Sheath is nicely made, however, that's the last sheath that I would want on any kind of outdoor knife. People hate Mora and Fallkniven sheaths, but those are the best sheaths out there. I put leather last, and Kydex second choice. Why not Kydex first but Morakniv? Well, I'm not a collector, I use my knives. You can't go out there, collect wild edibles,(mainly wild plants), and clean the blade every single time you use it , to collect the plants. I pick one plant everytime, between 1 to maybe 4 or 5 minutes, Imagine, having to clean the knife to resheath it , every couple of minutes. With Mora sheaths, you just put it in as it is!!!
As for Kydex, even if you clean the blade, bbefore resheathing the knife, there is no chance, that dirt, sand etc, will never get inside. That means, that it will either scratch your blade, or even the knife stuck inside, which means, it will also get scratched... Kudos, to Kydex makers, who leave much room, where the blade rests! Leather, is great for collectors, but it never worked for me out there.
      Just my 2 cents.

Maybe in next century will Tops use some top powder steels like 3V or Magna-Cut.

Interesting knife design Jon. I can see using that as well. A light, fast blade has a lot of benefits for sure. Thanks for sharing. BTW... did a preview of the knife you sent in my most recent video

I like the blade, I wish it was just a tad bit thicker and CPM3V steel.
However I really love the sheath .
Almost three years ago I purchased my Bark River Kephart CPM3V 5inch and hated the sheath which came with the knife. I was looking for a leather sheath to protect my knife from tip to tail. That knife sheath from tops fit the bill perfectly. My Kephart is designed exactly to my specifications and Bark River worked hard to get everything perfect.
The Tops sheath was ordered and my estimations were surpassed! The Bark River Kephart fit like a glove inside with an inch of leather over the knife . I attached a paracord lanyard which I use to daw the knife out of the sheath . The knife and sheath I have been carrying EDC for three years now and couldn't be happier. The deep sheath hides the knife completely away from the public eyes so it is non threatening and after waterproofing treatment and leather conditioner it is a beautiful worn brown aged to perfection and has now become formed fitting to my knife holding it like a glove. It is very comfortable for EDC tucks into my right pocket and up underneath my shirt mostly always completely out of sight. I've had, over the years, many knives and sheathing combinations and even mixed and matched to my needs. This combo is the bees knees ,the best for my body style the best for my needs the best for my ease of carry and ease of use. Just slip my thumb in the loop and it draws right out and with a turn of the wrist it lines up the lanyard over the back of my hand and secures the knife for use.
    Really terrific sheath design 👌.
