Speaking of SOUND QUALITY alone, which sounds better between this and the QC35? Is the sound quality comparable with other headphones (wired) in the range of 200 to 300$? Would you reccomend the MDR-1000X Over these and the bose q35? Thank you
Don't know why but I have started liking in ear monitors than these cans.. Ath E40 sound more natural and mindblowingly accurate stereo positioning.. Though I am a bigger fan of soundstage and enjoy focussing on soft trebly sounds..

What really don't like about pxc550 are the buttons which feel and look really low quality and the 2.5 mm jack. Another thing to note is it has a tighter fit than QC35 and Sony mdr1000x (which i like), and slimmer profile than the aforementioned headphones (which i also like). For some reason though, wearing and using them just don't leave me feeling like it is as of good quality and comfy as QC and Mdr, be it in terms of build, sound quality, noise cancellation or comfort.
Really uncomfortable to wear for more than 15 minutes. I have Bose QC 35 2 which has crystal clear sound and excellent noise cancelling and I often forget I am wearing them.
There is no switch for "switching between devices". That switch is for choosing level of noisecancellation.

Make sure you activate smart pause! When u lift the ear cup from ur ear, the music instantly pauses, then resumes when you place it back on

Man I got to see how these compare to the BOSE QC35. Cus in my head BOSE is the leader in Active Noise Canceling in Headphones.

I've heard they color the sound too much in comparison with the PXC 550.
Bose qc35 are more amazing when it comes to sound and active noise canceling
