I was wondering where the podcast was this morning. Glad to see followed thru 😆 Been loving all the Christmas content. Merry Christmas to you and your saplings 🎄
Listened to this while I helped my son put together some Lego trains. I can honestly say your podcast has been winning me over to becoming Really Mildly Crunchy. This year I made both of my kids some play food (carrots, apples, turnips) from roving I dyed myself from local sheep. My boy is still in love with legos- but this is why it’s a mild crunch 😂 You guys are my favorite podcast- merry Christmas.
I completely agree that comedy has basically been lost. People take one comment you make to define you as a whole, to put you into a category. Which isn’t accurate. Like Emily states being crunchy is a spectrum. People think in absolutes of “it’s all or nothing” and that’s where it becomes categorized as political. It’s about dividing people. Them against us. If they hold one opinion or value that’s different than me, then they’re basically a bad guy, a moron etc. People have lost the ability to see value in others. To learn and think for themselves. It’s really sad when you think about it. I can very much see someone making a big stink about seeing Emily in a nail salon. Just to call her out as a “fraud” as a hypocrite. And then there will be Reddit forums about it, videos made about her hypocrisy. Having people in the crunchy category turn against her, for example. People are not “all or nothing”. All of life is a spectrum. I believe most people are trying to do the best they can with the knowledge and resources they have. And life is hard. As Jason said it is information overload. You can spend the majority of your time looking up studies, information and still be unsure of the right decisions. Then you’ve wasted your days on that, instead of living. I love your podcast, your videos and Emily’s books. I think you guys are great. So funny and also down to earth with good values. Please remember that the majority of people who leave snide comments do so in a brief moment of passing judgement. They don’t stop to think of their words and opinions and how it may affect others. They have a brief moment of snarky judgement and decide to let the world know their thoughts. And they rarely if ever give those negative words a second thought. So try to “consider the source”. What type of person is leaving a nasty comment? Are they someone who is respectable and of high intelligence? Usually not, I’m sad to say. So toss away those remarks as they tossed out those negative opinions onto you in your comment sections. I hope you have a Merry Christmas 🎄 Thank you for sharing a small part of your life and family with us 💕
Bruce Wayne would smell so strongly of latex and whatever tire rubber he used for his costumes that people could tell just from his scent that he was Batman. And does he seem like the type to not wear a distinct, fancy cologne? No, he would constantly reek of a mix of suit chemicals, fancy fragrance, and steroid-infused body odor that people just won’t call him out for fear he’ll hug them.
A driveway is exactly where i got a concussion from falling off my bike. It messed me up for years... I'm a big helmet advocate. Thankfully it's the law that kids under 12 have to wear a helmet where I live.
I know a guy who is totally into local economy CSA stuff... and smokes like a chimney. Not even a respectable pipe - packs of tar-filled deadly cigarettes. Love that guy. But yeah, he exists.
My husband wanted to put cuties in my daughters stocking (shes two and a half). I thought that was a great way to do a healthy snack instead of candy canes. ❤❤❤ thought of this when he said " they're children, give them buckets of sugar" 😂 like fr america it is a problem!
I used to do everything healthy but smoked and dyed my hair. It was a process. Think of how many people who live super healthy yet get those toxic pHARMa injections in themselves and their children. Unfortunately, jabs are commonly taken by crunchy people. Make it make sense.
You two are speaking my language!! Never known of a couple more like me and my husband than you guys. I love your podcast and love you! God bless!

Self awareness vs guilt. You're conscious about small things other don't think about but not necessarily feeling guilty
TYSM for doing a podcast!! I don’t consume TikTok and try not to watch shorts….after this episode I’m going to go listen to your book!! Take care ❤
Thank you so much!!!

Yikes!!! Good to think about for sure.

This reminded me of the time a 'friend' told me off for giving my child candy - he was an alcoholic AND a smoker!😂
Smokin some grass as I listen to this lol balance 🙏
Oh, and happy Merry everything!
Will you ever do a QNA?
Episode 28, though I am sure we will do more in the future!
@@thereallyverycrunchypodcast Thank you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yes,
Amen to the Bible over here as well!
I thought the debby tree cake thing was funny, moms have become such a taboo topic and we need thicker skin to enjoy comedy
