Want to encourage the sorry girls to continue promoting creativity and entrepreneurship. I get inspired to never abandon my creative side from watching your videos. THANK YOU
Was just about to say that I think they may have used Adobe podcast for post-production. It's just a little too much. The "s" sounds are sometimes left out completely
I am literally obsessed with this video. The light is such a fantastic evolution of the previous Sorry girls attempt and I want to make one so bad! Though I would probably paint the wood back white if I ever do it. Or maybe even paint it a color and dye the paper! The options are endless!
I love the DIY episodes and the decorating episodes, I miss them :) :) Love the ottoman but would love to see how to build one that opens with storage. Great job with the light fixture :)
I would 100% buy a candle that smelled like the wood aisle. I say how much O love it every time I go to Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc 😂. Please create that! That would be a cool kit you could sell. Make your own wood aisle candle kit.
I’ve been following you guys for years now and these have got to be some of the most impressive and most professional DIYs you’ve ever done, like WOW!!! Absolutely stunning, great job Becky. Can’t wait for the makeover video!!
Hello! "It's amazing to follow your channel! Your versatility is both impressive and inspiring, bringing a refreshing variety and genuine authenticity to each video. Whether you're exploring new topics, sharing experiences, or simply shining with your unique presence, you show that talent and passion are the heart of this channel. Congratulations on being a true example of versatility and inspiration!"
For me it's the paper lantern: I've been contemplating on how to DIY a cover for a small night light in my kids' room as it is too bright - this was such a good proof of concept! Perfect timing!
These are legitimately the most wild DIYs I’ve ever seen. They’re so so amazing. Congratulations. The audio is a bit insane but this was the most informative videos I’ve seen and you have the most meticulous finishings of any DIYer out there
Oh. My. Gahd. I have a new goal in life when it comes to DIYs! And that is make at least one lamp like that. Also have a space to put a lamp like that. I can even see that lamp being a liiittle bit longer and hung horizontally 🤩 Thank you for this tutorial!
I'm not sure if it's because I'm earlier than normal, but the audio seems to be really strange in the video. Strangely muffled and then it seems also sped up somehow, is it just the encoding? I've never been this early to a video! Anyways, it's just a little distracting, but not ruining the video. I just would want to know myself haha Edit: the wall sconce is legitimately amazing! You really did that!!!
OMG THANK YOU I AM NOT CRAZY!! i literally checked my playback setting because I thought I had it on 1.5 speed by accident. and everything sounds so weird and I am also having a hard time watching this because of it. I am probably going to have to turn off the audio and just watch it with subtitles.
Apparently it's a feature on TH-cam. Go to settings in this video and turn the "stable audio" off. idk why I can't turn it off, but I think it's a problem with android users maybe? anyway, it worked with other ppl here in the comments
@@ghoulianna6188 It did fix it a bit, but still muffled and sped up sounding on my end. But I really appreciate this! Really hate when they introduce features like this that are toggled on by default.
That light is stunning!!! So cool! The feeling of a DIY going right is always a great feeling. For the ottoman, I think adding another stretcher 2x4 closer to the bottom and connecting that to your top stretcher with like 2 vertical connectors wouldn't hurt. It may help prevent sagging over time and distribute the weight if someone sits or stands on it.
Hi, I’m doing accessory design here in India. Yesterday we were taught about the different tools like hacksaw and circular saw. I was so proud I knew so many and how to work with them cause 10 years of watching sorry girls has taught me so much 😊
I agree. The Sorry Girls probably don't need the storage in their office, as they already have a ton, but for the average person, having an ottoman with storage is a must, IMHO. ♥It would definitely be more challenging to make, but worth it. 😊
omg Becky that SCONCE!!!! I love it. 11/10 wanna make my own, but I have nowhere to put it. this is what home ownership is for...adding DIY light fixtures to every surface
I love how you stay true to the idea of your channel ❤ I feel like a lot of " DIYers " once they have a lot of followers and get more money I assume, they just use expensive stores instead of diying those pieces...loved this video😊
Oh gosh that ottoman is so pretty and that paper lamp is so pretty also. Oh Kelsey you are so good at those projects you do. Thanks for this great video. 🥰😊👍👏💜💜💜💜💜
26:49 Wouldn’t it be easier to have laid the paper horizontally, as in following the reed lines left to write? That way you could also align the seams to where a reed is. But yes, the seams hidden under the strips also helped! I also think the wooden side could be either covered in another paper strip, or even pained a fun color. The light strip inside could be brighter? Well done though, this looks so good!
