As a child I enjoyed watching T.P.I.R
It never occured to me until now that the music was a big part of that and not merely a background frame. When those songs started playing just now I lit up and came running to see the screen. Many years later I briefly dated a woman who appeared once as a contestant in the last years of the show. She was the last one called so she only had one chance, and overbid on a set of encyclopedias.
At 12:10 my favorite PIR girl is pictured in the middle.

So absolutely cool that you somehow compiled all the Price is Right music. Ever since I was little, I've always loved the opening theme. Very cool chart that's well arranged. I'm 59 now and still love it. All the rest of the music is fascinating to listen too. If anyone knows who wrote and/or arranged the score(s), post here. It would be interesting to learn a bit more about the history of this groovy music. 🙂

Reminds me of a time I fell into a cereal box and I was rustling around on the left side of a cd called roller coaster tycoon. How on Earth did we ever get out of that cereal box without being accompanied by a non-malevolent force which converted to count chocula then swiftly ordered itself a brief piece of toast with eggs on side for what was only a breakfast in the making?
