating must be to do with her class status.

I've never played Alpha 3, but damn this theme kicks ass.
If you ever do play it, you'll notice this theme really sticks out from a lot of other themes.
Ninjaken Karin, Cammy, R.Mika, and Guy's theme are the best themes in the game.