That lamp is GORGEOUS, Becky! If those strip lights can change color, soft pastel hues would add an immediate calming effect to whatever room it was in. Lovely work! 😄
Becky! You have done a great job with these DIY’s! I love the ottoman! I am not a huge fan of the lamp, just because the shape isn’t my style, but you did a great job making it and it came out amazing!
Besides ottoman and lamp being 🔥🔥🔥🔥! And I love you DIY so much ❤ Can we also appreciate Becky's hair once again (I guess she is living up to her "Becky with good hair and power tools nickname) ❤❤
7:57 I LOVE the smell of cut wood! My father is a contractor/carpenter. My husband is also a carpenter. When I smell cut wood, it takes me right back to when I was a little girl and would go to the job sites with my daddy. Now, it also reminds me of my husband.
I wanted to give you a chuckle. I told my husband, and I’m sure he already knew anyway, that he could have his lumber cut at Lowe’s for no cost. He hemmed, he hawed, he really didn’t like the idea but he didn’t want to tell me, but the best thing he could come up with was that they might not cut it accurately lol. We have downsized into a tiny house and don’t have a lot of the big tools we used to have, and he does not have the tools needed to cut lumber very accurately if it’s not a simple 2 x 4. He is making a piece of paneling to go into his mother’s house that needs to be fairly precise and sanded nicely. However, his manhood was challenged, and that was that LOLOL. He’ll be slashing that poor piece of wood with whatever he can rig up, and we’ll just hope it turns out OK.
I'm not surprised that's Becky doing it but this is a STEP UP in the TSG GAME I'm positively shock and the ottoman tutorial came wildly on time, I am about to do one too!! Thanks guys, u did amazing as always
This lantern is one of the best Sorrh Girls DIYs I’ve ever seen in all these years I’ve been watching… and dare I say on the channel… and also sorry Kelsey… it tops the Wabi Sabi Lamp… (Cute but give us another version plz!) ❤❤❤
Becky. Just wanted to say that you are a brilliant speaker/host. I've had to start doing videos for work recently and DAMN intonation and tone is hard. You do it so charmingly and flawlessy. OK now for the DIYs - Loved them! Killed it once again 👌🏼
Becky you have outdone yourself!! That paper lamp was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I LOVE the paper lamp!!!!!
Miss this type of DIY content! Love it
Never seen the lamp done before on a DIY channel (amongst the bigger popular ones). So great going Becky, first of its kind. Thank you! ❤
Want to encourage the sorry girls to continue promoting creativity and entrepreneurship. I get inspired to never abandon my creative side from watching your videos. THANK YOU
The audio sounds like it’s got a filter or dampened
Seconded
Oh yeah. It's very distracting
Really weird eh? I thought I was hearing things
I kept checking my earbuds. 😬
Was just about to say that I think they may have used Adobe podcast for post-production. It's just a little too much. The "s" sounds are sometimes left out completely
Please make the “Wood Aisle in the DIY store” candle! I’d definitely buy that 😁
👀
@@TheSorryGirls You could collab with XO MaCenna and her candle line! 👀
I LOVE the smell of wood - YES!!!!
@@autumnmott24 While I love xo MaCenna, $54 for a candle is out of my price range!!!
My friends the scent you are looking for is frankincense. It smells exactly like the lumber dept at hd❤
I am so impressed with this sconce lantern, it is beautiful and so creative!!! I’m looking around my space now and I want one in every room.
definitely try it out ❤
Becky, the paper lamp is my all time favorite! Love this content. And gotta say, your hair looks awesome! And I want the wood smell candle!
❤
The ottoman is fabulous but the rice paper sconce is to die for!!! Great job on both products!! 😁🩷
FURNITURE DIYs YEESSSSS!!!
yesssss
I love this type of long videos. Becky just killed it today ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The ottoman is literally the EXACT same as the one my mom had in ‘04 down to the feet and fabric. I guess the early 00s interiors are back 😆
I am literally obsessed with this video. The light is such a fantastic evolution of the previous Sorry girls attempt and I want to make one so bad! Though I would probably paint the wood back white if I ever do it. Or maybe even paint it a color and dye the paper! The options are endless!
I was thinking that too. Looks unfinished with it being mdf.
I’m so happy we’ve had two diy videos in a row!!! The clay one was so fun!! I need an ottoman so thank you Becky!!
I love the DIY episodes and the decorating episodes, I miss them :) :) Love the ottoman but would love to see how to build one that opens with storage. Great job with the light fixture :)
Beckyyy!!! The light is so beautiful, I'm obsessed. Loved watching you geek out about the glue and lantern process. Thank you for making this video.
WOW!!!!!!!!! The lamp is so freaking amazing , WOW!!!!!!!!!
Next we need one with storage space! Loved this!!
I would 100% buy a candle that smelled like the wood aisle. I say how much O love it every time I go to Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc 😂. Please create that! That would be a cool kit you could sell. Make your own wood aisle candle kit.

