@@pixelfrenzy apparently this was just a rumor that circulated around the time of the release of rd8 mk1. However , You can modify it change pitch via CV
Ha, yeah, sorry, it's a clone of a Roland TR-808 drum machine. The sounds are made by analogue circuits and sound as they sound. If you do a youtube search for tracks with 808 drums you'll hear what they sound like. Ultimately if you're not familiar with the 808 then this is not the drum machine for you.
Your introduction makes no sense, hey let's do something wicked and turn all the tuning up like a madmen, the orange indicator on the bass tune is to tell you where the setting is of the original tr-808
You actually can program the note repeats. Just remember the steps you wish to alter with note repeat, press [SETTINGS] and step key 11 (RPT), press the step you want (lights up red), then select the repeat type (2, 4 and 8) and make sure to activate note repeat as well. You cannot select a number of steps at once but you don't have to leave the page to do the next one, you only have to do them one at a time.
Molten Music Technology You just need to make sure to be on the right pattern page for the steps you wish to alter and remember to activate both keys - number of repeats and the note repeat button so that they are lit for every step you want to have repeats on. When switching steps you have to press these buttons again. Obviously the repeat button labelled "1" doesn't have an effect in a 1/16 scale or higher, only when using 1/8 or 1/8T. Edit: Sorry, I just checked and realized that the step repeat button "1" basically has no effect on any step no matter which scale you're using. These repeats should obviously not be seen as 1/16 or 1/32 but simply as the number of hits placed on a single step. And since one single hit ("1") actually doesn't repeat anything at all this means that this key only affects the step repeat mode, not note repeat.
Sure I have, mate. I buy and resell it for a living, and test everything myself before doing so. At a certain point, you get burned out on the feeling.

This makes no sense my machine plays nothing at all fueling the instructions step by step
Have you tried plugging your speakers into one of the direct outputs on the back - do you get that channels sounds through it?
BEWARE: Latest Firmware adds a "feature". You must press STOP to change songs.
Thanks for the video.
I'm disappointed with the sound quality, especially the bass and snare.
Do you mean the way it sounds like an 808?
No, I don't know how an 808 sounds. I mean it sounds artificial, nothing like drums. Maybe there are ways to tweak the audio?
Ha, yeah, sorry, it's a clone of a Roland TR-808 drum machine. The sounds are made by analogue circuits and sound as they sound. If you do a youtube search for tracks with 808 drums you'll hear what they sound like. Ultimately if you're not familiar with the 808 then this is not the drum machine for you.
Yes I'll find some 808 tracks to listen to.
Anyway, thanks for the video.
snarkasm ...
Your introduction makes no sense, hey let's do something wicked and turn all the tuning up like a madmen, the orange indicator on the bass tune is to tell you where the setting is of the original tr-808
Cool, well I’m glad you’re here to set us straight 🙂
That you cannot record the note repeat into the sequencer thats bizarre and stupid! Greetz 👍✌️👌
Yeah? Recording is per step so it makes sense not to record a load of stuff in between steps. It’s a performance feature.
Sounds easy 😀
This has changed with firmware upgrade
nice vid, shame about the product
Thanks! I'm finding I quite like it
you forgot all the BS about installing the firmware and driver from some odd site that is not a windows driver
You don’t have to do that. There was no new firmware when I made the video - it works ok as it is
Read the manual. Also, gear won’t make you happy.
Yes it will - you obviously haven’t met the right piece of gear yet 😀
Sure I have, mate. I buy and resell it for a living, and test everything myself before doing so. At a certain point, you get burned out on the feeling.
So sad
Molten Music Technology MMT is right find what inspires you and step on the gas!
whats with the reverb ????????
Not a fan of reverb? It's just on the system that it's running through.
Meh too hard to use
Lol, this thing is easy AF!
