@@erikjohnson3001 The game has been out for 10 years. Apex Legends has only been out for 3 and I have 5k hours. He could have easily played 10k hours in over 10 years. Especially with how long war thunder games can take.
@@stonedgsxr4211 Sure but Phly doesn't have to grind anything he has a fully maxed out press account for years and years now. He logs in makes some content and done. At best he has 2 or 3k accumulated mostly when he had to grow the channel from scraps back in the days.

I would love Air RB with respawns. Like allow us one fighter/strike/interceptor and one bomber. It could even be another game mode so that regular Air RB can stay.
Air RB is not warfare, takin grounds, any base etc. is irrelevant. High rank battles are just air domination to last man alive. Using it only to reseach and update new plane fast with boosters.
I think bringing back EC would solve this problem beautifully

Holy hell you are on point. I laughed my ass off. I always thought the further I progressed in the game, the worser I got. Turns out that it got progressively so hard, that I couldn’t keep up. This was the positive vibe and fun I needed in a while 👍🏻👍🏻. And I always played Air arcade, not air realistic battles… which I just realised. 😂😂😂😂

Hi Phly! Currently I’m just a Saturday night away from having achieved 1000 hours in war thunder, and it’s is special to me. You and OddBaws have bin such a inspiration since I started playing this game and I love what you are doing for the rest of the community. My only "1000 hours in War Thunder"-wish is to get someone to play with me. Of all the 992 hours spent in the game, i think I only have played with other people via Discord for 5 hours. Again love your content and I am happy to be a part of such a great community!
My favourite part of air AB is the multiple spans. You can go conter that heavy bomber after the flyby duel in your heavy bomber.
My favorite passtime is taking a heavy bomber with lots of defensive guns and trying to get my gunners to shoot down other bombers

Hey Phly! I've been playing a lot of AAB at 9.7 lately. It seems like the meta right now is to
1.Hit and run
2.Stay away from groups of enemies 3.Don't get too attached to one guy.
If you feel like you aren't gonna land the kill within 15 seconds and your not in a good spot disengage and reposition so your team can help you.
(Couple of extra tips)
-Turning your afterburners off will help make your flares more effective when fleeing.
-when dodging a missed that's coming at you from 3k+ fly in one direction for a couple of seconds than do a 180 and go the other direction. The missle won't be able to pull enough g's to compensate for the prior lead it had before you turned.
If your having to land in arcade your playing all wrong.

I love Air Arcade because of how little sense it makes, it's a nice change from Ground RB...also Phly, I always, without fail, ALWAYS do better somehow when I have my wing smoke on. Everyone can see you anyways, and I love when one other person turns their on, then another and another and then the entire sky is full of smoke trails. So worth it

I actually really enjoy the air arcade maps. I’ve dodged so many missiles because there is amazing terrain to maneuver around.
You also forget missiles are not buffed to counter the insane flight models so all you need to do it pull one way then rapidly pull the other way.

VPO in top tier air arcade is basically like a full squad of top tier ground rb players where 1 distracts you and keeps you where you are while the other 3 flank you.
But still, doing well in air AB isnt as easy as RB fanatics assume.

I remember one time i accidentally went into a 10.0 air ab match with a fw190a4…There was one other guy (enemy) who was in a jaguar gr1. I spent 10 min hunting this guy in my fw190. I eventually ended up killing him twice. Still the most fun i’ve accidentally had in War Thunder

I personally play arcade a lot, I only have planes up till about 3.7, and arcade is a lot more fun
air arcade is amazing up to about 6.3, then its kinda meh and its better to switch over to RB, but i recently found out that air arcade at 9.7 is super fun too, because there are a lot of premium plane players! :D
I just realised that i have watched you since 2017-18 until now and i have never even subscribed i was like, wait how am i not subscribed??
A small tip: put your flares/chaff between you and the missile, if you pump out the ECMs behind the plane and the missile comes from the front, you will still get targeted most of the time. There are, however, times when the missile will resist ECMs and fly trough them (especially if you launch them too late and they're too close to your plane).

@@DZ-1987 it's ideal to know what missile you're facing, otherwise the flares will only make a sweet visual spectacle before you blow up. For example, Phoenix missiles can always be dodged if you hard pull before hitting you and in 9/10 cases they will come from the front (so flaring will not help), slower missiles under 1.7M can also be kept away if you have more than 1.5km distance and accelerate the plane to the max (usually works with planes with top speed around Mach 2). If there's a missile like Aim-7-E2 or F, R-24R/T or Matra Magic 2, it's very likely you'll be dead, if you don't have the missile coming from the rear at over 1km away to have the opportunity at least to bait out the missile with Flares/Chaff.

I still remember air battles in the first and/or second ww2 chonicle event, it was on ground RB maps (without markers) but ab or rb flight model and you would have 3 respawns. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!

I would love to just have Enduring confrontation but with RB settings and the paid respawnes like sim. They literally already have it setup in air RB on some maps. They just need to make it a separate game mode.