I love the idea of the ottoman but I would've loved even more to see one which doubles as storage :)
It's beautiful!
Missed the opportunity to add a bottom, and hinge the top for blanket storage in the ottoman.

Brilliant lantern! Love, love, love it! How cool would a gold leaf base look ❤
OMG!! Love the ottoman but that lamp. Wow Becky!!! So awesome and the patience it takes to do that detail. ❤
That lamp is really fantastic. A testament to learning new skills, having a plan, and executing it very well!
I would love to see Rachel re trying THAT lamp with the paper lamp techniques!
Me: I need a new ottoman for my weird living space
Becky: ✨reads my mind✨
hehehe

I love these straight up “Build” videos!!! 😍
Oh my gosh! That light project!
❤
OH, those big buckle Birkenstocks are gorgeous!
Becky: Construction screws, I’m telling you. Very easy!
My brain: VERY DEMURE, VERY MINDFUL.
The ottoman is great! The lamp is so not my style but WOW the craftsmanship and dedication is amazing!
I'm so impressed by Becky's clever thinking when it comes to the order of operations or problem solving in a diy
This is the best video I have seen on the internet. And I missed DIY from Becky!
Congrats! Really nicely done.
Edge of the lantern might be cute painted white. Overall very impressive.
Becky you rock so much!! I love when you say stuff is easy cause I could literally never lol!!
I loved today’s diys, Becky. You are glowing today.
That was awesome! Especially the light!
That lamp Becky!!!!!❤❤❤
Such a professional. Your projects are always so well done. I love it!
Becky, can I just say, I've seen your confidence shoot up lately, and girl, you're glowing! I see you girl!

@@ghoulianna6188 I turned that part off already but it didn't fix the audio. It still sounds the same.

The lamp! I would do that! I expected it to be smaller but this is a whole win! I have an ottoman that needs to be reupholstered. This is awesome.
I always thought ottoman should be a storage, because its a box with cushions 😂
I agree. The Sorry Girls probably don't need the storage in their office, as they already have a ton, but for the average person, having an ottoman with storage is a must, IMHO. ♥It would definitely be more challenging to make, but worth it. 😊
I’m so surprised she didn’t make it with storage!…You always need storage😯
Correct. This is just a seat. And surely in that fabric store, there were more appropriate fabrics and nicer prints/textures.
Yes! It should be a storage one for sure
agree! Missed opportunity
Ottoman turned out super classy
The lifts was genius! Good work Becky!🎉
My favorite is the lantern!!!

You did it!!! The light is amazing!!!! YAY!❤
The light is super brilliant!!

That lamp is amazing
Becky! You have done a great job with these DIY’s! I love the ottoman! I am not a huge fan of the lamp, just because the shape isn’t my style, but you did a great job making it and it came out amazing!

Okay that light is legit beautiful. And I’m not a paper lantern girl. 🎉❤😊
Oh yay! Becky does DIY! Beautiful pieces- really fun and relatable. Go Girl!
Brilliant... pun intended.... ottoman very gorgeous. Looking forward to next video for final design installation. Love all sorry girl videos.
That's why I love live christmas trees, the pine smell.
