When I saw the thumbnail I thought "interesting build" then I saw that it was an upside freighter turned into a space freighter and that's amazing! Just flipping the hull over and attaching all the greeblies and bits to it was enough to make it completely unrecognizable while still maintaining the same "functionality" of the models. Incredibly excellent work!
So much fun to watch people do kitbashes! My favorite part is when you see all the greeblies glued on and it looks like just a bunch of awkward random stuff stuck on larger random stuff and then it cuts to the fully primered model and the gray brings it all together into a cohesive reality.
Whoa 😳 this is extremely busy with all of the details.. I am super impressed by your ability to look outside of the box and create this wonderful space ship. I kept finding myself trying to figure out what functions were on the ship as if it was modeled after a real space craft 👍
This is way way badass, love the oldschool look of it, love the details and its overall shape gives me some GR-75 Medium Transport vibes (which is one of my favorite SW ships) AND the fact that you're filming with an old school cam makes it even better it gives authenticity and nostalgia to your videos.
Thanks mate, much appreciated, glad you like the camera work too as that’s all I have! Anyway, if you enjoyed this kitbash, I have another one coming soon. Hope you will like it too. Cheers.
@@charles6232 Don't rush, take your time, I'll patiently wait for your next gem. And regarding that camera - don't lose it. Make the most use of it because, like I previously said, makes everything nostalgic and authentic or to quote Vader: "Impressive. Most impressive!"
No idea how you have not got more followers yet because that kitbashing is excellent! Really looks like it firmly belongs in a scifi universe. Have you thought of creating some sort of extended universe where all of your ships reside? Also, what are your favourite kits to use for these types of builds?
Thanks for your comments, much appreciated. No, haven’t really thought about connecting the models to a unified universe, interesting idea. There are no favorite kits to do the kit bash ideas. It depends on the shape of a vehicle etc. that is the starting point for my ideas.

By far the best kitbash I've seen on TH-cam. Impressive, reminds me of the space marines cruiser from Aliens.
Thanks mate, that one has been popular. Cheers.

Yeah, thanks mate. Your right, once you put a grey coat of paint on, the model starts to work.

Love the utilitarian, industrial feel to this behemoth. Nice one.

What Brand of paint and Brushes you use
Thank you. I use the Vallejo paints and a wide variety of branded brushes. To be honest I don’t know the labels.

Do you ever use Freen Stuff
Or Milliput
I think you should make a Landship
Got some military vehicles hidden in my stash, might do, thanks.

Amazing.

@@charles6232 are you doing anymore builds?
@@lucidview12 working on ED209 from the original Robocop movie.
@@charles6232 look forward to seeing it. I’m also in Australia. Sydney. Working on my first random kitbash.
@@lucidview12 Cool, kitbashing is great to use up those kits you might not normally build. I will upload the ED209 build once the model is completed.
Do you ever make your own Sculpting Tools
No. Just use my hobby tools.
