      so you determine who and what videos you like based on race? typical for people these days pretty racist to judge based off race while thinking your being nice or get gloat from others like you. NO One cares about what you have to say less its on topic omg you can tell where hes from by his accent which proves noting but what language he speaks lol.

    I don't care what anybody say, this is a flawless victory, the irrelevant parts of the video is what made this one suspense filled, AWESOME ONE mr Bongi.

    This is OK: a shorted mosfet. The problem is when the 2 mosfets are fine. You must suspect about the IC charging pump, which manages the mosfets' gate.

  • @mattstroker
    @mattstroker 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    IF you did not have a donor mosfet, in this case since they are the same and only the 1st mosfet is broken, you could have switched the 1st MOSFET with the 2nd MOSFET and THEN jumped the 2nd mosfet with a wire. Then the charging chip should be safe. Of course, replacing the mosfet with a new one is always better but if you are in an emergency, this could have worked too.

      Jump drain to source. Just make sure there is no shorted capacitor before jumping.

    I just tested some power banks, how to make them stronger, and what to do to reach their max output power. The solution is simple, connecting a 4.5V soldering iron to the USB port and use it for testing bad boards. Some get stronger in 2 minutes, some need 10 minutes to reach max power (older devices).

    I've been working on Toshiba l850 boards recently. One I jumped eventually failed. There was hole in charge ic. I think you are right. Best not jump. Another can't get powering. Seems like signalling from EC to charge ic bad. Anyway I'll play until it's fixed or I die.

      that's not always the case, I have a 18537 mosfet from Texas Instruments and it's an N-channel mosfet, so always check the datasheet or test the chip.

I tried it myself in hp pro book board which first two mosfets was burned and welded to the board and I bypassed them with jumber wire and laptop was working and charging

    I often wonder how a screen gets scratched when repairing the circuit board and now I know, people like you sliding the board on it like it's a work bench and when they ask you how come it's scratched you tell them it wasn't you you were working on the circuit board, really bad abuse of a customers property, very very unprofessional.
