I absolutely adore the 1100s. They have so much character and aggression, and they look insanely cool. You never see them on the road either, which sets them apart from the 800. I'm still torn between the two. They have a different suspension and handlebar setup, but other than that, they're pretty much the same bike. There is something awesome about the Giallo Ocra livery.
At the beginning of your video there was a ducati scrambler parked in your driveway, was that a '62 or what. Nice blue colour, never seen one in that colour. Love that yellow on the Tribute, Ducati should use that colour on more of their bikes.
Nice bike sir. I was very interested in the Sport Pro but the spoke wheels and the higher handlebars from the Tribute are way more up to my taste. One question though....What about the heat from the engine? I have read that it gets super hot in the area of the right peg. Is that true? Tnx in advance and enjoy 👍
I'm the same. The Sport PRO was my dream bike, but there are details on the Tribute, like the ones you mentioned, which have started to tempt me. It's a hot bike. I did some long rides during my loan, and it was cooking by the end of it. Ideal for the winter, not so much in summer.
It's so refreshing to see such an outgoing paint job! Other than the shape of the handlebar and the suspension, they're an identical machine. I love them both and would be glad to have either as my daily bike :)
It took some getting used to having it that high. Potentially there are aftermarket options which will change the position, but I don’t think they’ll go that low. I know on the older 1100’s you could get after market exhausts to sit side by due under the seat
Ah yes, I know exactly what you mean. I believe Triumph and RE have gone down that route and it does look good. I’ve been riding Scrambler Ducati’s for a while now so I’m pretty used to the style :)
Haha! I honestly love them. I used to prefer the Sport PRO, but now I’m leaning towards the Tribute 🙂. It’s a shame how windy this video is as you don’t get to fully appreciate the exhaust note. I did another video where I rode to Cheddar Gorge and I made sure the audio was spot on for that one 🙂
That is a great question, but honestly, I don’t know how equipped I am to answer it. I couldn’t tell the difference in the suspension other than the fact one of my hands would go slightly numb after a while on the Tribute Pro. As for the riding position, I much preferred the flat bar of the Sport Pro. Other than that, they’re pretty much identical and an absolute joy to ride. Sorry, I can’t be of more help 🙂

It is indeed a Sixty2. Good eye! Yeah, the Tribute PRO Giallo Ocra is a beautiful colour. It certainly stands out 🙂

Is there a centre stand as accessory for this bike?
I’m not sure. I don’t think Ducati have designed anything. Perhaps a third party have built one.

No, Darren delivered the bike. I then went for a ride and my fiancé is pillion and filming.
