@@Jay-yh1od A few years ago there was shortage of sugar in market. Due to which there was a surge in sugar prices. But due to this surge, the sellers started hoarding sugar and created artificial shortage which increased the price even more. And then the govt cracked down on such sellers and imposed a storage limit. Due to which the price came back to normal but in the farm laws Modiji changed the food items in essential commodities act. So now these items could be stored in an unlimited amount and govt can only take action against it if there is a famine or war.
How you make money is more important than how much you make .Please Be Kind to animals.

also adding on..a scientific aspect... to do farming people starting cutting down forests (ig uk history) and after the produce is taken the left is burnt (deforestation and airpollution)and also coz of increase of vegetarians farmers put fertilizers to increase their produce (soil pollution) farming 2 to 3 times in land with use of chemical fertilizers makes it baren nothing can be grown again in that land...on the other hand we non veg ppl we dont disrupt any food chain...we breed them..make them grow in n number and also these dont need that much space farms can be made in floors and fodder to them can be any waste products of the farm (we dont burn them) even when cut them throw away the inedible products of the animal...they get decomposed in the soil and help the soil to regain its fertility(hope uk hw microbes do that) ...considering all these points we non veg are environmentally more feasible than veg ppl... u mind the feelings of animals when we kill them...BUT YOU DONT SEE HOW YOU KILL THE MOTHER EARTH................learn 11th std ecology if u dont understand.....dont just blaber.

As someone who has spend a considerable time of life in village, have a different view on price. 40 years earlier hardly anyone in India heard of broiler chicken. With availability of commercial broiler chicken in recent decades , the demand is adequately met. Chicken should have been costlier then because - 1) indigenous chicken produces very little meat and takes 4/5 months to gain weight of mere 1 Kg. 2) indigenous (local) chicken are prone to many diseases. And in many cases, entire flocks perish in a locality.
All these result in short supply and increase in demand, whereas goats are less prone to diseases and produces good amount to meat . It may not be enough but the mortality is less.

Raising chickens is easier than raising goats. Chickens grow faster, require less space. Probably why the chicken industry scaled up more than the goat industry.
Goat breeding takes 4-6 months whereas chicken grows within 1 month.. Non vegetatiams say mutton is much tastier than chicken.. So the demand is more...

Chiken is cheap because of money from eggs. A hen can give 100s of eggs. While there is little market for goat milk. If there was a huge market for goat milk, mutton would be cheap.

Scaling mutton ( goat farms) is more expensive & require lot more space than chicken farms. Chicken 🐓 grows at fast rate & fully ready within 8 to 10 weeks but lamb 🐑 age slowly hence mutton farming is not easy
